I'm not concerned about you getting back, Des. I'm concerned about the constant time off that you take. If you can manage to stick around a while to show that it's actually worth giving the rank back for the time, then I've no qualms of retroactively revoking that demotion.
But honestly, consider if I was to just hand it back and you walk off for another four months. Not exactly that reassuring. You really don't have to /prove/ anything so much as stick around. I'd call two months minimum a good jumpoff point, but if you're really keen on getting your spot back, just get a petition with enough support for you back on the mod squad and i'll be just as satisfied.
