I'll be honest:
You just look like a guy in a coat and a hat.
For one, Giovanni is a difficult man to cosplay.
Two, your attempt certainly isn't the best I've seen. I know this because there are Giovanni cosplays I've seen that immediately make me go, "Oh, hey, that's Giovanni." Were I to spot you at a convention, I would automatically assume that you were cosplaying something I had never seen, or possibly even that you weren't cosplaying at all and had stumbled into the convention to fulfill some duties as a stereotypical-looking PI. I'm not even sure the little red accessory would even make much of a difference on this front. There are much more recognizable versions of Giovanni that you could cosplay, but this isn't one of them.
Three, shave. You look like a child molester, which is different from a ***** in that they must alert people to their registered offenses.

hey thanks your kind words inspire me to do greater next time
And ******** you all, I shave every Monday, and that was Sunday. It was a gangster/mafia themed party, and Giovanni is quite mafia/gangster so that was the best I could do within 24 hours.

There is a difference between constructive criticism and going you did x y and z wrong AND I WONT TELL YOU HOW TO IMPROVE.
I admit the shaving thing, but as I said, shaving day is Monday.
