He was still outside, hiding in the snow. He wasn't aware that the werepyre was dead...

she ran and found another dead body, she began to drink but she was knocked against a huge snow bank and was unconcioise.

He saw her lying in front of his hiding place. Poking his head out of the snow, he looked around to see if there was any danger. Seeing that there wasn't, he began to lick her face in an attempt to wake her up.
