Angeles flinched, her eyes glowing as she turned to the wolf who mocked her, "Louis," she growled through her teeth, visibly shaking from the strain of not jumping off the horse to attack the wolf, "Leon," she growled in the same tone.
The ranger shook his head and pulled up his bow, a silver-tipped arrow aimed for the heart of Emilia's brother. The fletchings of his arrow rested against his cheek, ready to be released. Words were stuck in his chest, words Angeles knew but would not say, because they were his words to say.
"No," he simply said to Emilia and Angeles growled, the leather crinkling under her hands, "Louis let's go now."

Emilia wanted Leon away, far far away from her. Why was Angeles letting the human stay? Didn't she understand what the female wolf asked for?!
Louis jumped onto Alexandria behind Angeles. His dagger at the ready, he pressed his body against the vampire's, his eyes fixed upon the darkness which was shifting as the horse moved forward. He counted two, one on each side. But the shadows could very well hide one or two others.
He hated leaving his friends behind, but that was the best solution.
Emilia knew that the man would not move. She heard the bow and sighed.
Karl chuckled. "My oh my, look at those love birds, protecting each other." The wolf started pacing, still laughing, yet making it easier for the ranger to aim. "Well well, I had for order to bring you to Father, however seeing that this b*****d is still here, I have no choice but to kill you both."
He paused. "You know big sis, I believe that what I have not swallowed was that you killed Mother." He noticed with satisfaction Emilia's change of expression. "Oops was that a secret?"
"You see human, you should not get too close to her or you'll die. I give you one last chance, if you turn away now you have my word we won't chase yo-"
"ENOUGH! Get to it Karl." shouted Emilia as she finished her transformation, her body now being fully the one of a standing werewolf with two pairs of powerful arms.
"Ohhhh I was just trying to be n-"
"You are full of it Karl, the truth is that you are scared to attack me."
The male wolf's expression turned grey. "I am not a pup anymore, you'll pay..." he growled.

Leon watched waited, the moment he stopped his arrow flew from the bow and struck Karl in the chest, intentionally missing his heart by centimeters. Leon merely took out another silver-tipped arrow and pulled the bow back, aiming for the cousin, "I'm well aware that she's capable of killing me. I knew that was the case the moment I met her. After all, its what we do, as leaving creatures, humans, vampires, werewolves. We kill, ceaselessly."
Angeles looked from side to side without moving her head. Two wolves, just as Emilia thought to her. One for each vampire, but Louis was too injured. Alright, two wolves for Angeles to take care of. She'd have to be careful about this. She kept her deathwhisper at an angle that could easily be used if needed.

Emilia almost jumped as she heard the voice of the ranger. She had not expected him to speak. As the arrow pierced Karl's chest, the wolf howled, his shriek echoing around the woods. One of the wolves who was stalking Angeles and Louis changed direction, going back to Karl and Winston. The auburn beast charged immediately in the direction of the ranger, attacking from behind the human and the female werewolf. Winston attacked as well despite the arrow in Leon's bow and his sure aim as witnessed by Karl's wound.
Emilia jumped backward, putting herself between Leon and the new comer. The angle of her jump combined with a root sticking out of the ground resulted in the auburn wolf being able to strike her on the shoulder, however he missed his goal which had been the human. The female wolf rolled with a grunt for the blow was on her shoulder already damaged earlier, yet she was on her feet in seconds, running towards the new wolf who seemed having much more skill than her brother. She had never seen him before and his ways of keeping moving all the time, changing course in a random manner was bothering her. Before she realized it, she had put too much distance between Leon and herself.
Louis was somewhat relieved to see a wolf disappearing. Yet he hoped Emilia and Leon would be prepared. "Let it attack." he whispered to Angeles.

Kageko, meanwhile, watched from the tree she had managed to jump into when her horse fell into the gopher hole. She had cursed her luck and her lack of attention but had quickly returned to analyzing the very thing that had caused her to lose focus in the first place. It was a large energy signal and the girl was deciphering the details of it. The source was still far away and, judging from the pace it was traveling at, wouldn't be here for another 20 minutes or so. At the same time, though, the speed was mind-blowing. At the current distance, Kageko was unable to sense anything specific, but the speed enough meant that what she was analyzing was most likely a werewolf, and a strong one at that. Friend or foe, she did not know. However, the information definitely seemed important enough to relay.
"Another werewolf is approaching," the girl informed from her perch as she finally returned her full attention to the battle below, "stronger than the others around here." Sensing around her immediate area for the first time in a while, Kageko noticed just then that both Angeles and Louis were now separated from her, Emilia, and Leon. The idea of their group being divided worried the girl but she said nothing about it.

Angeles flinched and looked over at the dead wolf before looking up at the vampire in the tree, perched like some sort of bird with a grin on his face. Yes, she knew him, and her hands gripped the reigns tightly and the leather cracked under the grip, "Jonathan," she said in a tone of greeting and loathing.
"Running from beasts now are we Angeles?" asked the vampire jovially. He swung is sword, removing all the gore from it before sheathing it at his waist. Angeles growled in her throat.
Leon did not even move as the werewolves paced around him. He moved when they did, turning to avoid the simultaneous attack. The bow caught in the werewolf's mouth and was wrenched from his hand and snapped like a twig. Leon grunted and fell, realizing he was now defenseless.
He flattened out as the other werewolf flew over him and he rolled to his feet, faltering slightly before he removed one of the daggers from his belt. He held it in his fingers, rather than with the entire hand. He then flipped the blade through the air at the werewolf, closing his eyes and moving his hands before sending a blast of air behind it, giving it a boost of speed.

Louis did not move, nor shifted his gaze from the smiling vampire. He could feel the effect of the wolf's blood dissipating. Not so soon... he mentally hissed forgetting about Angeles's ability.
Emilia was stuck. The wolf did not want to hurt her, yet she knew that seconds were becoming precious.
Karl was surprised by the human's strengths. "Not too bad for a piece of meat..." he chuckled. The wound in his chest hurt more than the pathetic attempts of the ranger with his dagger.
Emilia was boiling. Keep cool... she tried to calm herself. "Who are you?" she barked at the auburn wolf. Silence was her answer.
Karl ran towards the human making jumps from side to side to avoid the blasts coming from his prey.
"F..." Emilia charged the wolf, instead of avoiding the claws lashing at her as she had done up until then, she pressed forward, grunting at the blow with slice her skin and flesh on her side and back leg, yet she did not halt. She had to be next to the human, she had to protect him. Her landing sent her rolling down in the dirt, but she stood back up, racing as she saw her brother attacking Leon.
The hit between the siblings was hard, sending them both against a tree. Between her falls she had lost her swords, yet she was more dangerous than ever.
The auburn wolf arrived at the scene, he stared at Leon but did not attack. He sat, staring at Karl and Emilia. At that moment she heard Kageko's voice announcing a more powerful beast heading their way....but the female wolf did not hear. The female did not wait, her hand grabbed the arrow sticking out of her brother's chest, the silver burnt her hand but she pressed until the metal reached his heart. A despicable noise came out of the male's throat.
Emilia felt sick, tired and...hungry.

Kageko could sense Emilia's energy going crazy. Her goggles were in front of her eyes, blocking the girl's sight but not hindering her in any way. She could feel the distinct energies of the trees and the energies of those around her almost as if she was seeing them with her eyes, the only difference was that she didn't need to see the nauseating blood.
Gripping the tree she was on even tighter, the girl calculated her next course of action. There were two choices, attempt to calm Emilia or help Leon. At the moment, Leon seemed able to hold his own and it would definitely not be in the group's favor for Emilia to go berserk and attack them. With that point of view, the girl decided to calm Emilia first.
After position herself over the werewolf, Kageko leaned back and allowed her body to hang from the tree branch she was on right behind the werewolf. In the same movement that she had used to fling herself backwards and hang, the girl placed her left hand on the wolf's back and her right hand, which was holding a still-closed vial of the sleeping gas, in front of the werewolf's nose as a precaution. Hopefully, Kageko would be able to break the vial in time to save herself if Emilia ever showed any signs of attacking her. With the hand that was on the werewolf's back, the girl began to mess with Emilia's energy to calm her wild side. She hoped that her manipulation was enough, that it would stop Emilia's rampant and aggressive energy.

"Earrings are lot like sneezes to meee~ Two are fine, but ten in a row is annoyiiiiiiing~"
Namsu Darne walked at a steady beat with the song he sang boisterously. It's a public forest, and I can do whatever I please. He tapped his staff on the ground twice as it came down in rhythm with the song, yelling a melody past the trees. But it was cut sharply by a howl that echoed through the leaves. His head turned in the direction of the howl sharply. Wolves don't howl for leisure. He went up to a tree and felt the bark, knocking on it and pushing against it.
"I think I should be able to do it here."
He hepped a leg up, pressing his foot against the tree.
"One... two..."
He pushed off, sending him flying towards another tree. But before he could collide, he maneuvered his body expertly, flipping mid-air, and catching the bark of the tree with his feet and pressing off again. He did this repeatedly in the direction of the howl.
"Now where... there!"
He stopped, jumping straight at a tree and catching it with both feet, as if he was landing on normal ground.
"Now what is -- Oof."
Unfortunately, when you land on a tree as if it's the ground, gravity disagrees with you. He hit the ground hard, his hat falling off.
"I... did not mean for that to happen."
Namsu got to his feet, picking up his hat and brushing it off. A long orange peacock feather that protruded from a strap on the hat quivered with a nervous tension.
"Firend, calm down. I had the whole thing under control."
He stroked the feather once from base to tip and the whole feather fell peacefully into a long arc backwards. Finally collected, he put on his hat and tugged his belt up a bit.
"Now what is -- Oh goodness."
He saw the bloody scene of the werewolf leaning on her sword and the decapitated body with a crushed skull. she looked innocent enough, but the blood and sword told him otherwise. And then there was this girl hanging from the tree. She seemed to be doing something to her back as she held a small vial of something in front of her snout. She had a nervousness in her eyes that Namsu guessed at.
She must be in battle-pumped rage.
He made his way cautiously over, stepping with one foot out so that he moved towards them sideways. If she made any moves, he'd be ready. He gripped the staff in his hands.
"Is she okay? Is there anything I can do to help?"
He spoke to the hanging girl gently so as not to wake the wolf or infuriate her.
