SubonicXP RCCaughtem RC sighed. For as long as he lived, he would hate to think this of all things might take some years off his waning years. He follows Sub down to the Lab. "Here it is." Sub said as he walked up to a table in the lab, and picked up a glove-like device, similar to the Snag Machines but vastly different in design, more clunky appearing and unpolished. "It's kind of rough in design, but it should work as intended." He said as he slipped on the glove. "So, the meteorite is right over there." He said pointing to the rock on the table, that was next to the glove. "All you have to do is touch it, least that's how the chi got absorbed into others, by touch alone. Strangely enough I haven't been infected by it..." He shrugged. "Another mystery." RC listens to what Sub is saying. He goes to ask more, but decides against it. It was probably best to just get this over with. RC walks over to where the meteorite is. He picks it up, then turns to face Sub. Time to see what this tiny rock was all about.

He picks it up, then turns to face Sub. Time to see what this tiny rock was all about. "So...anything?" The Snagem leader would ask his hybrid subordinate. At first, nothing would happen, as far as RC could tell it was just another rock, that was until it hit him. Hybrids were different from humans, they were more sensitive to certain things, such as chi. The Rayquaza hybrid would be able to sense the foul chi attempting to invade his spirit. For him, it would be easy to tell that this chi was not normal, it was almost alive, and filled with malice, it was in essence, evil.

I have never sensed such vile chi. and with such spirit and malice! Nothing I have come across in my many years have had such a evil presence. Which now raises even more questions then it answers!" RC says. This would be a rare sight. usually RC was far more composed. So for him to become this unsettled, something really had to be off.

Sorry Sub, but that thing is far too dangerous for anyone to possess." RC explains to the young man. "Huh...fascinating." Sub said as he folded his arms and stared at RC. "So something corrupts those who comes in contact with the meteorite, that explains Io's madness. Though that begs a new question, what is corrupting them? Can chi really be sentient enough to be maleficent? And for what purpose would it corrupt someone? Kind of sounds like a virus or something, doesn't it?" He suggested.

I didn't feel that evil presence when I came into contact with her meteorite. I could only really sense the residue of my chi from my Draco Meteor. It was strange." RC explains.

Odd appeared out of the blue(has he been getting lessons from Sol on how to do this?), scratching his head in curiosity. "Eh.....Sub....do we have any other new members?" He asked of the dark-haired male. "I keep sensing a soul I don't recognize but........It doesn't belong to any of the members I know.....And it 's......um.....flickering?" He explained, trying to find the right word. "It's kinda there one minute and gone the next.....And then I sense it again a little while later and it's gone just as fast but I can tell one thing. This soul.....it's pure evil. It doesn't belong here......" He seemed genuinely disturbed by this presence that kept popping up on his developing spiritual radar only to escape detection again and again. Regardless, he'd put the thought aside for now when he noticed the stone on the floor across the room. "Isn't that the meteorite fragment we got from Io?" He asked as he walked over towards it, curious. "Find anything new about it?"

"Very strange indeed." Sub said to RC. It was then that Odd entered the room and made his equally strange observation. "Funny you would say that, Odd. It seems RC felt something similar, coming from the meteorite fragment. And yes, that is the same fragment that Io possessed." He assured Odd. "Other than apparently being evil? No." He admitted.

"Evil, you say?" Odd asked as he approached the stone a bit closer. "I don't sense anything out of the ordinary about it....It just seems like any other rock, to me." He announced as he examined the stone, reaching out for it as he did. What in the world could be so strange about a rock? Just that it's a rock from space shouldn't make it dangerous, should it? "You know, it's entirely possible that Io is just a crazy lady with a God complex that took a complete coincidence as the catalyst to jump head first over the edge, right?" He asked of Sub. There really wasn't any proof that Io hadn't been a channeler before she had become a blip on the criminal radar.
