I have to work today, and I have a check that I can't cash until tomorrow.

Y'know, I've figured out that work isn't actually all that bad. It is the waiting for it to begin, the dread and suspense, that sucks.

and the crab apples that come in to make you miserable...

I don't mind my job, it's my boss that sucks. She's a psychopath.

I have been out of a job for 3 months now... can't land a new one with the s**t bowl that the economy fell in to!

all the elderly are getting the jobs which sucks for a lot of reasons!

I was to start two new jobs until earlier today. Now I just have the one.

sounds like something did not turn out right?

The shifts couldn't coincide, so I stepped down from the part-time job in favor of the higher-paying full-time. Luckily they told me they'd let me know if any other positions opened.

that's great that you got everything lined up nicely.

I haven't gotten ANY call-backs from the people I've been applying for, and I've called each of them at least once about week after handing in my application.

Its all in the luck of the draw nowadays. You'll get a bite or two, just keep tryin'.

If I could just get an interview somewhere I know I'll get in, it's just so difficult now with absolutely no one hiring...
