i had a way there,but then my grandma got rid of her car and i no longer had a way there.

Take a bus.

the buses in the area do not go to the warehouse i was hired at.

That's why you should take a bus that drops you off nearby and then walk/ride a bike for the remaining distance.

i live on the edge of the bus system up here,i own no bike and the shift was gonna start at 5am,not possible to walk the 6 miles to the warehouse that early unfortunately.

Then you must not want it too bad if you're not willing to find a way. My friend walks 8 miles to and back just to work at wal mart...

Seriously. Before I had a car I took a bus and then walked the remaining four miles to work. That was at a movie theater, FYI. I wasn't exactly drowning in money.

Your first few days are for orientation. neutral I worked construction for 4 years and now I work at a metal forgery. You may not be good at it right away, and you have to be willing to do whatever it takes to get there, and whatever it takes to do the job. Employers like when people ask questions and show an effort to want to learn more about the job. and if you got the job, you could buy a bike, then save up more money and get a car. Employers aren't going to care about your situation, they just want you to do what they pay you to do. So my advice would to be take the job and walk if you have to because some money and having to walk is much better than no money. You seriously shouldn't be expecting sympathy because you don't want to walk and you don't have enough confidence in yourself. I don't mean this offensively, or that you don't want the job, but if you want it its your responsibility to show up and learn the ropes. Just because someone says something you don't exactly want to hear doesn't mean their against you. It's just Advice.

And it basically sums of my high school job experience. I saved money for a long time and bought a car, then traded that car in for a better car. I worked my a** off and walked a lot of miles, but at least I had money in my pocket and I didn't have to depend on others to take care of me.

I'm still a full time student, but now I'm a manager at a pizza place. Again, I'm not a rich person. I'm actually below the poverty level, but if I lost my job today I would work my a** off AGAIN in order to get another decent job so I could keep a roof over my head.

Like Mazzie said, you're full of a lot of excuses.
I'm not trying to be a d**k, and I don't want you to feel like we're attacking you, but you are full of negativity every time you come into this guild. :/

Seriously.... just shut up... Its not their responsibility to get you to your job. Its your job and your responsibility. Stop acting like a 12 year old already and take responsibility for your own actions.
