My Mac suddenly started running very slowly. It seems like everything happens 1-2 seconds after I tell it to. I'll click on something and then wait a couple seconds before it actually clicks.
Or sometimes my mouse seems to do nothing and things sorta freeze... and then everything happens at once. Sigh.
Any suggestions for solving this?/What might be causing this?

Dr. OCD My Mac suddenly started running very slowly. It seems like everything happens 1-2 seconds after I tell it to. I'll click on something and then wait a couple seconds before it actually clicks. Or sometimes my mouse seems to do nothing and things sorta freeze... and then everything happens at once. Sigh. Any suggestions for solving this?/What might be causing this? My guess would be either you need a new mouse, or you got a bug.

Because I don't know why I'd need to replace my trackpad.
