Boba Fett could fly a Star destroyer solo.
Cale's cruiser is half that size and he's got the force.
He's no mando, but he might be able to pull it off.

I doubt Boba did any shooting though while piloting that star destroyer. After all, if Cale managed to keep up with the fighters somehow, he'd still have to destroy them in combat...
