Star Wars focuses on things that cannot be quantified or scientifically explained.. the Force, Destiny, the bonds that draw people together and drive them apart, the strength of will that propels Good to strike down Evil even when the odds are astronomically low.
Star Trek focuses on exploration, on the attempt to understand and quantify what can be observed, and is very much entrenched in pure logic and empiracism.
I vastly prefer the former, because it allows a lot more breathing room for creativity, while in Trek, everything is basically outlined for us, the utilization is the focus.
But anyway, yeah, been doing SWRP in Second Life. Thought I'd check back here.
