Lore stood in the clearing once more besides Mobius. Wearily, she glanced around, not seeing anyone. It made her edgy.

Shishuri ran up, panting. "Run... Now! Ryukai... Vampiric side..."

[They didn't leave? Oh.]  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

Mobius turned his head swiftly, sniffing the night air. "Something's wrong... something's gone horribly, horribly wrong. The scent of disatser is in the air. We have to run, now!"  

[Demonic Repentance]

Shishuri gasped. "He's lost it..." He turned to face Mobius. "RUN! NOW!" She screamed. "HE'S COMPLETELY LOST IT! RUN!"

Mobius sprouted his wings, and took Lore into his arms, taking to the sky. As much as he hated to use the city below as a diversion, he couldn't deal with this threat, and Lore needed to be safe....

Everything happened in a rush. Lore let out a little mousy "eep!" of surprise and curled against Mobius as best she could, her hair taking on a faint nervous glow.  

[Demonic Repentance]

Ryukai came through, his form changed monstrously.

Mobius was crying as he flew. "I'm sorry Lore... I may have saved you as well as myself, but I left behind so many innocents to do it. Now they're all going to be slaughtered by my selfishness..."

Lore looked up at him with wide eyes. One of his tears fell on her eyelid and rolled down her cheek. Her eyes softened, and suddenly it felt as if Mobius hit a soft cushiony wall. Lore started to float from his arms, the same eerie green glow spreading from her hair to the rest of her body. Lore was now floating in front of him, looking as normal as ever. Her eyes were glowing an intense green. Her hand reached out to carress his face. Her eyes had a slightly glazed look. She didn't know she was consciously using her abilities that had started to resurface after Kaluke's appearence. "You're not selfish...just loving," she whispered.  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

"But... So many innocents will die because of my actions!" His face bore the look of a scared child.  

[Ry Dusk Nikolai]

Lore stared into his face, her eyes then started to glow more intensely then before. "No, they won't!" She whispered fiercely this, before soaring past him towards the direction of Ryukai.  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

"NO! I WON'T LOSE YOU!" He flew after her. He's protect her... even if it meant his death...

Lore continued to fly from him, ignoring his pleas and cries.

He flew up high. If he were to catch up, he'd have to use the speed diverted from a dive...
