The dots disappear. He towers over her, still crying. "Sleep... I can't even sleep anymore! I can't drift off or he'll torture me in my own head! I can't rest from this nightmare even for one second." He sighs. "You eased my pain, but now I'll make it all go away..." He walked to the edge of a cliff, and looked down. "There awaits my freedom. I am sorry if I caused anyone trouble... especially you..." He prepared to step off...

Not quite understanding what Megaman said, he smiled weakly at Sapphire. "Thanks..." He turned towards the creature. His eyes completely turned red, and he began to drool. Every drop hissed as it touched the earth. Hes wiped his tongue across his lips eagerly and ran toward the creature on all fours.

The creature swung it's arm down against the earth, and Atsuma saw his chance. He jumped on the arm, dug in his hands and feet, and sunk his teeth right in.

Th virus attempted to swat him off when he fell, taking most of the arm with him. In shock, it stepped back, watching Atsuma eating the arm ravenously, as if he had nothing else to eat in three months. The virus ran away, lucky to have it's life. Atsuma turned after a few bites, eyes focused on Sapphire, as if to say "I'm sorry for what I've become. I hope you can forgive me in your heart, though I don't expect you to." Then, he continued to feed, spreading data every which way, tearing chunks of digital flesh with sickening snapping sounds.
