You see, during the summer, I went to a fortune teller and they told me that once I held a position of authority, I would fall. I didn't think it literally meant fall, but I guess it did. Anyways, I needed to see who the new captain would be and you didn't react the way I expected. If you reacted well and took it I was going to give you the captainship," he said, looking at her. He couldn't muster a smile, but he chuckled.

"And is that so? May I ask why?" he said, now being able to smile at her.

Remy nodded at Jayden. She waited for him to finish, then he asked why her arms couldn't be fixed."I have a... blood disorder? That's why I was in the hospital for a week at the beginning of this year." she lied. Luckily, Jayden didn't have access to her medical card, even as acting captain. She tugged her sleeves down and blushed a furious red.

"Is that the famous Remy blushing? Now how did I pull that one off? Maybe I did actually accomplish something this year," he joked, smiling at her. He thought she was cute, but of course, his new girlfriend probably wouldn't want him saying that to her. He felt as if Newlyn had secret spies everywhere among the first years. He was surprised. Jayden was popular, but yet he still didn't have quite the amount of friends that his first year girlfriend had. It was a tad embarrassing.

"And I remember that, you killed me by not being at practice that whole week. I was supposed to work with you that week. But I guess we can do it this summer sometime. I'll get my brother to coach you. You know, the professional Quidditch player. That is only if you want to do that," he joked, smiling at her.

Remy blushed a bit brighter. "I'm not blushing!" she squealed, covering her face. Wait... Did Jayden just offer her a PROFESSIONAL QUIDDITCH PLAYER?! "A-a professional? To train me?!" she said, excitement shining through her worry. Her eyes seemed to glow even brighter, and her brace-less teeth were finally exposed in her smile.

"Oh, I think you are blushing. I didn't say it wasn't cute," he said, smiling at her. He than watched her excitement when he said his brother would teach her. He knew his brother would because his brother always went around doing these private lessons.

"Yeah, my bother is a professional player and he expressed interest in teaching you. He said you showed major potential last time he came to see us play. He said you were very good and wanted to see what you can do," he told Remy. It was the truth. He had said this in the last letter that he had sent Jayden. So, he figured that he should find out if she wanted to learn from him.

And maybe we can help you practice to be that great. he said to her. "I don't think you know that I myself was being scouted to be in the pros. So is William. We have all said you got what it takes, but you need to be fine tuned. So, why not learn from the best, just like my brother and I did?" he said to her, smiling, glad to see her excitement. She was happy to see that she was interested. Really, it was another reason for him to spend time with her too, without getting too much heat from his girlfriend.

Caitlin wiped her eyes when Sam sat her down. She hiccuped slightly before looking at Sam, "I-I didn't doubt you..." She whispered, then blew a strand of hair from her eyes. Cait sniffled, then stood up and went to the girl's dormitory to change. A few minutes later, she appeared again in leggings, an oversized sweater, slippers, and a messy bun to top it off. She hoped Sam was still there, Cait didn't quite feel like going to sleep yet. Maybe they could just talk...

Caitlin sat down next to Sam. Rather, laid down. Her head laid in his lap. Cait closed her eyes. "Thank you..." She whispered, taking his hand in her's. Caitlin played with his fingers, listening to the soothing sound of the crackling fire. She rather liked that sound. She hadn't been able to hear it in a while. Just because she hadn't been home.
