Wurd. emotion_brofist Yes, about $40 each Day or $100 for a Three-Day-Pass IS abit much. THEN you have "Travel Expenses' " if the Con is not Local. If it is Local then you have to find a Parking Spot and remember where you parked. ^^; After all of that, You have to make sure you brought alot of batteries and memory cards to take pictures AND $$$ for any Souvenirs and Edibles. sweatdrop

That's usually why I set myself a budget and don't bring a card with me, only a finite amount of cash. It's a good way to stop over spending. I don't have a car so I usually just take the train or a tram depending on the location.

Which leads to the other part of "Travel Expenses' ".... Hotel Room. ^^; That is; unless, you have a friend/ relative that lives near the Convention.

Sid the Bear You don't have to stick to one hobby. You can try a whole bunch of different things! Problem solved! Yea, that's unfortunate. Humans are born with backbones and should act like they have one. Or else we might as well be jellyfish. I just don't get people who act like doormats. True, but what if in doing so you find yourself with a thousand and one different hobbies you really enjoyed doing and then have the issue of not wanting to let any of them go, but not having the time for all of them? (completely unrelated picture) While I do agree with this..I'm also partially part of the guilty party, as someone who's probably too passive a person.

People have likes and dislikes. And even if that does happen, I see no issue with you dabbling in whatever hobby you are in the mood for in a certain moment. Dedication isn't really needed since a hobby's main purpose is to waste some free time. It's never to late to change it. Start being more assertive (but not agressive!) today!
