The Mountain

"A great shelter" she agreed. "Does the sun enter this cave?" she asked, wondering. Maybe she would be able to sleep here each day. It had a great view of the mountains and horizon.

Dru got back on her feet. It was never good to sit doen and not know the land. There could be someone watching you. She continued with her ascent up the mountain. She whimpered a little at the rain pounding on her back but its not like she had a choice in the matter.

Almirrah saw the wolf again, closer this time. She noticed that the wolf was young, and somewhat upset. "Hey Slighter, look. Maybe she needs some aid?" Almirrah stated, wondering what to do. "what do you think we should do?"

 

[Slighter]

Slighter shook his head. "Nope. It onyl set over there ut minumum lght comes in." He said looking abckc down at the wolf. "yeah lets go help her." SLiughter siad has he slowly climbed down the moutain to the other wolf.
 

[Canae]

Dru stopped in her tracks again and looked up at the sky again. Then she snapped. She barked, growled, jumped, and just threw a fit at the rain. The rain was beating at her back. She wasn't cold or anything, the rain was just annoying.

Almirrah nodded and began to walk towards the other wolf (Dru). She wondered what the poor girl had been through, and how they might be able to help. She consentrated on reducing the heavy downpour and succeeded inmaking it into a mere drizzle.

Slighter Followed her down slowly has he looekd around at the mudd around him.

eek confused What kind or rain is this? Could of swore it was just pouring a few seconds ago...Dru thought to herself as she continued up the mountain.

After about a half a mile, Dru could smell other wolves, close, in the area. She stoped and bowed her head in the direction were thier scent came from.

Almirrah stopped and looked back to let Slighter catch up a bit. She looked back at Dru, then at the sky. The moon was up, a half moon this night. She winced at its cheesy grin amongst the stars. I'd better hunt a bit more soon or I'll never be able to sleep through the day she sighed, looking back to see if Slighter caught up yet.

 

[Slighter]

Slighter was not back at her side looking around at ahead at the wolf. "Hello." SLighetr said ahs he approached her.

Dru could acutally see the wolves now. There were two of them, a male and a female. They must be the alphs... Dru quickly ducked her tail between her legs and rolled over on her back.

Almirrah decided to greet the wolf as well. "Good evening to you. Can we aid you in any way?" she said, staying near Slighter.

 

[Slighter]

Slighter looekd at the wolf and then up at the sky whihc kept raining and stopping.. Slighter then looked around at hthe otehr wolf and sat a few yards away from her.

Dru turned back around and backed away a little. "I would like to join your pack. If its alright with the alpha's of course." Dru put her head on her paws and looked up at the female wolf.
