I may be several years older than I was while I was super active here, but I still miss everyone that made this place feel like home.

My show, Bye Bye Birdie, came to a close on Saturday. It was really sad because it was the first time I had a big role in a musical. I normally don't do musicals. But the director took a chance on me (even though I botched my audition by singing my piece an octave too low) and he gave me a ton of confidence not only in experimenting with characters, but singing in front of people as well. It is going to be hard to let go of this show, but I am happy that I'm walking away with a huge boost in confidence and an amazing experience.

So i know i'm not super active here; but i didn't really know where else to talk about this. Something fairly large happened in my life, and i'm rather excited about it.

I finally came out as an MtF to 3 of my closest friends,a nd they were all very supportive. For once in my life i don't feel bad for being me, or wanting to you know, go through with things.

That's amazing. heart

I sure thought so =D although the next big step is telling my mom, so i would be able to start transitioning before i'm out on my own xD;

And of course the at least 10 other friends who don't know who i would like to at some point inform. But its a start! =U

I would just like to say that I have accepted numerous join requests in the past week (about six, I believe). This is incredible seeing as we usually get one every other month.

My tummy has been growling since 10:00 last night, I have a nasty cold, sore throat, headache, and I only got three hours of sleep. I have a 4 page (minimum) paper due at 4:00 today, but I'm busy from 9:30-4.

Also I feel like I'm going to throw up.

P.S. I think I've decided that I want to be a crisis counselor slash LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) and possibly be a volunteer firefighter in my free time.
