Dr. OCD But wait the most important day is right now because it's April Fool's Day. My girlfriend's roommates have already pulled too many pranks. Put all the right shoes by the front door and the left ones by the back door. Glued a quarter to the back steps (which was really sad because I thought I found a quarter to pay for laundry). I dunno what else they've done. I like them mrgreen ...

My girlfriend's 21st birthday is on Saturday. She got a limo (because she's ridiculous) and she really wants to get her first tattoo on that day. I told her I'd go with her and I actually might be getting another tattoo (third for me).
The first tattoo I ever thought of getting was a spade (like the card symbol). It has a long, personal story behind it. Anyway, I haven't gotten it yet so I figured I should. It would just be small and would be on the top of my big toe. If it's not too small, I want it to look old, weathered. What do y'all think?

My cousin who is a totooist (yup he made mine also a long story) said that toes and fingers are reather difficult to tatoo on (and heal afterwards without loosing the shape) because of joints... And, well: toes... If you are wearing socks and warm shoes and stuff it can get quite messy and infected... It's best with open toes types of shoes, but You need to be very carefull not to injure it and keep it clean... The idea is cool but maybe think about all the details before You do it... And be very sure that the tatoo person who makes it is really good at what they do (well I guess that goes for every tatoo wink )...

Nice. I just got my first tat about a week ago. Pretty awesome, huh? This picture was taken the day after I got it, so it's healed some since then and probably looks better now, but I'm too lazy to take another picture. Great artist. I'll definitely go back to him again.

Sadly my girlfriend did not get cast in Les Mis, which is what that audition video was for. The story is, in a nutshell, when I was really young I was at my cabin with my whole family. I have eleven brothers and sisters (there were only ten at the time) and I, at the time, was the youngest. We have no technology at our cabin, so we're forced to hang out and play board/card games. We were playing hearts and my dad was just about to shoot the moon and I had the Ace of Spades in my hand and I played it and stopped him. My whole family was smiling and hugging me and, as dumb as it sounds, it's the last memory I have of my family being truly happy together. Thanks for the info about toe/finger tattoos. That is good to know. Maybe I will rethink the placement.

That is good to know. Maybe I will rethink the placement. I'm sure something will pop out sooner or later - she was great! Why dumb? If I try to think of a time my whole family was happy together I cannot find even one single moment... Sure there were ones when some parts of it were happy but then the others were not... And You could be totally happy when left with one or two of them alone, but with everybody at the same time at the same place - never happend... Or at least not when I was alive and around... I think it's an amazing memory to have tatooed! No problem, it's just that my cousin is a passionate person and when he starts talking about work it's hard to shut him up so I (and the part of the family he speaks with) know more about tatoos than I wish to know... Seriously he even shows people the pictures of tatoos that were not taken well care off and got infected and stuff emotion_puke ...
