Equilibrium proved to be an interesting watching experience. Deffinitely a good action film. Christain Bale is everywhere nowadays. Like hes the new Tom Cruise.
And whats from with Donna Noble? Shes spunky and a redhead. Whats not to like?

Oh! The guy who played deadpool in wolverine... any other time i can remember his name...
And Donna is arrogant, loud, and reminds me of a toned down version of my mother on the rag. She's a bookkeeper who couldn't even keep a job, much less bring anything useful to the Doctor's travels short of a 'woman's perogative'. Beyond that, if I must also add, she's not much of a looker, and rather snobbish about everything she has one ounce of information in.
At least martha was a medical doctor and Rose had connections out the wazoo, along with being smart on her feet.

Things really are just merits to you, aren't they?

Nelowulf You're rather shallow, aren't you? No, but I'm not going to seriously analyze a characters personality to determine wether I like them or not and then compare her to what her predecessors did. Thats not what I'm getting into. Shes hot, and I like her personality. I'm not looking at merits, because that doesnt matter. I like Donna, I hated Martha, and I liked Rose. And don't you call me racist because that has nothing to do with it. See, by the way your thinking, that makes you the shallow one here.

Really? Because i don't qualify good or bad with "Hotness"? Reread your statement and tell me again why I'm racist? Because apparantly that's where you're going... 'cause I wasn't even considering skin tone until you brought it up.

I said don't call me racist because I didn't like Martha and liked the other two.

Yes. I'm shallow because instead of inspecting their personality, their skills, their attitude, their potential, their own myriad of things, I choose not to go by a single qualifyer, which is "Can it give me an erection and j** my pants".
You've taken sexist chauvinism to it's pinnacle, des.

Right. My point was, I'm not judging them by their merits, because I see that as being shallow, not giving one a chance because of their achievements, nor am I going to compare them to predecessors, because that just isn't fair, or relevant for that matter. Just because Donna Noble isn't a a doctor or exactly very bright doesn't make her any worse of a character than Martha or Rose.
And I just happen to like Redheads, and her smile. She has a very nice smile. And I think shes rather funny and that Catherine Tate is a delightful actor. No, I've just taken the freedom of personal preference to its pinnacle to make an argument of it.

Yeah. It is. It means you refuse to look at anything but the outside, no matter how much the entire package might influence you. Bullshit all you want des, you know that you're just doing this for the sake of arguement.
Shallow means "not deep". It's about as much of a moral issue as beign a biggot about sex, race, economic status, or whatnot. And you, my buddy, know that. The sad part is that you really dont' want to admit it right now, because you've got some crusade to fight.
