Darksol88 "Yeah..." Aden was quick to follow suit, picking up the tray that held an empty bowl. He looked to the pocket of his vest for a second, reminding himself to discuss the prospect of having a TM used to Nidoran. After stashing my own tray where it was supposed to be, I made my way off back towards the front. I was a bit astounded to say the least really. Already, only one day later, Aden is going back for round two against the Violet City Gym. I made my way to the front desk, waiting on Aden to show up to retrieve his Pokemon.

Aden would only be a few seconds behind, TM in hand. He figured he'd cut to the chase once he retrieved his Pokemon.

After a few words with the nurse, the nurse handed Aden his Pokeballs, containing his Pokemon back. "As usual, your Pokemon are still in good health. They seem to be a bit anxious, like something's coming." She said. "Aden here is about to take part in a gym battle again, hoping things will go better this go round." I said. "Ah, that must be it." she said. "Well good luck to you."

"I think I've got one little edge, though." Aden spoke up, stashing each of the balls into his vest. "And thanks... here, let me take this outside." He hurried outside at once, looking at the TM as he withdrew Nidoran's Pokeball.

I looked at Aden as he made his way out of the Center in a hurry. I gave a bit of a laugh to myself then followed out at my own pace instead of trying to keep up with Aden. Looks like he is a bit on the committed side to teach someone that Shockwave move.

By the time Blizzard came out, he would see Aden sitting on the ground. His Nidoran was in front of him, having been let out and starting their talks. There, understandably, was a bit of confusion and needed explanations. Even after that, Nidoran wasn't too crazy at the idea and went so far as to ask if he was really going to take a disc to the head.
"I don't think you're going to feel that much. It just has to go through is all. It'd probably be like chi going in to you or something, I guess."
Still not too crazy, and in fact, Nidoran was going to turn around until Aden cut him off. "Here, just try it." And before he could respond, the disc found its way to his head, his horn going through the convenient hole at its center. "You can thank me later."
What came next sounded like a sudden whirring, and the TM literally spun as it did its work. Nidoran did indeed feel a slight surge, perhaps something in preparation of the move's learning. It turned into more of a light shock, then faded as the TM stopped. It was dim compared to earlier, a sign that it had been used up.
"Ni..." A question of why, as Aden removed the TM.
"Sorry, I didn't think you'd go for it without finding out firsthand."
"Do ni!" Cue an unexpected unleash, with Aden coming out a little shocked in more ways than one.
"...Ow... come on now, I don't suck."

On the plus side though, at least I know now Aden is actually trying to work with his Pokemon a bit closer. He was better understanding of what they were saying. "Well, it can't be all that bad, can it?" I asked as I crossed my arms.

Finding that to be a more promising idea, Nidoran gladly accepted and was recalled. "Note to self, try not to be the target of new moves being learned and used."

Those Thundershocks from Mareep will more than likely will not be the last time he'll see a Thundershock anywhere, and they will probably be of a bother until he finally evolves to a Nidoking." I said. "Until which time...yea." I said. "Anyways, lets get going."

I said to him. "Well, we'll just see then, Aden." See indeed. It wasn't long before we were at the front door once again of the Violet City Gym. I opened the door and held it open for Aden to go inside.
