"Not even a day old, yet," Keiko said with a smile. "She hatched a minute or two before I joined. Oh, hey, Odd!" she added, looking to the white-haired teen.

"He didn't seem to mind," Keiko seemed to shrug.

It took Happiny a moment to notice skitty, tired as she was from following Keiko on foot. Once the baby notices Skitty, however, she starts playing along with the cat.

"Well, I told him about how I go from location to location on my own, back when I was a courier, without any pokemon. I'm pretty good at getting from place to place undetected," she explained herself.

Happiny thought Kitten's tail was the funniest thing in the world, and had the time of her life trying to catch it as it bobbed up and down in front of her face.

Kairi shrieked when she was suddenly picked up and twirled around, not used to being picked up like that. Too shocked to even glare at him for picking her up, she just scowled until she was put down. "I wouldn't expect apologies like that too often," she muttered, smirking at him. Kairi actually felt happy, something she rarely felt, and she couldn't help but crack one of her very rare smiles, the scowl having been replaced. All her resentment towards Reno had disappeared, making room for her gentler emotions towards him, the ones that no matter how much she might want to, she would never talk about, for fear of losing her best friend if things got screwed up along the way. "Hey Reno..?" she began to speak, but changed her mind, not wanting to ask what she desperately wanted to know. She was quiet now, just watching Reno, still smiling at him.

Renata understood what it was the Sneasel wanted and her ears lowered. The female Nidoran went racing after Tsuki, trying to catch her friend.

Reno felt his typical smirk paint his face when he witnessed one of the rare sights of his day. Kairi smiling was like seeing a calm and peaceful Tyrogue. Not impossible, but the chances of it happening were next to none. "Just one is all I need ta know its possible." Reno quipped to her first bit of talking, with a mental fist pump accentuating the thought of getting her to smile. Hearing her start a sentence, he listened to her stutter and stop midway. "Somethin you want ta talk about?" his voice held slight concern, as he watched for her reaction.

Tsuki watched the little Nidoran's ears droop as she ran. Unsure how to react, she decided to just let the small Pokemon tackle her. standing in front of the small Poison Pin Pokemon, Tsuki began to give motions for the little Nidoran to tackle her.

"Awesome!" Odd replied, examining the paper Keiko showed him. "What's this?" He asked, though he was soon distracted by her question. "Well no....not exactly. She's taken to wandering off on her own lately and she's got a bit of a reputation for hiding in plain sight." He admitted. "Being a Ghost-type and all, she could be hiding in the walls and we'd never know it until....."

He trailed off for a moment as something tripped in his field of vision. "Ah ha!" He declared as he rushed a wall nearby and punched it as hard as physically possible(for him, of course). "Frrrriiiiiiiiiil!" A familiar, pink, tentadorable Pokemon phased out of the wall at that, the loud echoing of the bang Odd's punch had made scaring her out. "I thought I felt you in there." He told the Frillish as he grabbed her and wrapped her up in a hug. "No more spying, ok?" He told her as he walked over to Keiko once again, trying to prevent the wriggling Ghost-type from escaping before she simply phased through his arms and ran off up the stairs.

She looked away, her eye searching for anything else to look at, but her gaze kept wandering back to Reno's face and she sighed, shaking her head slightly. "It's nothing, don't worry about it. Forget I said anything, alright?" Kairi's smile faded slightly as she spoke, and she wondered if she had made the right choice in not telling Reno what was on her mind. But she knew that with her tone of voice, that there was no way that Reno would believe her when she said that it was nothing. Finally, she gave up on trying to keep her secret entirely. "I guess... I was just thinking about how much I love spending time with you. You're the only one besides my pokemon that I truly care about, y'know? I missed you a lot, obviously, otherwise I probably wouldn't have joined up here..." her voice trailed off, unsure of what else to say. She wondered if he was able to tell what she was feeling, and so her head tilted slightly in her curiosity as she watched Reno, gauging his reaction to what she had said.

Renata watched Tsuki's movements, wondering quite what it was the other pokemon was trying to tell her. Finally she realized what it was, and she took a running start before leaping at the Sneasel once more.
