Caffiene headaches could be a sign of withdrawl, if you got off regular recently, which i doubt is the case.
Personally, i never advocate taking drugs except in the worst case scenario, due to your oxidization learning ability in the liver, or mroe commonly known as "tolerance". Aspirin doesn't ever get a tolerance, but if you're under 18, you can get reye syndrome, i believe, if it's too often, which is rare.
To answer the lime question, it's because of an organic compound which I wish i could remember the name of. It can also be produced synthetically, however, in short, it's found in most fruit. Generally, the effects are dependent upon the receptors and the organic alignment of the molecule, so depending on what you enjoy smelling might change things, but lime isn't strong. Strong citrus tends to aggrovate, while the milder stuff adds a soothing effect, because it's "nice". In short, you trick your mind to relax and you let the painkillers your body naturally produce actually take effect.
@ EK: Caffiene is a natural stimulant. so will nicotine. The cause is the increased dialysis caused by the stimulant. thus, wider blood vessels, less pressure, less pain on the brain.
Overall, though, I think the headache is simply brought on by stress. the massage wouldnt' get rid of it automatically, although it'll shorten it's duration. Consider that a lot of college students get headaches during finals. Too much stress.

It`s been a few months since I cut caffeine intake substantially. I still drink it every now and then, but not like I use to. I haven`t gotten a caffeine headache in weeks though, it feels different from this.
I can`t take aspirin, I`m allergic to it, so I usually take a Tylenol or something if it gets to the point where I can`t focus. The lime bit helped, and thank you for explaining it to me. I was curious why it helps with the ache.
I`m not too sure why I`d be having a stress-related headache, I`m not very stressed out right now, so it`s confusing. And I just like the feeling of being touched.. not even in a sexual way, it`s just relaxing.. O_o;
But I`m gonna hop in the shower, maybe the heat will help some.
