"Well..."
"Yeah, Tails, don't you like me?" Klonoa teased.
Tails huffed. He knew Klonoa liked to push buttons. He didn't know whether or not he was ever serious. "Klonoa's just...weird. And more childish than Miles, for how old he is."
Klonoa stuck his tongue out and said, "Boo on you."

"Where would we go?" Tristen asked, looking at Tails. "And I guess while they do their thing, what is it that you want to discuss with me, Jules?" I asked.

Klonoa giggled, but said nothing.
As Tails stepped outside, he crossed his arms. It had been warming, but not by much. He wanted to look for a place close-by, first. "If not here, there's always back in Hyda," he said. "Or Hoenn. Hoenn's pretty diverse. There's a place that's always raining, too."
"I'll want some data, first," Jules began. "What kinds of things have you encountered? And how organized is the group you're fighting? I guess the important thing is if the threat's big enough, there's no sense in me running an op I might not be able to a month, a week down the line."

Tristen asked curiously. Hot springs, a desert, and now a place that always seem to rain? "Well I can only tell you about what I have heard and experienced here Jules, for the most part. And basically what has happened up to this point. But rest assured, the threat seems to be pretty big. Here we can talk in the kitchen if you care to. I need a Coke anyhow." I said.

Sub and Poe reappear back at HQ, his Sableye was exhausted from such excessive usage of Shadow Sneak. "Meh...I need to sleep...he...he..." He said falling over onto the ground snoring. "Sorry about that buddy, return." Sub said recalling the Pokemon to its ball and headed into the kitchen. "What do we have to drink...what's this?" He said grabbing a green can. "Mt. Silver Dew? Wonder who bought these." He said with a shrug cracking open the can and chugging it down.

RC soon arrived at the HQ. He recalls his Gardevoir and enters. It probably wouldn't take long for Sub to find him.

As Sub exited the kitchen with his drink in hand he immediately spotted the black dragon of the team. It was hard to miss him honestly, even though he was black as night he stood out like a sore thumb. "Hey RC, sure was a thrill ride back there huh?"

He said sitting down himself, on one of the recliners. "Yeah, how did you know about my name? Or should I say, my alias. Plus you talk about old days, things in the past, in very cryptic manners. Is there some sort of secret you're hiding? Sorry if I seem to forward but no one should know about my name, no one. It shocks me that you do."

"Not so much of a secret as I have seen it all before just with different people playing the parts. It's amazing how over the many years I lived some things have changed very little and others have changed quite abit. I knew a man, when I was younger, who was just like you. you have several of his mannerisms and apparently his love of explosions as well. and I think you carry his not only his pseudonym but his actual name as well." RC explains. "You can confirm or deny this if you so wish it." he adds.

"I know, it seems so strange to me, too. Maybe it's that it's a volcanic island in just the right spot and is just the right shape to funnel the moisture in a single spot," Tails gestured. He continued out into the sleet outside, and his warm aura was stronger than usual; this was to find mud beneath his feet. So close to the mountain, however, he knew he wouldn't.
"Coke, huh? I don't drink soda," Jules said. He followed Blizz into the kitchen, arms crossed, eyes closed. "The acids aren't good for your bones. All they do is slow you down, no matter what kind you drink."

"Well it isnt like I tend to drink them in the droves...as much as I may like to." I said. "Really as of late, I'd be lucky if I can get one or two a week since it gets kind of crazy with what going on and all. Its been water on the go, actually." I said, opening the fridge and taking out one. "Sweet carbonated bliss. Anyways, have a seat, Jules, because you're in for a bit of a story, I suppose." Tristen looked at Tails, tilting his head. He felt the heat coming off of him. "Tails, what are you doing?"

Jules took up a seat and kicked up a leg. "Alright, Blizzard. Lay it on me."
"Looking for mud," Tails answered. "And keeping you warm. It's sleet, so it's at least warmer than usual. But it'll still be cold for you. If you fall into something, don't panic. It's either deep snow, ice that broke, or hopefully, some mud. Either way, I'll keep you warm."

"Well, let me ask you this much. You heard about the flood in Cherrygrove and the freak snowstorm in Mahogany?" I asked as I sat down at the table. "Oh, ok." Tristen said as he watched. He did feel pretty warm being around Tails for that matter. But could he keep him warm on a constant basis while in freezing cold mud? He could only wonder...

"Yeah, I heard of that. The news never announced anything but freak weather though," Jules confirmed.
Tails stay on the path south, and when the path veered east he stayed south. From previous wanderings, he knew ponds spotted the area. For a long time, it was too cold to try to learn if the ground was too hard to liquefy. Now, at least, the ground underfoot was soggy. Winter was ending, and mount Silver was further south than Mahogany. Winter couldn't end soon enough though...
He grabbed Tristen's hand in case one of them fell through a pond.
