Growing up, Rehema was quite the tomboy. She was determined to prove that she was just as valuable as any of her brothers. Her family shared a close friendship to the family of Mwali and Koho. Her best friend and sparring partner, Malik, kept her sharp and constantly tested both her patience and her skill. As she grew, she was determined to become the head huntress of the pride lands. However, when one of Malik’s siblings was kidnapped by a member of the firekin, her plans went astray. Wounded by Mwali shortly after a search party was issued, she and Malik retreated to the mountains to recover. There she met Ona and fell fast in love with him and his homeland. Malik and Rehema went their separate ways- Malik to serve in the firekin rebellion and support the uprising rebels and Rehema to help rebuild the Shadow Clan. While she remains strong-willed and stubborn, she’s become more of a mother and less of a fighter. She’s fiercely loyal to her family, her clan, and the pride itself.
Plots?
Do want:
- Rehema is very family-oriented, so any rp with her offspring or distant relations would be awesome. She’s very much the motherly sort, but she’s the ‘cool mom’ that has an impish side. She’d likely be the ‘fun aunt’ as well.
- I’d like some trouble to befall some of her offspring for her to drive off. Perhaps a rival?
- Rehema has a disliking for firekin in general. An encounter with one, or a former firekin, would be interesting!
Do not want:
- A mate, she’s happily mated to Ona.
-Flings! She’s devoted to her life mate.
- A new pride. She’s not going anywhere.
- Death.

 Rehema was born to a litter of five, birthed between Sukutu and Jasiri. A former Firekin slave and an orphaned cub raised by Koho, a prideland huntress. The two were almost destined to meet. Similar attitudes, similar coloring, similar ambitions. The litter was birthed at the same time as a larger litter born to Mwali, a close friend if Jasiri and her liberator from the firekin, and Koho, the lioness who took Sukutu in after being orphaned. The two families, needless to say, were very close to each other. The cubs were raised close to one another, cared for by both lionesses and protected fiercely by both fathers. Of the cubs, Rehema took to Malik the best. Mwali’s largest, most brutal son strangely enough. Even as a cub she didn’t tolerate being weaker than a male and would often wrestle and scrap with the young Malik to establish just that. |

Sept.21, 2007 - Kimerra & Thalion Kim:
Ona'raha was busy doing what he did best...lazing around. The day was cooler than it had been and rain clouds were gathering at the peaks of the mountains. For the first time in a long time he wondered where the other lions were that he had met. There had been that white femme, the black Ela and then...the other black Ela. He definately needed to meet up with them again sometime, maybe even introduce them to his friends. Luckily, they were all females so he didn't have to get possessive over Rehema. Strange...he never thought he'd be the possessive type.Now, Ona was snuffling through the flowers, trying desperately to find the perfect place to lounge.
Thal:
Nearby, Ona would hear playful and perhaps even not-so-playful growls from both the chocolate lioness and Malik. They were constantly testing eachother. Batting eachother around with velvet paws, pouncing, tackling, wrestling, and sometimes even playing what might have beena more extreme version of tag. Neither liked to lounge much. Malik was mroe likely to take a few naps during the day than Rehema was. She always had to have something to do. Sitting around made her anxious. Even when she slept she'd growl or kick her paws around as she dreamt of the hunt. Malik just snored...loudly.
Kim:
Ona, obviously rather different to his two rambuntious comrades, did hear them and he smiled. Rehema. What was it about her that he loved? He couldn't quite put his paw on it. He decided that he loved so many things about her it was hard to distinguish. All he knew was that she made him feel fuzzy and warm inside like no other. He rolled on the ground, getting flowers caught in his mane and parted his jaws.
He roared a roar his father would have been proud of. A sound that seemed strange coming from such strange a lion.
Then he sat up and scratched behind one ear. A flea? Oh he hoped not.
Thal:
Both Malik and Rehema froze in their game at his roar. Rehema had a moutful of Malik's ear and Malik's mouth was wide open in an attempt to bite onto the lioness' tail-obviously a failed attempt. They both seemed kind of suprised to hear Ona roar.
Malik couldn't help but laugh, even with Rehema's jaws having his ear it was pretty damn funny. A good roar, but the kid had -flowers- on him. That kinda killed it right there.
Rehema kind of bopped him upside the head as she stepped away, releasing his ear. "That was pretty good. You've been practicing?"
Kim:
He glanced at Malik in confusion. What was so funny? Then he stood and again, his smaller appearance was made apparent as he approached his friends. It seemed strange to think that actually, he was small, when he was similar in size to his father. (As a cub he had thought his father huge).
"Yup!" He announced cheerfully. "My father told me that I gotta have a good roar to be a real lion." He curled his tail proudly. "I think I'm a real lion now. I can hunt and I can roar." He beamed then flung himself at Malik, desperate to wrestle him to the ground. That was doubtful, considering Malik was almost a good head taller than him.
