Shouta was now conversing with Hanzo.

"And you see, your forces will be here. We will be coming in through here. You should use this formation, but I'm sure that you could draw enough attention either way."

"Hmmm... yes. Is it true when I hear that Fuma Kotaro walks the battlefield?"

"...Unfortunately.'

"Then I shall slay him first! That will draw the most attention!"

"Why don't you turn water into sake while you're at it?"

"Maybe I will, if that's how you feel!"

They both had a good laugh.

"How many men are at my disposal?"

"50 Ronin, 300 mercenaries, 200 civilian warriors, and 50 of ou lowest ranking nin."

"600... And what are their numbers?"

"...They have 1500 strong."

"Good! I want the battle to last!"

Kenshin was walking around the front of the dojo and saw his student listening to something from near the well. "What are you doing?" Kenshin asked in a suspicious tone.

Kenshin heard the words '$50,000' and his ears pricked. He had to listen more.

Kenshin nodded showing he understood. Still, $50,000 was a lot of money. He wanted to know more.

"Right," Kenshin whispered, "but be quiet about it, this one does not wan't to trouble the two men speaking." By this he meant that he did not wan't he two men talking to know they were eavesdropping.
