Glock 19 or 23 Perfect zombie killin guns.
So a gun that stovepipes a lot is a good idea?
This is news to me.
My brother's put hundreds of rounds through his 19 on the range next to me, and they've all fed flawlessly, except he had one mag that wouldn't always feed right, but it was always the same mag, so it wasn't the gun's fault.
I was talking about the 23.
Hell, I even suggested the 19 because magazines would be easy to find for it, and hi-caps for those in less than free states, could be lifed from cops/older Glocks.
I know my brother has a 19 with 2 regular-size mags, and 2 high-cap 34 rounders (33+1 extension). I think my dad might have a 19 too, which would have interchangeable mags. So... lotsa ammo there.
Yeah.
Glock atleast has a lot of models in the same calibre, and the smaller ones accept the larger mags. I think the 19 would just be a good balance, just small enough to not be in the way but big enough to be used well in combat.

Honestly, I'm not a revolver person--at all.

Even without a main, I'd go with a .22 or a 9mm anyday.

Big revolvers don't work for me--I have small hands.

They do make small revolvers.
I know they do.

I just don't like revolvers in general.

i don't know much about guns but my Zombie Survival Guide(by max brooks)say's that a .22 is an ideal choice against the living dead. Something about how it ricochet inside the head tearing up the brain. Head shot's are the most ideal way to kill a zombie, or decapitation. Plus you can carry more ammo .
I've read it too but i'd like to run around with something with more kick and Semi-auto capabilities. As for a side-arm other than a nice blade I'd use those Glocks with a big mag or a couple Jericho 941's as long as I dual wield those guns lol not sure too much about those magnums they're strong but it's take forever if you don't have a clip to reload it espcially if it's a sidearm

Dual wielding is nowhere near as easy as Laura Croft would have you think.
You can reload a revolver just as fast as a semi, if you know what you're doing. Case in point: Jerry Miculek. YouTube him.

Easy question to answer.

I would have a ".45 Colt Double Barrel Revolver"
yes they exist, yes I want one, no you probably wont find it on google.

Then I would use some CCI Pistol Shotshell Ammunition

I have that ammo... the shot is about as big as the ball in a ballpoint pen. We've never even used it, we just needed another dollar or two to qualify for free shipping on a large order.

Like I've said before, a .45

Or if I could get one, a modern Lematte. Both revolver and Shotgun. *drools*

Yeah, I've thought about the topic before, and I decided no.
It's un-ergonomic, heavy, and BP.

As per the shotshell thing: It's still all birdshot no matter what pistol calibre you're using.

It was made to shoot snakes and small rodents. It might not even kill a normal human if you shot him in the face.

Do you want to use you favorite handgun for close-range pest control? Think CCI. We make more handgun shot cartridges than anyone else. CCI Shotshells replace the conventional bullet with a shot capsule† filled with lead pellets. For close-range pest control, they’re hard to beat. For convenience, CCI shotshells are packed 10 to a pocket-size box.
Blazer cases are not intended to be reloaded.
Do not use any shot cartridge in handguns having ported/vented recoil compensators.

Usage: Short-range pest control (approx. 15 feet)

They also wont cycle.

They could have said, "Ideal for home defense"† if they had that little cross after it.
†Home defense against pests that are less than 15 feet away.
