For Fatal.
As her last words echoed throughout the cavernous temple, the torches flickered out, plunging her world into darkness. A gravely voice hissed out, its owners position impossible to pinpoint. “Lucifer, daughter of Ranoll, you can demand nothing here.” The lights flickered back into being, illuminating the powerful demon god standing before her.
With an unblinking stare Malum watched the daughter of Ranoll, searching for part of his brother within her. This female would never be harmed while in his presence. She would be protecting, the blood within her like a talisman. When Luci and her sibling were just eggs Malum had given his word to Ranoll he would protect them... and he would keep that promise. The bond with his brother demanded it.
Malum settled back into a more relaxed position, tail slinking slowly back and forth behind her. “What are you here for little Luci?” The god chuckled softly under his breath.
For Neko.
A head peeked around the corner into the main cavern of the temple, eyes narrowing into a glare upon seeing Cleo standing there. Satsu slunk out from the shadows, the demon female’s intent clearly not a welcoming one. “What do you want? Go away.” Why were there so many intrusions? Stupid demons coming to take her daddy’s attention away.
The other two replies will come soon.

Luci didn't react as the lights went out, nor did she flinch at the god's words. She refused to show the deity any bit of the thrill of anxiety that fluttered through her body. It was electrifying to gaze into the intense eyes of the one and only Malum and part of her was more than intimidated by standing in the presence of a God. She waited with the patience of a stalking tiger as the god stared into her, studying her. She in turn tried to find within him something familiar. He was larger and more imposing than her father, but he so resembled Ranoll that it would have put her at ease if she weren't acutely aware of the volatility of the deity before her.
With a wry smirk she gave him a sweeping bow. "I wanted to see my Uncle. Is that reason enough?" She crossed her arms over her chest, gazing with admiration around the temple. "I heard so many stories..." she whispered. "I heard about the contest that lead you here." She turned and looked at Malum once more. "I heard Viray had entered too, though not much was said about it. Did you face her in battle?"

Cleo glares at Satsu she didn't know whom this little brat thought she was, but how dear she talk to her like this it was a outrage, and this was surpost to be the temple of demons, Cleo looks around then meets her eyes. "I'm here to see the God of the demons, of course, not that it matters to you." 'Maybe she could play with this one a bit before leaving' she smirks at the thought.

“He doesn’t want to see you.” Satsu retorted smugly. The demon female crouched; her tail swishing back and forth behind her. Her blue eyes blinked once and then twice, and then she sniffed, looking away from Cleo. “It always matters to me.” Malum must already know that Cleo was here; he knew everything that happened in the temple. Whether he would turn up or not was another matter entirely.
---
Malum was pleased this daughter of Ranoll seemed quite strong and controlled. He wouldn’t expect anything less. His penetrating gaze never left her as he tilted his head slightly to the side, the look in wicked gaze rather amused. “Hn... the contest.” His tail flicked up, hitting the ground and cracking the solid rock. That brought back memories. He had been most displeased be the strength of his fellow demons. All were so weak.
“No, I did not face her.” Dark eyes narrowed. “You do not fight family. Blood must be protected.” Of course, that didn’t mean you had to love them at all... and giving one the occasional whack was certainly fine. Killing was forbidden. The God gave a dark chuckle. Well, he’d be willing to make an exception for Valum. That bad blood was no good for the family.
“What do you think of your uncle? Am I... up to standards?”

Cleo narrows her eyes at Satsu " How would you know what the God would want or not want, child?" Cleo shakes her head at this child she thought she owned this place, whom was she, whomever she was she was ticking her off, growling she drops to drops her body a little getting ready to attack or interept one. She was good at reading others on most days, and she was subborn enough to push to get her way.

She nodded her agreement slowly as he spoke of blood being protected. It was the first and most important thing she had ever been taught, and the only lesson that had held together the large and dangerous family. At his question however, she openly laughed. "Dear uncle, you are every bit as imposing as I had been lead to believe!" She gave him another sweeping bow. "I am more than humbled by your presence. Even more so by your resemblance to my father. I hadn't expected you to look so like him, yet there is far more wildness to you." She let her eyes wander, feeling odd saying so much to her uncle.

Darkness stepped out of the shadows, a bundle cradled in her arms and a mishcivous smile across her face. She had had her fun, at least some of it, and the time had come for her to finally meet her uncle.
her tail swayed lazily behind her as she mounted the steps to the temple. she was confident that her uncle would come to her. not only was she family, but she had brought an offering she believed he would find pleasing. kneeling in front of the alter, she carefully places the bundle on the altar there, unwrapping the dark silk fabric, smoothing it out flat with her paws, exposing a plump dead rabbit. she had caught and drowned the creature, taking great care to make sure all the wonderful blood was left in the body. it was very fresh, the fur about the head still slightly damp, even after her thorough drying. she takes the rose that was tucked in the bundle and crushes the petals over the body. when everything was carefully aranged, she placed her paws in her lap, patiently waiting for whomever may come

Marconis entered the temple and his wings twitched slightly. The dark colored demon had made his choice; and was wondering what he'd have to pay for it. He wished to worship the god of demons. Considering that Marconis was a demon, there could be nothing wrong with that right?
However, he had heard how crazy this certain god was. Marconis himself was level headed compared to most demons. Smart actually, using Alchemy on top of his demonic magic. So what was this smart cookie doing here? He was hoping to further his own station, truth be told. Fold in the flock of followers the Divine had, and rise in the ranks. More power and all that jazz.

For Vi:
“Oh lookie here, what I pretty offering.” The voice that issued forth from the shadows was not that of the mad god, but the mocking one of his youngest son. Eminor dropped down from where he’d been walking along the ceiling and hit the ground with a thud. He studied Darkness with a mischievous grin, wings flapping lazily behind him. “So cousin; you’ve finally come to pay respects to the lord of all demons. Malum will be glad to see... but he’s not here yet. He’s... busy. You’ll have to do with me in the meantime.”
---
For kt:
The cave tunnel that Marconius entered travelled down to a large cavern, lit only by three torches. The darkness in the room almost seemed to drown out the little torchlight there was so that eyes had to strain to pick out any details. It wasn’t long before the demon would feel the intimidating, dangerous presence of the demon god right behind him. “Another one.” The god grunted and leant over Marconius’s shoulder, his presence enough to cause fear in even some of the younger gods. “What do you want?”
Malum was not in the mood for games today; his anger bubbled just below the surface. Other demons had come to him before but to live in his temple; to become one of his followers was not for the faint of heart. He was prone to using them as punching bags, making sure they knew who was control... not to mention the god’s children liked a good bit of ‘sport’ when bored. Most preferred to be the one doling out pain... not receiving it.

A tremor passes through the temple. It touches every room and every winding corridor. It shakes dust from the ceilings and rattles the chains of the unfortunate souls slumped in the deep dungeons. The darkness is suddenly more real. It is suffocating. It is heavy with menace.
Demons everywhere feel it as a shiver up their spine. Those in the temple itself are stopped in their tracks as the power brushes past them; a brooding touch, almost thoughtful.
Manes lifts his head and smiles. Finally his watch is over.
The God of Demons is waking…

The demoness stared blankly up at the temple, trying to will herself to go in. It was a strange thing to know she would be openly welcomed in a place, and yet be so unable to go in. Her son had risen to such heights. It was almost unfathomable. She thought briefly on Nalenth, the demon that had spawned Malum and the other boys. She smiled, thinking that at least SOME good had come of that meeting. Still, the demon felt disgraced. If she had done nothing else worth noting she had had a hand in creating the now God of Demons, and that was something at least. Still, she paused at the door. She shook her head, clearing her doubts as she pushed open the door and walked inside. She knew she didn't need to call out to find her son. He would know her and know she was there without her having to make herself known.

Other than the crackling of the torches, the temple was deathly quiet. Nothing stirred. Not one of the many demonic beings that called the temple home were in attendance. It almost felt deserted. "Mother..." The hissing voice slide out from the darkness. The Demon God follows, seemingly pulling himself up out of the solid stone ground. He crouches before her, watching the mortal creature that brought him into the world so long ago without a hint of emotion on his face. Then suddenly, he yawns.

The female demon looked at the imposing creature. He was familiar and yet completely changed. He was not at all the child she had borne into the world, and yet his cold demeanor was the same. She grinned at him. "Hello my son. You're done well. You must know how much pride the family has gained with your elevation." She looked around absently, admiring the temple.

The Demon God did not so much as blink, but his tail swished across the floor, lifting a small cloud of dust. "I know." He said finally. Malum searched for some shred of his old mortality, some old feeling of love and belonging, but he found nothing. His sleep had been long and deep and had left little of who he had been before. "You are welcome here." The Temple could be her home if she wanted it. She would be treated with the utmost respect and protected by all. But if she was expecting any companionship from her son, she wasn't going to get it.
