Softly, Cassidy's eyes fluttered open and she peered at him with her blue eyes. "Hello" she mumbled sleepily, a tired grin spread across her face. She had trouble keeping her eyes open so she kept blinking. She giggled

Alex chuckled softly as he looked at her. "Hey, how's your ankle feeling?" He asked her, smiling a bit.

Cassidy sighed and frowned, waking a little. "It hurts. A lot." She wrinkled her nose, "I hate being in pain" She concluded, her eyebrows furrowed together as she made a face

Alex nodded slowly. "Well you can't walk on it, that's for sure. It seems like you're going to be bed ridden until it heals." He said softly. "But if you need anything, that's what I'm here for."

Cassidy nodded sadly. "Worst comes to worst, I can have you carry me outside so I don't go completely crazy." She laughed softly and looked at him "Sorry for making you be my blanket" She said with a smile

Alex chuckled a little. "If worst comes to worst I'll give you a piggy back ride around the castle." He smiled. "And don't worry about it. Your bed's rather comfortable."

Cassidy grinned at him and giggled. "I'm glad you enjoy my bed" She started to laugh harder. "And while I think about it.. I could use something to drink."

Alex smiled and got up. "And what would you like to drink?" He asked her softly as he stood up.

Cassidy shivered. "Nevermind. Come back and warm me up." She pulled on his arm to get him to come back.

Alex blinked, slightly confused. But he was more than happy to do as he was told. He lied down in the bed next to her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Cassidy sighed happily and snuggled sightly against him "Friends don't let friends freeze!" She declared softly. Her eye lids were getting heavy again as they always did when she was laying down too long. She smiled softly, and looked at him. "Why so confused?" She asked sleepily

"Because I thought you wanted me to go get you a drink. And then you pulled me back down, not that I mind." Alex explained to her simply, hoping she wouldn't notice the hint that he liked her.

Cassidy shrugged her shoulders "You are my source of heat. And I was cold. The drink can wait." She mumbled, her eyes fluttering. She was utterly clueless to the tone in his voice or the meaning behind his words. She just smiled and cuddled into him for warmth

Alex smiled and rubbed her back gently, trying to warm her up. "Well, I'll do my best to warm you up." He smiled and his grip tightened around her.

Cassidy grinned and buried her face in his chest. "There's a blanket over there" She said softly, her arm pointing on the opposite side of the room "If you'd rather just get me the blanket and go do something that'd be fine"
