Photoshop CS4

First off: I don't think linking to sites where you can get programs and such that you would normally have to pay for, for free, are acceptable.

Second: I've been using CS4 for a while, and aside from a better looking interface, I haven't seen much.

There's a content aware scaling feature that's nice, and another that you can merge photos together (like if you had a camera on a tripod and took pictures as you rotated it to make a huge panorama picture.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.. If you don't use any of those features, or ANY of the ones CS4 brings, it's not needed to upgrade.

CS4 is what I use but I can't tell the difference between it and CS3 except the different interface

I would def. want to use or try CS4 but
I love my PS7. Ha

& I think it's, in a way, nice for the linkage.
Most people want to do graphic design and
need a better program and it's great.
But a downer for those who paid for their program.

Photoshop cs4 is a total waste, I installed the try-out version and it made it totally hard to upload my stuff well, I'm sticking to cs3 for now

I have a question.
I used a reeeaaaallllll old PS
So old I'm not even going to say what it is

But I was wondering - what would you recommend in the ways of the CS_ for me to use? I have a graphics shop, and I'm thinking about majoring in CG at my college but I haven't decided yet
No one's ever really taught me to use it fully so I need something that I can learn on my own easily and won't drown

The one's I've been making in my shop, I've been doing in a...sneaky way, I guess?
I bet no one would know what program I'm using by looking at it.

haha me too i have like ps 7 and its suite old but i dont really know compared to urs sweatdrop and everybodys talking about stuff i dont know of lol like gimp, never heard of it, illustrator, never heard of it i guess im a newb too huh well ya im getting cs4 soon so i cant compare the new and the old yet xP
