Well Elesariin, I really don't care much about my avatar. Most gold just builds up so when I returned I spent it on a new hair cut and some items for Martin.

Only if you buy 90k worth of items that are needed by the Driskoll Fund. You'll want to check with the Gaian counterpart for what's left. The only one i've found is OiM-Martin

She doesn't? I could have sworn she did. I'll have to fix that later. Also, I think I might have to institue some sort of limit so AP doesn't get out of control, like after 5k, it'll take 2.5k to get another, then at 10k total, 5k and so forth, that way there's some balance and a good amount of AP.

Even though agreeing with you will hinder me. I must agree with your train of thought. Now if you do like a monthly/weekly/yearly cap on points that could work too. Though the Gimpi is about 300,000, I don't think that having 300 points is very fair. Buying points sounds like a micro-transaction gaming. Gives those who have tons for gold to spend an unfair advantage. Now I have something to do with my gold (which is running out fast) so I don't care if I can't get points anymore, I'll still donate.

I like the cap idea, what I think I'll do is an incremental increase to the amount of gold required to get an AP and a monthly cap of...15, maybe?
