In Japan it is very rude to say Anata to someone. 3nodding Just throwing that out there for future reference xD Just like America saying "Hey you!" Is rude..

Eh, thats not what My Sensei said at school she said "In Japan it is very rude to say Anata" she said that we should just use our friends names owo.. i was just throwing that out there. xD But most deff. telling it to a sensei will get you killed!

BUT also keep in mind Anata also means "dear"

Generally to superiors and not close friends it's rude: But in america its kind of hard to say everyones name for everything. It's ok to use it to friend, but to adress them as their name would be most respectful
