I always liked anime, but I have always liked any kind of animation.
I was a pretty avid Sailor Moon fan when i was a kid, and I really got into Gundam Wing when I first watched it. What propelled my interest in anime to an enthusiasm was Cowboy Bebop. It is still one of my undying faves.

When I was little the first anime I watched... maybe like 6 or 7 years old I used to watch Dragonball on Cartoon Network XD I remember being so sad when they stop showing Dragonball lol

The anime that hooked me was Sailor Moon w/ Slayers, Utena and Kenshin sealing the deal way back when I just a wee lass in high school. heart

Dragonball Z, definently. Once I started watching that and most things that were on Toonami (when it was on cartoon network) my grades went straight down a very tall cliff, hitting the side as they went down.

Sailor Moon, I loved it when it come on Toonami along with Dragonball and Dragonball Z. I loved them both so much.

Sailor Moon caught my attention but I didn't watch it regularly. I didn't even know it was anime, thought it was some cool cartoon that was more detailed than the powerpuff girls(I was 5 or so).
When I turned 8, I watched a bit of pokemon. Again, thought it was American cartoon.
It was when I was 12 and was introduced to Naruto that I not only got hooked but realized what anime was.

You know what? I don't get why they made a Samurai X, and Kinchen Hemora THe WOndering Samuri? I mean, they are the SAME EXACT THIN! Mack's no seance what so ever! But mine was DBZ!
