Gallowayna, or Gala for short, is all about anomalous research. There is just something about dark rituals and spooky happenings that call to her. As such, she has volumes on top of volumes of books related to this. Most though are based on summoning. Summoning that is, a dark lord or god. Her ultimate dream is to successively summon one that can aid her in protecting her subordinates and into discovering all dark magic Faetasia has to offer.
-Back Story-
Little infant Gallowayna never had a chance to know her family or the light of good in the world. Her parents detested the vary sight of her for reasons unknown to her. They beat her and beat her until her crying stopped and they thought her dead. In reality she nearly was. Yet right before her all too young eyes closed for good, a dark figure loomed over her and strange words echoed through her small ears as the figure started to glow. Later on she was found by a young Succubus all wrapped up comfortably with not a trace of the horror she had just faced. This other Succubus raised young Gala as her own and quieted her on nights where she'd relive the horror from her past.
When she was old enough, she told her 'mother' of what had happened and what she dreamed. Her curiosity had started to wonder about the figure that had saved her and she hoped her mother might know who or what it was. Sadly the most her mother could say was that maybe, just maybe Gallowayna and been saved by a god. This made her even more curious and she practically demanded to know everything about gods. Her mother chuckled and told her what she knew. Little did she know that this would spawn a deep yearning for her to find said god.
Over the years, Gala learned more and more about gods and eventually dark arts. The magical side of what she learned only made her want more knowledge and to start practicing it herself. More and more she learned and searched. Soon she had others following her, all seeking answers through the strange things they were finding. She easily fell into the role of leader and helped her subordinates find whatever abnormality they were searching for. Gallowayna's own goal always stayed with her as she did, but was put on the back burner to help the others. That is until the first child was born under her clan.
All the memories she had thought she had forgotten came to her in that moment. No child of her people would ever have to suffer what she had gone through. With this in her mind, she moved her own goal back to the forefront. If she could summon or find the god who saved her, not only could she protect her people, but also find magic they had yet to even dream of. Determination set in her as she spoke to her clan and rallied them behind her cause. Their protection still is her main goal. |
