Her pelt is a perfect marriage of colours from both her mother and father. She bears the creamy pelt of her mother, touched with a stripe of brown along her back and dark brown marks on her paws, almost like mud splatters. She bears bright pink eyes, masked with the same chocolate brown. The fur on her head and on the tuft of her tail is white, contrasting well with the peachy pelt. ---------- Personality:If Jini had had a different start in life, there would be no doubt that she would have been a beautifully, sweet and carefree child. However, born to a family torn apart by cruelty and watching her mother sicken and sicken until she could go on no longer...until she died. It made her bitter and angry and her good nature was slowly tainted by her need for vengeance. Despising red lions and everything to do with the Firekin, she lives in a world of sadness and bitterness, finding it hard to find joy in anything. Even Tope, her mate, can not truly lift her grief and anger from her, nor the love of her children. Since taking out her revenge, however, Jini'pomoka did not find the release that she hoped for. Instead, that anger and bitterness has turned into a deep guilt and self-loathing that she seems unable to shake. She has grown somewhat distant and sad, seeming unsure on what to do next, or whether her mother was proud of her. Now a days she only seems to find comfort in the stars - following her mother's pridelander belief in the kings of the past being up there. ---------- HistoryShe was born to an ex-slave of the firekin, born to know love and to know sadness. She watched as her mother weakened...watched as her mother died, leaving her and her siblings alone with their carer, Hababuu. The moment that her mother left her, Jini'pomoka grew bitter and angry. She could not let the emotion rest. A terrible hate niggled into Jini's heart, festering there with the passing time. It was this hate that drove her out into the roguelands where she met a fellow juvenile with pink eyes. His name was Tope. They made instant friends and they stuck together through thick and thin, and when it seemed Tope could not go back to his own family, Jini brought him with her to the Kusini. Time passed, and through her anger, she found that she could love, too, and she loved Tope. They became mates and, together, they plotted a way to seek vengeance for Jini's mother and the father that she had never met. And so, together, they plotted and trained and then they set out for the desert of the Firekin to stab them a blow that would make them regret their actions. Their path led them to an elderly Firekin, Ripuka, and, blinded by her lust for vengeance, they mortally wounded her, pausing only when they realised she did not travel alone, but with a small golden cub. The guilt that consumed her then halted her claws and together they took off, knowing that the Firekin would not survive much longer in any case. Together they survived and headed back to their home in the Kusini where they focused on having a family. Jini'pomoka birthed Tope two children, but despite having killed in her mother's name, Jini was not happy. She was wracked with guilt and secretly considering returning to the Firekin to confess her sins and meet her maker...

Pekee'duniaLonely Universe"Let us fight for justice."  ---------- Colourist: Meepfur Aquired: Breeding, gift from Zoe and Masmune Text colour: gray ---------- Name Origin: Swahili Species: Cheetah Pride: Refilwe'uluchi Rank: ?? ---------- Appearance:An average cheetah in size and build, he is long and lanky of limb with a long, brush of a tail to help balance whilst running. Markings wise, he is very plain; a white pelted cheetah with typical gray cheetah spots covering all but the tip of his tail and chest. He has grey, tufty hair growing along his neck and shoulders and incredibly bright, green eyes. These eyes, once dull and lifeless, have become steadily more expressive with time and found purpose. ---------- Personality:Pekee is not what one would call a friendly cheetah. He was a depressive creature as a child, with barely a hint of emotion growing up. He walked almost as a ghost, somewhat separate from the world, moving without much thought to what was going on around him. He barely smiled, barely made any sign that he was truly alive. His bouts of depression did not help things and his constant search for finding his purpose seemed to meet nothing but dead ends. With time and with fleeting friendships, he began to realise that mindlessly wandering was not going to help, and on joining a pride and finding a purpose, he is slowly starting to change. He smiles on occasion and even makes idle conversation about nothing in particular. Still, he's not an overly happy creature and if you want comfort or some time out to have fun, you'd be best seeking the company of someone else. Even still, he is an understanding cheetah who will listen without judgement, much like a counsellor. ---------- HistoryPekee was a white cheetah born to two white parents, and surrounded by white siblings. He was just another 'clone'. No one to stand out. He struggled with his identity as a youth, becoming a recluse and seperating himself from his family, unsure how he was to be himself when there were others so alike him. Eventually this forced him apart and he travelled the lands alone, seeking a purpose to his life. He did not find his answer straight away, and neither did it come suddenly after many years of wandering. Instead it came slowly, each snippet giving him a clue to as what he should do. Passing friendships and advice and brief glances into the windows of the world, he came to understand that alone, he could never have purpose. And so he sought out a pride where he might have a use, a coalition who would not look down at him for being a cheetah. It was perhaps fated that he would arrive at the Refilwe'uluchi, those who sought to bring justice to the world. There he has found a position of power, friends and a purpose in life. Here, his life can begin.

Along her shoulders are the 'vine' markings which is a unique trait for her family line. She has black ears, black rings around her toes, bright green eyes, and a golden tail tuft, some throwback colours to her great uncle. She also has a stripe of white along her spine, the top of her head and white 'socks' on her forepaws. ---------- Personality:Ivie is disturbed, to put it lightly. She was born a seer but not any ordinary seer. She sees visions through touch and cannot control what she sees. As a child her visions terrified her because they only brought terrible things. She thought herself a freak, cut herself off from everyone because she was afraid of getting touched. And then Fedha'kialio came. He became her best friend and unaware that she was being used, she fell in love with him. It started as a crush, as all things do, but eventually she completely fell for him. When she declared her love, he rejected her and broke her heart. But not one to give up she chased after him, discovering that he had a mate, a gentle and kindly mate. Filled with despair, bitter envy and grief Ivie left the lands where she had hoped to settle and met, by chance, Fedha's brother; Dharba. He comforted her and seeing that she could use his kindness spent the night with Dharba in hope for children that she could pretend were Fedha's own. Her wish was granted and she became pregnant, but her attempt at fooling Fedha failed. Her grief turned to hate. Around this time Dharba returned, discovered her lies but decided to take her back if she would have him. She agreed, but her children who had discovered her lies had all but gone. So, with Dharba she left for new lands, only she couldn't find it in her heart to love him and after a while she said her goodbyes to him and parted. Ivie is craving love and attention. Rejected by the lion she loved, unable to love a lion who loved her, hated by her own children, she is feeling desperately low and depressed. Because of this she has slowly craved male attention and flirts with the intent of spending nights with males who are willing. During this time she hopes for good visions to comfort her and a male she can find to heal old wounds. She may come across as mad or insane, and really, she is. ---------- HistoryIvie'linwa has led a sad and pitiful life of rejection and deceit. It did not start out this way, of course. Her life, in fact, started off as any normal child's might start off. She had loving parents and two wonderful siblings and a pride she adored. However, this all changed when her seer powers came to light. Unable to control them, they would sporadically come to her through touch, making it difficult for her to hunt without living through a part of her prey's past or painful future. She made friends with a young lion by the name of Dharba, who was also a seer, and became rather attached to him, not feeling so much of an outsider when he was with her. He understood her pain and encouraged her to take control of it. It was inevitable that, with the passing of time, she'd come to adore and love Fedha'kialio, almost obsessing over him, dreaming of becoming his mate and proving her worth to him by becoming a good seer. However, her self-loathing was still strong, and believing herself a freak, she left the pridelands to find a place where she might fit in. This home, she thought, might have been in the Bahari'mtoto lands and it was here that she met with Fedha again. Yet, her joy was short-lived as she realised, much to her horror, that he had already taken a mate and had cubs of his own. Seething and unable to accept it, Ivie plotted a way to win his heart by birthing him seer children. By now, her seer powers were somewhat erratic and out of control, and after trying to woo Fedha - and failing - she struck out miserably into the rogue lands once more. Here was where fate stepped in, and delivered her a new hope in the form of Dharba - Fedha's brother and littermate. After flirting with Dharba, she mated and became pregnant, returning to the Bahari lands in order to confront Fedha and tell her that she was having his children. Her children were born and she told them her father was Fedha'kialio, trying to encourage them, also, to pretend to be seers to win him over. However, her plan backfired and miserable and alone, Dharba returned to see her. This meeting was both good and bad, for it alienated some of her children from her. To that day, she has still not seen Phusa or Nissa, though she rarely thinks of them now for the pain that it brings. She left for the rogue lands with Dharba again and though she attempted to give their romance another go, failed to find anything she liked in him. Eventually, alone and half mad, she bumped into a purple lion by the name of Thoth, who directed her to the Mwezi'johari lands. There she took up a middle-class ranking and, tried to start her life anew. However, old habits die hard and her flirtatious ways brought her to trouble yet again. On the borders she bumped into a lone male by the name of Suijin and, their one-night-stand ended up with her becoming pregnant again. Due to her fling, she was kept under close surveillance of the pride and it came to light that she had uncontrollable seer powers, by the queen. She birthed another litter of children, though she kept herself strangely distant from them, knowing that their father might return one day to claim his spawn. This day did come and, when the children were adolescents, all but one left to go with him. Ivie, heartbroken and alone, has now grown dependant on her lone son, Charon, relying on him to take the role of carer so that she might keep hold of whatever sanity she has left.

She has sandy coloured eyes and an orange beak. Despite being a middle-aged avian, she is still sleek and well-preened, always taking care of her appearance. ---------- Personality:Kucha is a sweet and motherly avian, who has a soft spot for orphans. These orphans can come in all shapes and sizes and historically, have been of the large and furry kind, rather than feathery. She has a huge heart and a soft spot for children. However, just like a mother, she will not be messed around and she's not too sweet that she wouldn't scold bad behaviour and put naughty ones in their place. However, she is incredibly loving, and finds joy in helping others. Despite this, she has never found a proper family to call her own: a mate and children. This is her one goal in life which she has yet to accomplish and until then, she will always harbour a sadness about not having done so. ---------- HistoryKucha has flitted from one corner of the continent to the other, first adopting a young female wild dog. She stayed by the wild dog's side, until she was old enough to take care of herself, and even have a family of her own. Only then did she take to the air again, flying alone and without any destination in mind. This effortless flight took her to the mountains by the borders of the new Ela'wadiyi lands where she came across a skinny, juvenile male lion who was running from plague-ridden lands to find a new home. His name was Ona'raha Subiani, and, it did not take much convincing for Kucha to guide him home. She stayed there for a while, too, watching as Ona grew in confidence and leaving , once again, when he seemed able to fend for himself. She spent a great deal of her time alone, after that, flying the lands in search of her own family. However, her journey was interrupted once again by the form of a wounded, and almost dead lioness. Kucha, unable to turn away, encouraged the female to stand and to survive and led her to a safe haven in the desert. Though the lioness was a mute, it was clear that she was grateful, and, after entrusting her safety with a resident jackal, Kucha once again set off alone.

Ka'ohuMist"Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart."  ---------- Colourist: Mila Farrel Aquired: Breeding, gift from Mimsey Text colour: peru ---------- Name Origin: Hawaiian Species: Lion Pride: n/a Rank: Rogue ---------- Appearance:Ka'ohu would be a pretty girl if she took better care of herself. However, her lack of good grooming means that her dusty pelt is matted and splotched with dirt and is wriggling with fleas - whom she doesn't seem to mind all that much. She enjoys romping around in the mud, which also doesn't see her fur looking too great. She has a 'chunky' and rather masculine build which gives her a strong and somewhat intimidating look to other females. Her middle, however, is often thin, from spending her life as a rogue and much of it alone. ---------- Personality:A scavenger, Ka'ohu would much rather steal a kill from another than have to hunt herself. Not because she's cruel, just that she's a terrible huntress, not helped by the fact that she's often alone. If one can get past her somewhat 'crude' way of talking and her tomboyish attitudes of wrestling, jumping in the mud and rough-housing, then they would find that she was a loyal and loving cat who wants nothing more than to wander the plains and have a few friends to call her own. Despite her 'tough girl' attitude, Ka'ohu is very sensitive and is hurt easily by those who think her ugly or stupid or nothing more than a waste of space. Even still, she'd never cry in front of you or anything like that. Hurt her and you'll most likely receive a lot of verbal abuse before she tears away to find somewhere alone to sob away the upset. Even still, she adores cubs and loves company, not really liking to be alone, and will put up with a lot to keep that company close. This does leave her open to manipulation at times. Recently, due to such an incident, she has become increasingly distrustful of males. Gruff, resiliant and bold is Ka'ohu and she's certainly not a character to take too lightly. She believes in inner beauty and sees it wherever she goes. ---------- HistoryKa'ohu was born to a 'rough around the edges rogue' and a Mistweaver who was child to Maji and Ciyari. However, Ka'ohu has little grace and elegance of her mother's ancestry and takes everything from her father's side. Though she loved her family dearly, she felt the need to prove herself worthy of being a rogue by striking out alone. It is not certain that she would have done this if her siblings had not. Yet she did not want to be the only one clinging to Mummy and Daddy whilst her siblings became true rogues. She met a young male named Ahnik who she took a liking to despite the fact that he was somewhat unkind and, because of this, stuck around his homeland for a while, scavenging and making mischief, until, by chance she met him again out in rogue lands. It became apparent that he appreciated her scavenging skills and they agreed to travel together for a while, becoming Ka's first travelling companion. Despite his gruff attitude towards her, Ka'ohu did not let his insults upset her, deciding it was worth it if she wasn't alone and he stayed with her. And, as time passed by, she began to care deeply for him. However, unsure how to confess her feelings, she kept them quiet, secretly hoping that he would make the first move. Then along came Tabia. This beautiful and eloquent female was Ka's exact opposite, and she and Ahnik hit it off. Jealous and angry, Ka'ohu refused to befriend the new female, treating her like an outsider and making sure that the other female knew she wasn't wanted. Eventually, Ka's heart was broken when she discovered that Ahnik and Tabia were plotting to capture females in order them to obtain rank within a pride. Distraught by her part in the plan and being used by a male she adored, Ka'ohu fled without so much as a goodbye. Her distress lingered for days, and perhaps would have spelt the end for her if it had not been for the little cub, Dez'i. An abandoned child, with poor hearing, she took him under her wing and raised him as her own, calling him son, whilst he - in turn - called her mother. Her heart started to mend again and, during one of their travels, they came across a male named Ceyx. Ka'ohu was immediately distrustful of this male. However, due to a promise she had made with her son about him becoming a warrior, she allowed the strange male to stay and teach him. And, at the same time, learning that perhaps not all rogue males were as bad as the one who had broken her heart.

He keeps his appearance spotless due to being a dancer and often performing in front of others. His limbs are long and strong and he often wears small bells around his paws. He has a cream stomach and front paws, overlaid with a deep, burnished gold. His pelt bears dark stripes, a gift from his unknown father. He has a pair of deep reddish-brown eyes and an elegant face framed with a chocolate mane. ---------- Personality:Aapep is a friendly and outgoing lion, willing to help out any who needs it. He loves dancing and, thus, teaching others, particularly his own family members, though of course, he will teach all of the pride, and even rogues too. Willing to share his knowledge and never thinking ill of anyone, Aapep will be open-hearted and warm to all, unless they give him reason not to. Though Aapep has never been in a true fight, due to living a safe life with his mother and then in the pride, he can be a little naive to the violent tendencies of others. However, kind and gentle though he is, if he needed to fight to protect those he loves, you can trust him to do so with unwavering fierce. ---------- HistoryAapep was born the only child of Kirjava, unaware at that time of his half-siblings out in the world. Being an only child and without a father, he took it upon himself to stick by his mother's side, only straying to visit his friends in a neighbouring pride - though his mother did not know of this at the time. His bouncy gait and boundless energy caught the attention of pride members, who told him his steps could easily be transformed into dancing. And thus the dancer was formed. As a youth he spent much of his time in the Nchi'mahadhi, particularly with Mawi-Mai and Kani'noe. As time passed, and with visits to his brother across the lands, he realised that he had come to think of the musical pride as a home. Eager to share this love with his mother, he finally convinced her to join the lands and declared his love for the beautiful Mawi Mai. Shortly after joining and becoming official members, Mawi became pregnant and Aapep was the proud father of four beautiful cubs. However, disaster struck, soon after. Kirjava - who was an elderly lioness even when carrying her last son in her womb - finally succamb to her age and passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Aapep was left distraught and unable to dance, becoming sad, particularly when left alone. However, with the help of his family and his pride, he once again found his love of music and now dances in celebration of his mother's life. He left the lands only once more, visiting his brother to give him the sad news about their mother's passing. With that done, they headed back home, to find that their coupling had produced another litter of cubs. To this day, the large litter of eight have kept the young couple on their toes, and life is looking up once more.

Born to a superstitious little family in the desert, it is only to be expected that this little one would be superstitious too. His superstition borders on obsession and all he can think about is what the meaning of the markings on that one's pelt mean, and what the colour of the sky forebodes, and what messages he can find in the way the sand settles after the touch of the wind. To listen to his mad blabbering, one would think him mad, and perhaps they would be right. However, if you choose to listen harder, it is clear there is some wisdom in those words - though not all the time. He is generally a nice serpent, kind at heart and eager to please and he respects the Firekin greatly. The only time he would strike at another would be if he thought that Fia of her family's life was at risk. Yet, whilst he is devoted to lions, he seems to take no sign in caring for those of his own kind. Romance is certainly not on Itz's agenda, and it is highly unlikely he will show any interest in any children that his brief couplings might bring. He has a tendency to make others nervous due to his blunt and somewhat insensitive words - often blurted without much thought. However, he is doing it because he thinks it will help, rather than be a hindrance. ---------- HistoryBorn to a pair of superstitious cobras, Itz - has he is commonly known - has only ever known the sea of gold and the red lions that dominate it. Taking on board his parents strange - but seemingly useful - teachings, he decided that he, too, would partner with a Firekin just as his parents bonded to the Regent No. And so, he watched the children of No and Kidondo avidly, deciding to pick their eldest child - Fia. He was drawn to her blood-marked face, thinking it a foreboding sign and wishing to watch over her as she grew. Itz has never taken leave of the lands, though he does tend to bask in the peace and quiet of the outskirts at times. During one of these get-aways, he met with a beautiful female snake by the name of Panna and shared a brief liaison with her. He does not expect to see her again.
