Anywho, Guys. Should I start using photoshop more often for the pieces I work real hard on? I Mean lately almost ALL my works have been in SAI and focusing on painting. BUT like I really want your oppinion should I go back again and do clean lineart + really put effort into my pieces?


I did this a month after first getting my tablet and I basically stopped using photoshop after this.

The girl I offered to do it for free basically never even acknowledged it---for whatever reasons ( maybe I'm overreacting?) I stopped making things in photoshop because of that.

I honestly think it was one of my BEST earlier works. I've only had my Tablet for 5 months and I'm still trying to get used to it.

Ohmai---thanks! It's really not hard----visual-ize---and really visualize the front wall of the curl and picture it descending---allowing your mind to render the shadows and highlights and picture it's flow as it spirals downward how would the light would reach the bottom or top of the curl OR like how light would reach the inside of the curl.

I know it's very discouraging, but don't let one person spoil your experience with photoshop. D: Sadly not everyone is going to like the art you put out there. Even the greatest artists will have their hardcore critics.

Totally give photoshop a try again 3nodding if you've got any questions about it I use photoshop for all my digital work. You can ask questions about the tablet too

@Stars: Don't feel bad! biggrin the point of this place is to keep drawing and get better! It might not feel like much now, but keep it up and you'll be creating all kinds of cool stuff soon enough 3nodding

Well I had an incident where someone basically only had me as a friend for free drawings---then as my art progressed I didn't realized I pushed a friend into hating art (she hated it prior, but I didn't know to what extent)

It's a complicated issue for some raisins xD

Oh no, I know there is a positive to a negative so I'm ok with people hating it for whatever reason they please----but when they blatantly do it in the worst way---it makes me feel like "Whoa there. That's not cool." XD

I'll try it maybe by the end of this month for some serious stuff again<3

Despite what you've told me, I still like your art way better than mine---it has more character and life----whereas I feel mine is just still flavor----kind of like canned foods---and I think of yuors as freshly prepared taste----love your art! It's great <3

i know how you feel. sometimes when im doing my traditional i put my hand infront of me and get surprised when there is no keyboard XD

FINALLY. I stopped testing and making brushes and textures so much---so I've been focusing on completing that Art list.


Here is a WIP for Riding_The_Stars----and a WIP for Red might follow up in a few days----am still not liking what I've drawn so far (damn wolf fur isn't looking right D: )
