Teenagers do not need to know these. YOUNG ADULTS do. Are the creators of this bill lack the necessary psychological training or what? Noon wala namang RH RH eh, bakit mas conservative pa mga lolo natin, because they knew that thing all along in the way to adulthood. Imagine, you tend to spoon feed to teenagers, "Dapat di niyo to gagawin, dapat bluh bluh bluh", that's pretty nonsense, come on. Know the right time if this kind of education is to be implemented, and if so, be ready for a higher rate of people that is more curious, more adventurous pertaining sex.
what they shouldn't do? RH bill never encourages or discourages teenagers to have sex. We are in the modern age now, anong gusto mo bumalik sa panahong wala ng computer at nakacabinet pa ang TV.? Its a Reproductive Health bill, not Population Control Bill.

Hey, I know it's not about encouraging or discouraging sex, but opening up such topic erupts a teen's curiosity. Try studying the Human Behavior so you can actually understand how things work if serious things are introduced at a wrooooong time. Allow me to cite an example:

1 year old pinapabasa ng Physics na libro.

oh di kaya 10 years old na sinabihang ang YOUJI*Z is a site that caters porn stuffs, entering this site wields great responsibility to your mind. OH DBUH mas maeenganyo ang bata smile It's a matter of accepting how human minds work. We can never create a new one unless you turn yourself into a cyborg.
how do u say that teenagers are not at the right age to learn stuff like this.... after seeing changes in their physical appearance and maturation, how cant u be aware? So kailan dapat malaman ang tungkol sa adolescence and puberty? pagka-18? so pagka-18 lang pwede marealize na im now becoming a real man or woman, so i should start preparing for it. LOL

Hayyyzzz Psychology, Psychology, Psychology. That's what pro RH Bill needs. We all know that changes in the physical appearance doesn't affect the mental development xd . For example, girls have more mature perspectives than men, and no one can actually tell if this guy has already developed his mental statistics! People who's age is 18 and above is more likely in the stage of greater brain knowledge and maturity to accept such things. tsk2x Parang pa ulit2x lang ata ang punto ko dito, iniiba-iba lang ang tanung smile ) It's like trying to stumble down a fact with too many questions.

so you mean, men below the age of 18 is incapable of understanding this knowledge because their mental statistics isn't fully developed yet? dude, i tell you, there are more children who has a broader and more open minds compared to adults.

dude, let me also tell you, i'm not referring to JUST ONE person here, Im referring to the majority! You can actually use this situation now, a 16 year old trying to portray his message to a 22 year old guy. See? Mentality really differs, so we better stay SAFE than SORRY. TRYING is an option, to RISKS that are WORTHY, and my COUNTRY, is not a TESTING GROUND. Thank you.

yun na nga. you're not referring to just one person, that's why you're generalizing the most men below 18 years of age is incapable of understanding because as you said their mental statistics ain't fully developed yet.
no wonder this country doesn't progress, always the DEVELOPING country and not a DEVELOPED country because its not a testing ground. Everything is a testing ground. One cannot learn if its not being tested (factors considered of course).

Why am i even discussing this to you? SABI MO NGA DIBA, men below 18 years of age is incapable of understanding such knowledge kasi di pa fully developed ang mental statistics. masyado pang closed/narrow minded. How old are you, you say??? 16?? yun na yun. period. thank you! biggrin

eh sino namang gago ang mag papabasa sa 1 year old ng Physics? hahaha! And i don't think even 1 year old's can read.

Kids discovering sex is usually unintentional. Which is part of growing. Tama si Gerald Roy. We are in a modern age. The people learn through media.

I believe as a minor, I already know my rights and duties, being educated for how many years in this field. Underestimation is such a bad figure pare, it indicates that you are really more immature than how people think, how could you actually say that I am one of those minors who aren't capable to handle such arguments without even holding such proof? Isn't the way you guys talk more insensitive? This is just an indication of how you guys are close-minded. ASK the women. I have surveyed. 8 out of 10 women from ages 10-17 rejected RH BILL, 6 out of 10 women from ages 18 and above rejected the RH Bill. Why force such majority if they do not like it? And another thing, things to be tested, yes, but for useless things like this, I don't think this has to be tested. smile

there could be flaws in your survey. Did u even asked them why they are anti RH bill? Baka ang alam lang nila, pagsinabing RH Bill, Birth control, eh hindi naman un tungkol dun eh... One more thing, the women u surveyed in your area doesnt represent the whole women population of the Philippines.

there you go again contradicting yourself. See. Sabi mo nga, you believe as a minor you know your rights and duties. I'm pretty sure a lot of other minors believe they do too. Ikaw yung nag underestimate.
And about your "survey", do your really think those women know kung anong meron sa RH Bill? Did they read it? Did they understand it? Or baka naman they only know that RH Bill is anti-life and that it supports abortion (which it doesn't)?
Majority? You didn't survey the whole Philippines, pare to say that the majority doesn't like it.

factors must be considered when making a survey:
Age, location, education attainment, occupation, access to media: tv and internet, etc biggrin

Even though the RH Bill was recently modified (they removed abortion as a 'right' and the ideal family size), there's a hell lot of stuff to care about rather than this. Plus, to think that Aquino's oversaving for this through his so-called 'Aquinomics' is just so.. why would you risk for something unsure? Think about it.. kung ang sex education ay ituturo sa schools, don't you think the children might get the wrong notion about it? Imagine teaching a grade 5 student how to use a condom. And yung facilities that they are promising, I don't think they could bring it to completion given a very short period of time. Sex education teachers must be professionals. Professionals are made through experiences, and it takes a lot of time for these 'experiences' to take place. Also, it was stated in the bill that parents HAVE THE RIGHT as to whether they will allow their children to go to school to attend sex education classes or not. And it's UNSURE too kung gagamitin ba ng mga couples ang condom na ibinigay sa kanila. If everything's not compulsary nor mandatory, what's the purpose of turning it to a law? big waste of money.

Pro ako kung ok nman ang bill at walang flaws...what matters is matuto ang mga kabataan at maging open ang mga magulang sa contraception... people need to learn how to be responsible... idc what the church would say... am not an atheist or what so ever as long as the bill is not flawed I agree...
