Character Background/Personality: Bereli was born in to the pride, just like her mother before her, and so on. She has a deep sense of loyalty, has always been eager to serve her pride and fellow pride members, but she doesn't seem to have it in her to defend herself when it comes to personal matters not related to battle. In fact, in the social scene she can be quite a pushover, and shy. When she does fight, is is often more with her heart than her head. Bereli isn't a very bright girl when it comes to practicality, but she is very smart when it comes to dealing with other's emotions. She is very much a rock to cry on. She is easy to move emotionally, which can make her both an asset and a liability, although she takes much more to hunting than fighting. She has, however, seen her share of fighting. She's neither young, or very old, but already she feels a bit life-weary.
Appearance: This color pallet, TLK style markings, and whatever othe r markings in whatever color you want. =3 One of her back legs seems to be mangled with scars all the way up to her rump, and she has an ear that has seen better days.

Character Background/Personality:
Berkant was found as a cub by a group of wandering lions. This band were warriors by trade, selling their strengths to those that needed it. He was raised by an older lion, taught to fight, and brought up on the belief that life was not somethign to be so quickly thrown away, especially in an area where surviving was a fight of it's own. And so he learned to defend himself, and those that he cared for, or those that were in need. Not all within the group believed so strongly that life was precious, and when the group's leader died it's position was quickly snatched up by such a lion.
A ruthless male who felt the old beliefs in letting an enemy go was a foolish notion. The group became divided, unfortunately the majority sided with ??'s mentor. Feeling this old lion a thread the new leader killed him during battle in an attempt to make it seem as if the old lion had been killed by those they fought against. His plan did not go as planned, as those who did not believe in killing as he did turned against him, having found out what he did. So they were given a choice, join him or be killed. Some joined him but many did not. Those that refused were set upon. ?? fought as best he could, alongside other males, to give the females and weaker lions a chance to escape, before they themselves either fled or were overpowered.
Without a home he wandered, surviving as best he could in the harsh desert. It seemed a miracle when the adolescent male stumbled in to the lands that had been, at the time, controlled by the Burkuteshti. With no home to return to he sought acceptance with the pride. Fighting was nothign new to the male, and so he managed to prove himself a capeable fighter. Certainly nto the best, but ever willing to learn and improve. From young adolescence he grew up in the pride, learning of their ways, and what history that was known.

Berkant still clings to the beliefs of his old mentor, that life is not something to be so quickly thrown away. He would rather maim a foe, leave them severely wounded but alive, than to simply kill. This is not the case should the situation be life or death. He will not throw his life away needlessly, nor will he allow those he cares for or see's as his kin to be killed.
He looks very unkindly upon those that would betray him and/or their pride, believing quite strongly that those who are untrustworthy are a danger to all.
Appearance: I would love it if his face/neck/shoulders were more scarred than the rest of him.
Shades of brown with black splotches would be awesome, since I am loving the splotches. (Plotting for him to be the mate to Quaji's girl) One bright-ish green and one light brown eye? o uo
Otherwise I'm sure anything else you add will be shamazing.
•Can I request the alt new lines, the ones that are retired? If not then the new lines. <4
(I used his adoptive father/mentor's name, since Ber did not know his real father. I hope that is alright.)

Revised!Username: Malhyanth Character Name: Kizgin sim Pirilti (Fierce | Shimmer) Character Gender: Male Character Rank: Burkuteshti, whatever rank ^^ Character Background/Personality: Eksikalkasi is a cruel, fierce warrior, earning many a scar from brutal fights as a young male, aiming to 'earn his stripes' in raids on the opposing pride's territory, to try and dislodge them from an oasis, and secure it once more for his own pack. The thick coverings of scars are a constant reminder of his loyalty to his Bey, and to his devotion to their cause, and is physical proof of his undying determination to make their pride the strongest. Any that suggest that he is 'past it', or 'too old to fight' will find themselves smarting for weeks from his fierce retribution. Appearance: I would love for him to look like any sort of Axanthic Python, with a myriad scars over his forelegs, neck and throat, and wherever else looks good. He is, after all, a more aged fellow. Some way to make him seem like this would be pretty awesome. If the appearance is not something you like, anything in those sort of colours would be fantastic 8D Oh, and on the alternative new rogue lines please, if I can ask!

Character Background/Personality: Mehry was produced from a rogue breeding - not out of adolescent lust on her mother's part, but out of a strict sense of duty to the Qyrhyeshti. Nazafarin's belief that the pride's bloodlines were getting too shallow bordered on paranoia, and so she sought out a rogue male to strengthen the gene pool. However, she is still not convinced that the pride has a diverse enough gene pool, and constantly stresses this upon her daughter, Mehry. Mehry is torn between a sense of duty and dread over the idea - she will always want to aid her pride, but not exactly at the cost of being unable to take a mate for herself. Growing up, Mehry had a considerably happy disposition, but with constant near-confrontation with her own mother, Mehry has become a lioness that is easily stressed, and just as easily aggravated. She's a lioness that hasn't quite found herself yet, and will always struggle to do so.
Appearance: Since her mother rogue bred, I imagine she could have some darker colors or unnatural colors. But it is entirely up to you! c:

Character Rank: Muharip - no preference!
Character Background/Personality: A fighter through and through, Baysan's temper is easy to spark and difficult to cool. Grievances that would start a mere argument with another lioness frequently become physical spats with her. Once the fight is over, the matter is settled...as long as she wins. To lose is to be humiliated, and she does not take humiliation well. It grates on her competitive nature, and sparks a grudge that lasts long past the memory of anyone else involved. Despite her combative nature, she has a firm respect for the chain of command and a strict sense of honor. She prefers to sharpen her claws on the enemy, after all.
Appearance: Horse!lion on alt lines. That is all.

Character Background/Personality: Born in the pride, Aaqila believes the Qyrhyeshti were robbed of their land and wishes to show those Burk scum what-for. However, she is a much older lioness and has poorly-healed wounds on her back leg that. Both of these factors leave her incapable of participating in battle without being a hinderance. Begrudgingly, she accepts her fate, taking on the role of Buyuk to try and continue to contribute to the pride, even away from the fighting. However, she doesn’t seem to like kids that much and can be a bit… bitter around them. Short and cold, she tells it like it is, making sure they understand their roles as well as their history. Cold though she may appear, she is not vicious or abusive, her cranky attitude more due to the pain in her leg and her own feelings of being displaced than the children themselves. Most would probably think it hilarious to be around her, trying to cheer her up. Being a game for the young does NOT amuse her, either.
Appearance: I see her being on the newest female lines, possibly a pale blue/gray color. However, I have no real design in mind! Scars are welcome.

Character Background/Personality: Young and bold, Munis is happy to hunt and fight for his pride. He is happy to be on the winning side, and thinks no one will be able to stop them from taking complete control of the land, no matter how close the battles appear to be. Because he is freshly adult, he is perhaps a bit too cocky for his own good, and has a habit of falling into almost needless trouble. Sometimes his spirit just gets the better of him. As far as his history goes, I wouldn’t mind leaving it a bit open so I can connect it with some of the other members- since they all know each other, it would be fun to get some inter-connected plots rolling.
Appearance: I like light browns, but other then that go nuts!

Character Background/Personality: Ceren had much ambition since she was a child, even though she was almost cast out to die when she was born. At first, her father thought she was born with a limp - but shortly after, Ceren proved otherwise, securing her life. Despite that, she seemed smaller than normal - a runt of her generation. Yet, in her childhood spars, she maintained a higher than average success rate, and was keen on learning everything there was about the world. Growing up, she had sparred so much and gone on so many hunts that it eventually caught up to her small body. On one of her most notable achievements, she defended a group of younger Burkuteshti members from the Qyrhyeshti, but the aftermath left her with a scarred, blind eye, as well as a disabled leg. Though she claims she could still continue in battle, she understands that she would be more valuable as a Buyuk, and is exceptionally kind and considerate to the younger ones.
Appearance: a pale creamy or dull tan base, some white paint markings here and there. something about her made her parents think of a gazelle, so some of that too (or could just be a black tear marking or whatever)! and perhaps a very pale blue eye color. one of her eyes is blind (so a milkier version of eye color) and scarred. random scarz to your preference!
Meep: Being down one eye would be considered enough to force retirement. She needs something that would more significantly impact her ability to fight.

Character Background/Personality: A gruff lion, Gul likes to take everything seriously, and it shows in his speech and expressions. None like to be near him, because his aura is simply unpleasant at times. In front of authority, however, he is somehow able to compose himself and act charming, even. He is relentlessly rough in his spars, sometimes doing things that are borderline sneaky and cheating to secure his win. It's definitely questionable whether he lives up to his parents' honorable reputation, but he doesn't care; his parents are dead.
Appearance: something natural. markings on his face would preferably be a point of interest!

Character Background/Personality: Firuz is an older lion, who is getting along in years. This doesn't mean he's quite out of the prime of his life, but his fur is beginning to show a bit of silvering in his age. He is a seasoned warrior, and has been battling for his clan for as long as he can remember. He has been through countless skirmishes, and though he prides himself on winning at all costs, the scars on his body prove that he has not always come out victorious. Battle is all he really understands, and hate for the enemy has been well ingrained in his entire being. Firuz is loyal to his Bey's every word, and there isn't a member in his clan he wouldn't fight for or give the fur off his back. He has always been a dedicated member and plans on seeing his pride through victory.
Unfortunately for Firuz, he is getting a bit older. He is slowing up, though he'd never admit such a thing, and though he has experience in his seasoned years, he finds some of the younger generations are beginning to gain an edge over him. This causes him frustration, and does concern him. He's not ready to retire, and he certainly has a few aces up his sleeve for any who might look upon his age as weakness.
Most recently, in the latest massive skirmish, Firuz's mate passed away. She died in battle for the Bey's cause, and while he is well aware of her loss, it only further cemented his disdain for the opposing side. Her loss grieves him, but the stubborn old fool rarely speaks of her, or her memory. In part he does this so as not to have to face the grief within, but also because he wants her memory solely for himself. Firuz is gruff, stubborn, loyal, dependable, and intelligent. He's also defensive in nature, holds grudges, and rarely learns new tricks, opposed to what's tried and true (in his opinion).
Appearance: I'd like color scheme to be cream, lighter browns, and ambers. Design is up to you. He's old though, so faded coloring is likely happening, since he is silvering up a bit wit hage. And many, many scars.

Character Background/Personality: Lut sum Tahir was the only male of his litter. He had a sister, but like his mother, she died quickly after she was born. Lut was trained like everyone else in the pride and took pride. As a cub, he hated it. He hated not being able to play like he wanted to, he hated the fact his father drilled it into his head that he was the reason that his mother and sister were dead. It was supposed to push him harder, but to Lut, it hurt him more than anything else.
As he got older, Lut realized his father was getting weaker. There was no way he could be a teacher or a healer. He prepared himself for the day his old father left the pride. Now it was up to Lut to continue on his family line.
However, Lut has never been interested in females, or anyone else for that matter. He lives for his work. He feels hunting and fighting is what his mother would do. He tries twice as hard because he felt he should be doing the work of his sister as well. He's a quiet sort who stays in his head a lot of the times. He will speak, if spoken to first, and tries not to dally on his tasks. He's not perfect; if he's talking he will either stutter if he's nervous, or reply slowly. Sometimes the pride members believe he's slow of mind.
If Lut gets comfortable with someone, they'll notice he won't stutter at much and that his replies come faster than when they first met him.
Appearance: Leaving that up to you completely!

Character Background/Personality: Jaleh is a rather clever female, and is quite dedicated to the whole kicking-Burkuteshti-butt thing. She may even be reckless, not quite picking her targets all too wisely. She's gotten in and out of trouble, and has many scars to prove it. She remembers battles almost fondly, and doesn't seem quite intent on settling down. Though that probably wouldn't be a bad thing. So I guess you can say she's a workaholic. Spends most of her time training, or thinking about attacking.
Appearance: Natural lion colors and markings, because I'm exciting like that xD She has a stump tail! Lost in battle. Of course, not expecting edits here 8D Maybe a gradient-ed black/white tail, to indicate how much of it she's lacking? xD oh, and scarrrrs, yes. Plenty! Fluffy. : D Perhaps even scruffy.

Character Background/Personality: Parsa lives truly to his name. He is devout and dedicated to an almost obsessive degree. Though he is still rather young, he acts very mature for his age. He treats everything very seriously and soberly. His mother died contracting an illness shortly after the birth of Parsa and his younger sister. This left a deep impact on both Parsa and his father. He strives to be the best he can be in everything. Though he may not be good at something, he puts in his utmost effort every time, throwing himself into any task, assignment, etc. He is quiet, and a little distant at times. He might not be the strongest lion, but he is quick, both physically and mentally.

Character Background/Personality: Sarosh was a very troubled youth. He always seemed weaker and slower than the other cubs. He never truly excelled at anything. This led to a great deal of frustration and anger on his part. He took to standing apart from the others and spending time on his own. He would often get into trouble. Struggling and practicing on his own, he managed to catch up with his peers. He is very competitive by nature and though he is still not very quick or strong, he is very enthusiastic and loyal. He will follow orders to the letter and encourages obedience in others as well.

Character Background/Personality: Born and bred of the pride, Mumtaza has always been a devoted daughter of the Qyrhteshti. Though fresh into her prime, she still carries a sort of feistiness that she always had. Being the second youngest and the elder of two sisters, she always seemed to butt heads with her brothers and tried to do everything they did. Her sister was always the weakest of the five siblings and ended up getting sick and dying not all that long out of their cubhood. It saddened her for a time, but she still had her brothers. Pretty much always one of the boys, Mumtaza carried on her tomboyish airs until her adolescence. At that time, she began to distance herself from her brothers. She didn’t want to blend in with them anymore. She wanted to shine on her own merit. The young adult doesn’t take getting walked over, used, or pushed aside sitting down. Confident in her skills and eager to keep those skills honed, she enjoys practice and mock-sparring to help keep herself sharp. She expects the best of herself and those around her.
The taking of their land broke her heart and robbed her of a brother and her mother. While it saddened her, it added fire to her spirit. Things will get better and she's bound and determined to help achieve it.

Username: ~Masamune~ Character Name: Afet bint Aysun ("Catastrophically beautiful" and "As beautiful as moon") Character Gender: Female Character Rank: Burkuteshti - Muharip Character Background/Personality: Afet is a very beautiful lioness, and she knows it. She carries herself with such pride and grace, one would think that she's royalty. Unfortunately for her though, no one else really values physical beauty, which has caused her to become quite a moody character. Where she does get attention is on the battlefield. She's a skilled fighter, although she doesn't enjoy it. The idea that she may mess up her fur or break a claw is quite upsetting to her. Appearance: Inspired by this, if at all possible. It wouldn't be an exact copy of the ref, just take inspiration from it. If not, I still think she would need to stand out from a crowd, so she would have unnatural colours as opposed to the natural ones that most of the Pride has. Also, I would love new female alt lines.
