Something happened to Tegan as a child. Although he never speaks of it, whatever it was traumatized him so severely, that life as a sacrifice in the mizimu fills him with little dread. Tegan relishes the safety of the pride, even if he does not actually believe in the spirits or any of the pride's beliefs. Instead, he feels his sacrifice will be one made in honor of the group that rescued him as a child. After seeing the truly dark corners of the savannah, the mizimu feel more like a refuge then one of oppression.

History:
Tzora is the daughter of the dhati king and queen, born on the night of her mother's brutal execution. Although she knew very little about her parent's fates, Tzora grew up into something of an oddity herself. Unlike her parents, she does not see the need to stop sacrifices. If it was up to Tzora, they'd be sacrificing people left and right for the will of the spirits! When the Mizimu fell into decline, Tzora began experimenting with the occult on her own. She successfully 'summoned' a great spirit of guilt, and had a litter of cubs with him. She ordered Godlum to sacrifice the remaining cub after Elcca and ?? ran away, intent on gaining their power.
Tzora is a rather sadistic woman, who uses her almost angelic appearance to her advantage. She has considerable control over Godlum, who follows her unquestioningly.

History:
Son of the god of darkness. Godlum left his birth pride of the Mizimu to hunt his father down. His search resulted in only shadows. While out and about, he had cubs with a Nergui woman, resulting in Miah.
Godlum is neurotic, and rarely sleeps at night. His insomnia is quite severe, and at times he's only barely lucid. He returned to the pride during the Dhati conflict, although he was initially accused of running prey off the lands.
Despite being a loyal member of the Mizimu, Godlum fell under Tzora's spell and began to listen to her beliefs exclusively. He is less of a mate to Tzora, and more of a henchman/bodyguard. He's so wrapped up in Tzora's plotting that whoever he originally was seems to have entirely vanished.

A "real b***h" is probably the best way to describe Shez. She's so bitter and mean that even other hyenas can't stand her usually. And it isn't just that she's mean- she's not even very good at being evil. All of her plans fall through, she always ends up the one getting the short stick. And she hates it. But nothing she seems to do betters her situation, and winds her up even more angry. She gave birth to a single child, but threw him away once she felt he was eating too much of her food. Was mauled by Atreyu for attacking Marzi- and since then, has been having recurring ailments because of her wounds.

Muhali returned to the pride to inform the group of his findings, and also shed light on the strange figure he'd seen roaming the swamps.
