1. The Immortals series by Tamora Pierce (Everything by her really, but that particular quartet is my favorite!)
2. Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix
3. The Summoner by Gail Z. Martin
4. The Otherland series by Tad Williams (many would argue this is Sci-fi, but so much fantasy is incorporated into it, I consider it a hybrid between the 2 genres)
5. Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon

2. Trickster's Queen and Trickster's Choice
3. The Theif Lord
4. Percy Jackson and the Olympians
5. Maximum Ride (Although I guess that's SciFi confused )

I've read so much and now nothing will come back to me!! And I've moved overseas and all my book are in storage crying

These are a few I could remember, so I must have really liked them!

1. The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant The Unbeliever. A bit dark but riveting. He also has a series called The Gap that is as good but more a space setting.
2. David Gemmell's Drenai novels....especially Druss The Legend, he rocks.
3. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Classic, I remember this sent my imagination into overdrive as a child.
4. Bitterbynde Series, I read a while back and liked very much
5. Katherine Kerr has a series that I liked enough to buy ages ago and now can't remember the name of.....so vague.
6. Ooh some are coming back. Shapechanger by Jennifer Roberson. Is a fairly large series I haven't read all the books yet.

Sorry these may not be my all time favourites, but they are up there in my list of must reads. smile

Just FIVE???? Well, let's see...

1) The Immortals series by Tamora Pierce
2) Pellinor; a series by Alison Croggon (and I LOVE IT!!!)
3) Inkheart & Inkspell
4) The Guardians of Time series by Marianne Curley
5) So You Want to be a Wizard series by Diane Duane (though it does get boring after #3)

Read all of Tamora Pierce's books, but make sure you read them IN ORDER!! ( For anyone whom doesn't know - Alanna; Daine; Kel; Ally; that is the order (I just put whom the book is about, not the actual series name.)) I agree with all those who said that Diane Duane's series gets a bit boring after #3 and my favorite is #2!!! (Even though my favorite character does die crying ...like all of my favorites)
