Wow. My first Poe story was 'A cask of Amontillado'. Since then everyone else in my Honors English found him to be a stupid emo with problems while I adored his work. (My classmates are SO close-minded...)

I've read a few more, but Amontillado is still my favourite.

I heard "Anabell Lee" performed by The Cruxshadows, and it's amazing. Ya'll should look it up.
They also did some others, like "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carrol.

I actually do like Poe.
Very great work, amazing to read.
Creates a very nice feeling after every time you read his work too.

But I would have to say,
My heart goes to H. P. Lovecraft
I'm not quite sure, but I think Poe was one of Lovecraft's inspirations.

I love the poems Raven and Annebelle Lee,The story the tell-tale heart,is extremely interesting.
Ditto. I absolutely love Poe's poems and stories. The Telltale Herat and The Cats of Amontillado were great, as was The Masque of the Red Death. but I'm extremely in love with his poetry.

I've heard about him, and actually had to do some things in class about him. He could rhyme pretty well.

I love Poe. I have a great big book, "The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe". Though I haven't read nearly enough of it. I'd say among my favorites are the Raven, the Masque of Red Death, and the Tell-Tale Heart.

I have all his stuff. I really like 'The Cask of Amontillado'. My brother and sister had to read it for a class, but I don't think they really got it. I really liked 'The Masqu of the Red Death', and though I forget hat iot was caled it was about a man coveting a bride.
