Walking up to the area she had been introduced to a few days before as her new training grounds, Izumi turned her head to search for someone to assist her. Unfortunately, she saw no such person in the immediate area. Perhaps she had come to late? Settling herself on the ground, the dark skinned female began to play with the snow absentmindedly. Someone would come eventually. They had to. Right? The Maru female allowed her mind to wander for the time being. She'd be ready to begin training hard when whoever was there to teach her made their presence known.

Standing up, the female Maru dusted her behind off from the bits of powder that clung to her deep blue jacket. Walking herself on over to the one who claimed them-self as a teacher, Izumi bowed her head a bit. "I'm looking to be taught. I've never had any training before." With her dark hair and complexion, it was easy to tell which of the two water tribes she was naturally born into. Having moved to the Northern Tribe's area when she was very young for a better chance at learning waterbending, this was the place she called home. A smile was still plastered on the female's lips as she awaited a reply from her teacher.

"excellent. Let's get started than! You'll get to learn about the water in no time." Bob smiled to her in her competition. He spread his legs and arms at ready. "Now watch closely miss." He warned her before easily pull out a bit of water from the lake at the center of the training area. He waved his arms in a smooth motion, the flouting water circle around and in a calming control ad his bending controlling the actual liquid. As he was moving his hands, his feet are in motion too, with a simple spin around his body just before he send it out tours a dummy with a slash.

He grabbed another blub of water again but kept it sedy right up to his chest with one hand holding it. With the other hand, with a simple flick the water where send off like a bullet and hitting their target. Lastly with the last bit of the water, he use only one arm to have it send flying tours the dummy like a cannon, But once it did hit the dummy, Bob pulled the water and have it send back tours him and back to his side. "I would like you to learn all of those move I have just shown you. This is the traditional waterbending style and the skills it has with it. Water bending is about the flow of the life cycle and motion. Life force do not stay still for life must continue on. Water is a big thing, since the ocean controls the life of the planet. We; the water benders; are blessed to be gifted of bending the water just as it dose it self for the planet."

He explain a little to give a little help. "Now, if you need any help, feel free to look up the scrolls to look over the steps." He pointed out.

Nodding as her teacher told her to pay attention, the tiny bodied female mimicked the male's body movements, albeit much slower, as best she could. The first thing he had done was rather strange to her, but seeing it was beautiful none the less. It seemed to far-fetched to the teen that someone could move it so simply, as though it was nothing but an extension of themselves. Closing her eyes, the Maru child attempted to calm her body's over-excited nature to the point where she could concentrate without any sort of problem. It was her one downfall when she was younger in her attempt to learn waterbending.

Her mind was racing with memories of her past attempts. At four was when she attended her first waterbending teaching session, and failed miserably. Another drawn out breath was released as her eyes opened; her hands began to move in a liquid motion as she was taught when she was young. It was a lot easier now due to the fact her arms were much thinner and longer and no longer looked like tiny stubs when she looked into the water. The girl's baby blues closed slowly as she concentrated further on what it was she was doing. Izumi's right leg slid lightly across the compacted snow they used as their training ground around her body until it was directly behind her, although her body was still facing the same way.

Drawing another breath into her growing chest, the female waterbender in training began to try and lift up a small amount of water from the area that her teacher had. It was a tad weird for her to try and raise up water, a skill that had never come to her before. Sadly for the Maru, only a small ripple was her prize for her attempt. With a sigh, the girl gave up her ready position and slouched her shoulders a tad. Looking over at her teacher, she furrowed her brows slightly. It was quickly gone as she steeled her will once more and began to breathe slow and steady.

Coming into her ready stance, Izumi began to hum to herself quietly. The sound was loud enough for her teacher to hear if he listened enough. Soft, sweet, and gentle; the tune was something calming. The girl's voice added to the soothing sensation the song often had to herself, along with her family when she sang for them. A smile slid across her cherry blossom colored lips as she centered herself. To be able to control a basic element would be godly as well as a blessing. Although it depended on how she used her gift rather than the basic form of it in the first place.

Liquidating her body once again, she slid her leg around her body- creating a visible line on the powder of the snow. With the song of new life drifting in the air, the female seemed to be dancing in her own little world. And what a beautiful and amazing world it was behind those dark skinned lids of her's. Another swirl of her body caused her black silken tendrils to twirl around her tiny, well formed, body in a mesmeric manner. The female Maru was truly a sight to be seen for a beginner. With the heart and soul of a true waterbender, the female found no greater pleasure than to learn about the craft. With her eyes open wide and a look of pure happiness on her face, she raised her hand upwards, a small, misshapen orb of water raised along with it.

As soon as it was raised-it fell, along with her look. At least it was more than she could do those years before. Forcing the beat of her heart to calm, she prepped herself for another try. It was becoming easier for her to get into the flow of the movements now, and Izumi was more than confident she could get these things down before too long. The young woman was a rather quick learner at everything else she dunked her hand into, and she was excited to add waterbending to that list. Raising her hand upwards, her wrist bent downwards at first, slowly sliding upwards towards the sky before her elbow bent forwards, drawing the liquid ball towards her body.

As soon as the ball began to move away from the source, it began to quiver, causing Izumi to remember she needed to be calm before she could do it well. As her breathing became steady, as did the form of the ball of water she held aloft about two feet above the water source that her blue haired teacher had drawn from in his own bending. Soft lips parted ever so slightly as she watched the orb of liquid shift and swirl within itself, the outside almost looking as solid as a regular ball. The Maru was already one for tranquility and didn't associate herself with a lot of violence. In fact, most anger causes the girl to turn her head and leave the other way.

Needless to say, she was definitely born a waterbender. Other than the Air Nomads, there could be no other form of bending that would dictate itself by the personality and calmness of its user. Fire was far too much of a challenge for her personality and body type, and as for earth, it was much too... 'solid' for her. Liquid was the purest form of life on the earth, and something to be honored and treated with respect and love. Yes, Izumi was definitely born to the right bending. Her thoughts of purity only helped to solidify her bending as the ball moved itself closer towards her body. As soon as it came up to her chest, the girl swirled her hands around it, testing the solidity and capability she had to control the texture and swirls within her orb.

In the instant she was sure it was more than capable, she sent it hurdling towards the dummy that her teacher had aimed his own. The dummy did nothing more than bend slightly at the force. Bristling with the calm excitement she was known for within her close family, she rapidly pulled another orb from the water source and began to practice going a bit faster at her withdrawl and aiming abilities. This time, when she sent the water flying towards the dummy, she purposely missed so that she could test how close she could bring it to the back of it without letting it dissipate into the snowy floor the three people there were standing upon.

Blinking, the girl was amazed at the range at which she could control the water ball. Most of the water she saw had a trail of liquid bubbles following after it or had a tail while her's did not. It was solid, as though a thin layer of ice covered it without being seen and kept it from becoming incapable of being handled for the beginner. Was she doing it right? Or wrong? Was this normal? Was she supposed to form it like her teacher 'exactly' as his had been or was this some odd deformation she had found due to her inability to do waterbending as a child? Bringing the solid-looking ball of water towards herself, she swirled it around her body once before letting it rip through the air towards the dummy.

With a splash, the orb was gone. What else had he shown her? Oh, yes, she remembered. A well toned left leg slid itself back while water gathered itself near her body thanks to the help of her left hand. As the water was gathered, she began to aim with her free hand towards the dummy. As soon as the gathering was finished, which was only a handful of seconds, the girl brought her left hand and positioned it at the side (and slightly below her right), clasping all her fingers together except her middle and index fingers- both of which were currently aimed at the dummy that was soon to scream 'ow'.

As she got the first few actions of what she had been showed down, she prepped herself for the next step. She needed to aim at where she wanted to hit on the dummy, as well as concentrate on how much water she wanted to put into each bullet she was trying to aim. Making sure to do nothing more than a small droplet at first to test just how well she could do it, she sent the bullet of liquid hurdling towards the dummy. A small ripple of its body was all she got out of it. Again, the female sent another bullet (slightly bigger than the first) towards the thing to see it move only slightly more. With no sign of a smile on her lips, she drew a slightly bigger bullet that held its size at about three inches long and an inch and a half thick into position and sent it flying towards the thing's chest. The rebound it had to take at the force was rather entertaining for her.

The only thing left to be done was the weird push and pull action of the water he had used on the dummy in the last bit he did. Using the water that she still had on hand, she had the liquid form around her hands as she got into the position he had done. 'Horse Stance' or 'Saddle Stance' was what they had called it back when she was four. Perhaps because that's the way you rode on large animals when you saddled them up for a trip. Taking in a breath the female sent out her fist towards the dummy and watched as the water went along with it. As soon as the water hit the dummy, she retracted her punch to her side, her palm facing upwards. Izumi's other hand then took it's turn.

It had already been in the ready position at her left side when she sent it flying forwards, rotating her wrist so that her punch looked like a normal one once it was in front of her. No sign of the smile she had before was on her lips now that she was nearing the end of what he had told her to do. From what she could see, the other guy who had come up was not as far as she had gotten, but she wasn't sure. The black haired girl was far too focused on what it was she was doing to be bothered about turning to the side to look at another learning kid. She went through this action another time or two before she returned her gaze to her teacher and bowed her head.

"I'm ready for whatever else it is you have to teach me now."

"Excellent work darling. Hard work well done! You deserve a cookie." Bob pull one out from his pocket and handed to the girl. "Okay, I best say we should move on to something. A special use for many waterbender alike is by soothing body with it as the medical healing use... Here, have a look of the scroll." He hand her the scroll about the body and healing bending. "Little girls should learned these but that aria changed since woman can fight now. You know how to control the water and understand it a bit, now you must know how to use it in the body. Learn of the body first, than Water Flow... After that, any of the healing use can be tested on yourself of any of your 'owy's' or best at over to our Healing Hut. " He gave her all the needed thing she need to know.

A smile crossed the female's lips as she watched her teacher retrieve a cookie out of his pocket to hand to her as a reward. She began to nibble it delicately with the knowledge that too much sweets were bad for the body and needed to be taken in moderation along with healthy items. It was the best moment for the male teacher to begin her on the very water bending session on the health of the body. Still nibbling on her prize, she watched him get a scroll out and hold it out to her.

Taking it into her hand, she left the cookie hanging out of her mouth as she unrolled the scroll to have a peek at what was inside. A small picture of a waterbender was the only thing she got a glimpse at before she closed it up and listened to whatever else it was that he had to say. His mentioning the fact most waterbending females learned this at a young age caused her to physically shrink up a little bit in her spot before him. Was he expecting her to have already grasped the basic steps of this thing beforehand? Was he wanting to just jump right into the training of pure ability right now? As his words continued, it became obvious that he didn't straight up expect it from her.

She knew the basics of water bending and was able to move it around all she liked (as far as she could tell). When the male finished his speech about heading to the Healing Hut when she was done reading through the scroll, she nodded to him to let him know that she was listening to everything that he was saying to her. If she did head over that way, she would only be there for a short time before she returned to learn more from him. Perhaps she could train on someone in the area instead of heading all the way over there just to learn a few things. Most of it was going to be just going through the motion anyway. Looking around her, there was nobody other than the teacher, herself and the other male person in the area. Perhaps by the time she was ready to do what she needed there would be more people in the immediate area. Or perhaps not, who knew?

With a sigh of pent up energy, the girl sat down in her spot that she had been in before the light blue haired guy got into the area. Taking the time to finish her cookie, Izumi looked around and enjoyed the sight of the powdery streets and buildings of ice and packed snow. A land of winter forever trapped in time and space. The only thing that could ever change this perfect place would be something terrifying and horrid. Thankfully, this place was well protected by the waterbenders of the land.

As the cookie came to an end- as did her relaxation time. The female unrolled the scroll so that just enough of it was able to be read at any single given time. The scroll only covered the basics of how water bending would be able to be used as a form of healing specialization. The only thing she was really looking for was the bit where she could learn how to coagulate the water into the form it needed to be in order to carry the abilities to heal. There was a few seconds of skimming through before she finally found it.

The water needed to soak into the skin and find its pathway through the needed area and saturate the entire thing. It was pretty simple, but as she read on, the amount of water performing this task varied by the slightest degree due to the size and nature of the wound at hand. It would pretty much be guess work at first for newly learning healers seeing as how it was hard to just explain how much water would be needed at that particular time. The female's lips began to quiver as she read through the scroll further. Soon enough she was finished with it and had learned all she could. Standing, Izumi walked over and held out the scroll to the male.

"I don't think I need this anymore."

[I'll be heading to bed for the night. I'll finish my skills in the morning. I'd be much grateful if you could assign her something to do for when she's finished with that. If you can't, though, thank you for your help tonight <3 ]

Sadly I don't have any wounds on my right now and it's not right of hurting our self's now." He go's on for what to do for the young lady. "Head over to the Healing hut. "If you are ready to gain a higher level to Novice, come back to me and I'll gladly to help you out with that too. Though be ready, because you wont know what you'll have to do once I tell you." He gave a friendly smile with that warning in mind. The test can be anything so she better be prepare once she come back to him.

Listening quietly to what the teacher had to say, Izumi felt a bit disheartened when she was ordered to the Healing Hut in order to do anything further. It would be a bit of a walk to get there and not only that, but yet another walk back. It would give her time to relax, but it would also take away from her learning time. Though it probably would be best for her to have a break after she finished. That is, if she wasn't geared up and ready to go for her test to become able to learn higher level tricks. Now that Bob had finished his lesson with her, Izumi turned on a heel and began to trail her way towards the Healing Hut she had passed on her way to get to the Training Grounds. She had been there once or twice herself when her brother had accidentally hit her during one of their hunting sessions, so it wasn't going to be something completely new to her, just really boring.

Walking into the training area, Izumi found her place before Bob. "I'm ready for my test now, Sir." The female stood with her hands clasped behind her back, ready for whatever it was that Bob had to give her.

Bob look up from reading a scroll and respond with a small smile. Standing up, he putted his scroll away to pay attention to her. "Ready are you? Very well, I hope your ready for a cold chill." He chuckle a bit. He moved his arms about and bend up a open ice gate door, leading to the open frozen waist land. "To earn your tittle to Novice in Norther water tribe, it's traditional that a freshly new grown kids to go out into the wild and bring back a Buffalo Yak. Now I know what you're thinking, but there's a good reason for this. In the frozen Northpole, there's nothing but ocean and ice so you must use all you can to survive. Buffalo Yaks' are well adoptable creators that is common here but also wild. You must find a way find one of these and tame them then come right back with it. As a water tribe that understand the water circle that is life, you mustn't harm any of them. We must respect everything and everyone." He have out the detail of the young lady's mission. "I wish you the best of luck."

Watching intently as the male opened a door for her, Izumi tried to swallow the knot that was growing in her throat. She listened to what it was he had to say, but found herself disliking the idea of getting herself a ...pet...Especially a buffalo yak. It was a beautiful creature, yes, but it seemed so large and wild. Her family had a Polar Bear Dog when they lived in the Southern Tribe when she was young, but she barely remembered the creature at all. Nodding none-the-less at whatever it was he was saying, she wasn't paying much attention at this point. As he wished her luck, she stepped forward, out into the snowy plains she was sure to grow to fear.
