"I was wondering sensei, what methods this school has discovered to become 'rich,' and why we're spending the new money on frivilous things like 'vacations,' when we could use it to improve other departments of the school that badly need assistance..." Just how much money did the school have, now? Was it enough to fund both a trip to china and improve the school's academies? Seto could go on a vacation whenever he wanted to--he didn't have to do it through the school. Even though it was nice that someone else was offering to pay for it, he wasn't sure how well that sat from his perspective. If something fishy was going on, and the media caught a whiff of it--and that he was involved--it could be disastorous to his stocks...Mothers wouldn't want their children buying from a labeled criminal...

Ah, who gives! We're going to CHINA!!!Yami, at least, was in a good mood. he, of course, never worried about moral values or anyting such as that.

The principal stared at Seto, he may have been a honor student, but he could sure destroy a good mood. Letting out a small sigh, he continued to smile, "Believe me Kaiba-san..we have enough to fund both the school and this trip. If we did not have enough money for both, I would not have offered the trip. And to answer your first question, I won the lottery. Thinking of the lottery, I'm sure you understnad how much this school has gained." he replied calmly. Surprised that the two boys did not notice the scarps of loser tickets spread over his carpet and desk. Sure enough the janitor would clean that up before he left, unless like the others he was long gone. Standing from his chair he began to walk around the room, a smile still clear on his face. "Now, do you have any other reguards to the trip Kaiba-san?" he asked calmly, not even Kaiba could keep him from his high.

Tachi sensei let out a small gasp, he was slightly shocked. But he wasn't too surprised, seemed as if Duke had a vivid memory of their time together. He couldnt help but think of this as a way to smite him, or pity him. Either way, he gave a small smile to him. "I would love to, thank you for inviting me." he replied simply. He knew he had to restrain himself, no matter how hard it was becoming.

Bakura's eyes went wide with shock. That would explain the many scraps of paper on the floor and desk.
Ah, darn. Kaiba had me going there for a second. I'd hopped the principal had robbed a bank or somehting. Bakura gave Yami a mental elbow in the ribs. Trust him to think everyone else was as much of a thief as himself.

"Good. I'll be going home now, convincing my dad I'm allowed to go in the first place." Duke replied smiling.
"Crap... I completely forgot about that... Maybe I can make him believe I'm staying over at Ray's..."
He walked out without looking back, as he did every so often.

Walking home, he realized it may have been a little mean of him to invite his teacher just to make him feel special without any sincere good intentions.
"Ah, well... I'll make it up somehow, someday..."

As Tea entered her home, she found her mum doing sit-ups as usual.
"Hey mum! Schookl went rich and I'll be going to China! I'll be upstairs now!"
Her mum didn't bother looking up from the video tape with peopel working out she was watching.

Bakura stared at the ceiling, wondering who he sould bring with him on the trip to China.

Seto stood in silence a second while he considered Sensei had just said.* He claimed that he'd won the lottery... and there certainly were a lot of lottery tickets on the desk... Still the chance was one out of...and it was gambling, basically. He was gambling with the school money in the hopes of winning... How ridiculous. He couldn't be seen as someone who supported gambling--this type of gambling--because it could be argued that life itself was a gamble, and people took their gains for granted.*

"How long...?" Seto asked, "Until we leave? How long are we going to be there? What are we going to be doing while we're there? Just--a vacation? Or are we going to be doing something educational geared...?"

The principal smiled at Seto, he asked so many questions. "Well there are many things you would learn in China, not nessasarly all school based, but more on life as well. But that is something you will have to understand in the future. To answer all your other questions, I believe I have stated that a letter would be sent to your residence answering all of your questions." he stated relaxing in his chair. He was hoping to leave soon, once the two boys left his office. "I was planning on it to be just a time to unwind, but you are quiet capable on learning things in China if that is what your expecting. Though you are able to go on vacation at whim, it would be nice to go without having to do it for school. But I plan to provide tours for you to take to learn if that is what you prefer. Now if you will excuse me I must go. I have many calls to make and arragiments to make. You should enjoy your day off Kaiba-san, you've worked hard all year." he stated still smiling. Before he cleaned up and escorted(sp?) them out of his office.

Well... that pretty much answered all my questions... Bakura commented. Yami yawned.
Can we go home and go to sleep now? Yami asked. Bakura knew that if Yami went to sleep, he would be in a daze for the rest of the day. That was one of the downdsides of sharing a mind with someone else; there actions affected you, and not always pleasently.
No... I was going to go work on that role-play plot. Bakura answered as he walked home, still wondering who he should bring.

Marik sat in Bakura's living room, wondering when the goof was going to get home.
For the King of Theives, he sure has easily-picked locks. Yami Marik commented.
Marik sighed. "I had a key you dolt." He muttered under his breath. He had to talk to Bakura about something, and tis waiting business was rather annoying.

Tristan woke up, showered, and sat at this kitchen table, sulking. "Since when is Joey an honor student?" He growled, his anger growing with every breath.

When Duke got home, he found his father's car wasn't on the drive way.
"Good, he's not there."
He walked in, and found his mother in the kitchen.
She was cooking, apparently, but she left the stove the moment she noticed him.
"Привет любимая, хорошая видеть Вы дома. Я имею взгляд для Вас весь день, Вы знаете? Я делаю Вас вашей любимой закуской, но я на полпути не сделан. Я ожидал, что Вы придут домой намного позже. " she said, as she hugged him.

Duke simply smiled, nodded, and got her arms off of him.

"She's lived here for seventeen years... And yet, dad won't allow her to learn the local language."

Bakura is wandering the streets of Domino City, reluctant to go home and just sit there all day. That, and something about this whole trip is beginning to bother him greatly. Yami feels it too, but says nothing.

It's a school day, you fool. Yami-no-Marik chuckles darkly. Marik makes one of those clasic anime "Ho sh*t" faces. Yami just laughs even more.

Tristain decides to call up Joey in a few days and ask him about the trip. After all, details will be needed for his plan to actually work.
