There is a terrible ringing noise in all students' ears. All throughout the school, especially off campus, Students find themselves with a vicious hunger for revenge against both terrible acts and minor slights. All throughout Amityville, students would find themselves consumed by dreams of bloody vengeance. The curse lasts until sunrise the next morning.

Exception: If you were cursed by a "black seed", your student instead, feels exceptionally powerful (feels, not actually is) and arrogant. They feel like they can accomplish anything.

This new HORSEMEN EXPANSION explains everything from job classes, tasks, new motives, the re-purposing of Distortion, mounts, and pretty much EVERYTHING horsemen. We have 10000% rehauled the old horsemen info thread so that everything you need and want and can do with horsemen is in this new thread. There are a whole bunch of new objectives for horsemen to do, and they now have the ability to rp both in the Halloween AND Deus Ex subforums (see info in thread below). It even comes with t-shirt graphics and templates to design your mounts with hooray!

WELCOME TO CHARACTER FLASHBACK WEEK!

From now until TUESDAY, every FLASHBACK RP ([ FLASHBACK RP/PRP/SOLO ]) you write is +2 RP points as long as it goes over 600 words!

gaia_crown [ WHAT IS A FLASHBACK? ] Flashback is all about your character's past, what makes them click, think how they do, and react in the way they do. To create a more cohesive RP theme to work with, we are asking you to RP what happened to your character BEFORE they enrolled in Amityville/ had their Horsemen islands blown up/ became a Hunter at Deus. It is before they arrived at the current present timeline. It defines how your character feels now, and outlines their interactions they had in the past!

gaia_crown [ HOW DO I WRITE A FLASHBACK? ] If you already strongly feel a flashback theme with your character, you can go ahead and start it off! Otherwise, below is a list of flashback/backstory questions for you to explore in your RP! What it is is up to you, this is you fleshing out your OWN character. You can write this in DRABBLE, SOLO, or even PRP format. The sky is the limit.

gaia_crown [ FLASHBACK DRABBLE ] Drabbles are noted for their brief, short approach. It doesn't have to be a cohesive story, and you can start your own drabble thread exploring different flashback/backstory themes of your character, creating multiple posts. Flashback drabbles can also be joined with other characters who you think are ICly relevant. This can be in the form of other player's characters (for example: My char A and my friend's char B used to date before their horsemen islands blew up, here is their RP story) or you may introduce your own "player npc" characters who were part of your story (Ie: this is the story of my character and their butler Jim). Make sure the flashback player NPCs keep within shop regulations as characters that are used for plot, not actual characters you own (IE: your character's parents, sister, family, etc). Please do not use actual shop NPCs unless you have requested it from a GM

gaia_crown [ FLASHBACK SOLO ] Solo rps work in the same way as drabbles, except it explores a longer overall flashback segment in a story format. You may incorporate player npcs (ie: family, friends) as you wish!

gaia_crown [ FLASHBACK PRP] Flashback PRPs involve existing player characters (characters you or others own) in the current timeline that your character was involved with in the past. Were they siblings? Did they meet each other one fated day? That is entirely up to you.

gaia_crown [ FLASHBACK QUESTIONS ] Here are some topics that may be relevant to your character's flashback. Feel free to use them in your flashback RPS!

gaia_star Student: What did your student do prior to coming to Amityville?
gaia_star Student: Your student's family/life/etc
gaia_star Student: How was your student created?
gaia_star Student: Detail a bit of your student's old home
gaia_star Student: What was it like for your student growing up?
gaia_star Hunter: Who recruited your Hunter and how did it go?
gaia_star Hunter: How were the Hunter Trials for your character?
gaia_star Hunter: What did your Hunter do prior to Deus?
gaia_star Hunter: What was it like for your Hunter to witness shadows?
gaia_star Horseman: What role did your horseman take prior to the clans blowing up?
gaia_star Horseman: Did your horseman ever visit the old islands? What was it like?
gaia_star Horseman: Did your horseman have relatives that are now gone?
gaia_star Horseman: What was it like for your horsemen to grow up/to train/ to become part of that clan and accept their role?

gaia_crown [ FLASHBACK BACKSTORY QUESTIONS ] Here are some questions to ask your part character! Your character is as rich as you wish to make them, so go wild and create some new and reexplore some old connections and create a reason it exists. We all know your headcanons are absolutely bursting with knowledge, let's see it all fleshed out!
