The Death lead looked extremely unimpressed and just a little more pissed off. Perhaps. "Congratulations," It was almost a half-snarl, the stellar condition of everything going on perhaps contributing to his mood, "You know how to ******** use your ******** eyes."
Bul was entirely ignored, and upon hearing tales of trainees running off, it was questionable as to whether or not Otto would actually survive post-mission, assuming he survived the current Insanity problem: right out of the pot and into the fire. About to say something else, he paused, as if listening to someone else. "Very well." This was probably addressed to either the fog or his weapon and hopefully it was the latter. "If the thresholds have been reset - "His eyes flickered to Bul just for a second - "Then it won't be long before every single specimen follows."
There was that distinct, pointed feeling that he was leaving out crucial bits of information, or really whatever the hell was going on again. At the most, the words were extremely vague breadcrumbs. Several fog tendrils curled around the group again, attempting to consume them whole, already forming into a gigantic half-maw -
- Only to be snapped back once more. "If you are done standing here being useless then you will follow me back to regroup. I will commence an updated debriefing."
The Death lead promptly left, though incidentally the fog seemed to give him a rather generous berth, instead, aiming for the trainees. Suddenly, following him was just several hundred times harder than usual.
OOC ESCAPING THE FOG:- While they were exchanging dialogue, a rather large buildup of fog - almost sentient - has occurred - All players must roll 1d100 to escape the walls of fog closing in. If you roll 70 or less you end up feeling something grabbing at you: half-formed limbs with eyes sticking out from each melting finger, the greys whispering at you to come home. - Just keep on rolling until you escape! If so, you end up here- It is up to Bul whether or not he wants to follow the Hunters back to the tent: currently the barrier is only set up against Insanity and not Fear so he could wander inside... however....

Sigh. Giving Cael a status report never really went well. It didn't seem like he was ever satisfied with whatever he was given. Though, the thing he mentioned regarding a threshold and specimens and stuff did not sound good. Was the infection rate picking up even more quickly? That was... rather concerning.
Fidgeting a bit, he nodded to his lead.
"Y-yes sir," he said quietly before looking towards the others. As he looked to them, he noticed that the fog seemed to be thicker than usual. Or was it his imagination? With a sort of frown, he also looked towards Bul, not sure what to say to the poor kid. He was terrified. And quite frankly, he did not blame him for not wanting to be alone in this situation. He wished there was something he could do, but he wasn't sure if having him come with would be a really good idea.
Letting out a sigh, he just trudged along to see what this debrief was all about. Though, while he walked, he felt something latch onto him. And for a moment, he thought it might have been Bul. Looking though, he saw limbs coming out of the fog. As well as eyes. Staring right into him.
"Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......" he kind of whined while trying to shake the foggy disembodied hand from his foot, "G-g--guys... fog's..acting.. weird....."
