Princess' Name & Meaning: Agaue - Greek for "Illustrious; noble."

Their story: Lebbaios and Agaue met a a young age, though not through typical circumstances. Lebbaios was placed with the heavy burden of becoming Agaue's guardian, from a very young age. The two were introduced soon after the Princess was born, Lebbaios being only a few months older than she was. Poor Lebbaios wasn't given much choice in his life's path. Having been the largest, and bulkiest cub to have been born recently, he was saddled with the responsibility quite easily. As the two grew, so did Lebbaios' loyalty to the princess, despite her spitfire attitude and spoiled rotten mannerisms.

As the two grew, Agaue became more rebllious, sneaking off at all hours of the night. Frequently slipping from Leb's grasp, and never showing remorse for her actions. Instead picking at him for allowing such actions to happen. It was on one such outing, that the unthinkable happened. Agaue become pregnant, and against the better advice of Leb, Agaue outed herself to her parents. Admitting that the Father was an unknown male, and not Lebbaios as everyone was to expect. As a result Agaue was ostracised from her pride, given the boot and told to never return. Leb, unable to sit by a watch his princess leave alone stood up for her. Something highly unexpected, and severely looked down upon. As a result, Leb was ostracized as well, which was exactly what he had hoped for.

Leb happily followed Agaue from the pride, regardless of whether she wanted his company or not. He had pledged his life to her from such a young age, without her, his life was forfeit. As the two travelled, their skills began to benefit one another quite nicely. Leb - having never been one for words, took a backseat to Agaue's spitfire hormonal insults. While Agaue took a backseat to Leb's brute force. Everything seemed to be working just fine, until the day came when Agaue began to become exhausted after even the slightest bit of activity. Leb knew her due date must be fast approaching, and knew the two needed a safe place to buckle down.

After stowing Agaue away in a den, Leb left out on his own to find her some dinner. But what he found was far beyond his luckiest dreams. It all seemed to happen so fast, it almost didn't seem real. One minute he was chasing a prey beast, they next he was flat on his back. Blindsided by a smaller lion. Confused, Leb rolled the male off of him and stood ready to attack - demanding an explanation! The two males then got into a long winded conversation, involving a very not so happy Leb.

During the conversation, the male introduced himself as a guard for the Peponi-pya. Leb introduced himself as a soon to be Father, with a mate who would soon require safety for more than just herself. Upon discovering his mate's pregnancy the guard offered the two sanctuary within the pride. Assuring Leb that his cubs and mate would be safe there. Leb's anger finally subsided with the offer, and he agreed to bring his mate back her to this very spot to meet him. The two then departed ways, with a promise to meet again soon.

Personality:
Raised by a loving family and pride, Hephaestus is a sweet and caring girl. At a young age she’ll try to tend to those around; doing her best to see to their physical and emotional hurts as best she can. She can’t see someone in pain and not do anything about it. Perhaps some will think she is suited for the healer class with her tender loving care, but her paws will lead her directly to the crafters.

Hephaestus has an eye for fitting the right stone with the right lion, cheetah, whatever comes her way. Call it a gut feeling. That piece of malachite will be much better than that piece over there. She loves doing what does, and does what she loves. Nothing suits her better than feeling the metalwork under her paws come to life. Don’t get her talking about her work or she’ll wax on the subject for hours. Hope your rump doesn’t get sore!

Life is not always roses and crystals. Hephaestus has a firm view on what she believes to be Wrong. Squish it. She does not allow Wrongs to go on in her presence. Even as a cub she’ll stand up for those too weak or scared to do it for themselves. On the other paw, for those bullied and pushed around she will do her best to give them a little backbone. It does them no good if she’s always coming to the rescue.

Nothing makes her madder than seeing a Wrong in her own pride. Getting the situation to stop just isn’t enough for her; she will continue after the offender by any means necessary to show them why they were wrong. Gentle persuasion, talks with their victim, or by darn persistence she will wear them down to seeing things her way.

Future Plot Ideas:
- She’ll get a maned wolf familiar to guard her and her work (as one of Hephaestus’ animals is the guard dog)
- Two peas in a pod/Cats and Dogs- Are her and her twin friends or enemies? Something could happen that changes it to the opposite
- We shall right Wrongs!- Her and her twin hear about some wrong being committed and decide to do something about it. The pair leaves for a couple of weeks to put it to rights.
- Bad Boy- A lion cub that she finds doing something wrong and nags him thru until adulthood and he sees right. Potentially her future mate?

Her Story:
Mfupa wandered through pride lands and abandoned plains alike for most of her years. Not long ago, she crossed over the border of the Aikanaro'hini. The "Demon pride," she'd been told. Not so scary. Mfupa lived closely alongside death, narrowly avoiding it on many occasions, and often through unsavory means... It wasn't unheard of or wholly uncommon for males who took over a pride to kill the cubs of the lion he deposed to bring the females back into heat and ensure less competition for his own seed. And what better source of energy to produce the next litter? Or at least that's the way of life that Mfupa was acquainted with.

In her first day of wandering she came across a large lavender lion and a black lioness cloaked in cloth and skull. They said they were members of the pride, demons themselves. They challenged her and questioned her intentions. Something about them resonated within Mfupa. She told them, and through the bone helm, the lioness looked upon her with knowing eyes. Did she have a demon, too? The pair seemed to believe it was a possibility. They invited her to join them in the pride's inner territory, meet others. Perhaps talk to one of the priests. The one of Moriafer, the two agreed. Naturally, of course! Mfupa had not grown up religious, she trusted their judgement.

On their journey into the pride, Mfupa told them about herself. Where she came from (nowhere, really. Or maybe everywhere?). Her family (none, well, at least she never knew them beyond the time she was weaned). The lions seemed none too bothered by this. Like she'd have it in common with a few of the other pride members. Mfupa began to feel something else foreign. Was it optimism? She talked on and on, her stories getting more detailed and vivid the longer she talked to her guides and they became familiar with one another. And then she began to tell them of the last place she spent any real time in. The desert, and the lioness she lived there with, and what she learned. Then, seemingly unrelated and as if on a tangent, she told the lions a story. Somehow that led into how she almost starved to death once, but she met a lion who was also struggling, and she survived. Didn't mention anything about the other fellow, though. The pair grew quiet and seemed uneasy. Had she said something wrong? She fell silent, too.

But upon entering the pride and meeting more members, from the more timid demon-inhabited folk to the cold and spiteful, it instantly felt like home. Other lions guided her to finding her demon within, but it seemed it'd always been there. Her two guides seemed to avoid her at all opportunities, which was slightly disappointing.

The position of Ra'alme seemed made for her. She loves her job, though she's come to the understanding that most others don't really want to hear about why or how much she loves it. She's a frequent patron of the Kurwa and Kurwa'e of the pride. It seems her visits are connected to when she preforms her duties. Well, it's better not to ask. Ignorance is bliss.

Her Story:Vepris is a restless soul, all her life she has been wandering around. Never just content to be in one place for any length of time she feels the world comes to a grinding halt when shes stuck in a location for too long. Despite her rather lonely demeanor she often finds that males are naturally attracted to her, shes not sure why tho. She doesn't feel like she has feature befitting an attractive lioness, or the sparkling personality that lures them in. One thing is for certain, they often comment on her natural fragrance. The only thing capable of tying Vepris down for more then a few days would be children. She often wonders what its like to be a mother, something about the hectic life of motherhood seems like it would be entertaining, if only for a short while. Because of this, she obtained the rank of a Seeker to set off into the wilds and follow the path she chooses.

Personality: Minda sees the world in a totally different light then anyone he knows. He doesn't just see that a flower is purple, he can see the variations in every petal and easily identify the difference between each one. Colors and patterns fascinate him completely, he was born with an artists soul. No matter the object, if its involves color and creating it, Minda loves to do it. From birth to last breath, Minda will spend his entire life not only creating beauty, but seeking ultimate beauty in both life and beyond.

Future Plot Ideas:He's going to show interest in Crafters at a very young age and as soon as he is able to take the rank, he will truly begin to come out, and develop his artistic nature. I'll want him to find a mate while he's still a child, but have them start out as just childhood friends who grow into sweethearts and then eventually settle down together. Once one of his childhood friends has children, he will definitely become interested in becoming a father and hope to pass Artistic talents onto his children.

Sweet Little Lemon Drop!

Lemon Drop's Name & Meaning: Diktys - Fisherman that discovered a woman and a baby (Perseus - son of Zeus) in a box at sea and helped raise him, in exchange for his hospitality and kindness his village was spared when the island turned barren. To summarize, hospitable, responsible, and finds the result of hard work effects everyone.
Adult Rank: Healer
Personality: Growing up showered with love by his larger-than-average family unit really cultivates a deep rooted sense of community, large heart and a moral fiber built to withstand the ages. Diktys would do anything for his family, he decided early on that his contribution would be providing a reason to laugh. Even if he wasn't alllll that funny..

His first memory was staring up at a group of lions from his back, all slightly blurry as he was still getting used to seeing the world, his face crinkled, eyes shut tight and his lips puckered out. All the lions cooed and laughed at what was described to him later as a 'lemon face'. Thus Lemon became his alter-ego you could say whose sole purpose is to make others laugh.

As he matures and sees how the world outside of his family works, he will apply the same principal of making others happy into the most essential way he can think of, healing the sick and wounded. Maybe he could even study under his mother. Hopefully his family will be proud of him as he rides the roller coaster of life and (hopefully) stays true to himself.

Future Plot Ideas:
+ Time and a place for everything/ Over the top: Little Lemon has taken to one of his older family members and becomes their over bearing little shadow, typical youngin' trying a little too hard and a little too loud. After striking a sensitive cord with a blunt jab, the lion can either lie and let the conversation travel to annoyance and/or in their own way teach Lemon boundaries. It would be an important lesson for him to swallow so he can focus on pursuing a career helping people through their roughest times.

+ Florence nighten-male syndrome: Upon becoming a healer Diktys, the first patient he tends to falls in love with him, but he doesn't feel the same way. Could either turn into creepy stocker situation or something else that could come back to bite him eventually.

+ Love interest leads to nervous courting or he falls into a situation where a female already has cubs and he tries to be the best father for them that he can. He absolutely love cubs. Papa Lemon has a nice ring to it..

+ Saving the life of a rogue while accompanying a guard on duty creates a moral dilema that tests his commitment to his family, pride and /or rank.
