The purple lion sighed. Nope, no cubbin in here. Just to be sure though, he stuck his big 'ole head in the bush, struggling to get his mane through the twigs and leaves. "Hellooooo? I just gotta make sure this bush is clear!" He sounded like such a baffoon... And probably looked like it too. He took his head out of the bush and shook it some, some bugs falling out of his fur.

So two cubs had been found. He wondered how many were still hiding. He assumed that, since a halt to the game hadn't been called, there were still cubs to be found. He was glad he hadn't been walking so much today, and he had plenty of energy left to do a little searching for cubs.

"Alright, I think I need something to eat," he admitted after a moment, looking around to see if anyone had heard him, "is there anything we guests might be able to nibble on before continuing the hunt?" He didn't want to impose, but he was sure he had heard mention of food earlier. Couldn't have been a lie... right?
His stomach rumbled at the thought of food, and he blushed under his red fur. It was nice and hidden from view, though the embarrassed look on his face sure wasn't.

The fact that two cubs had been found seemed to have thrown the others into a cub finding frenzy. Petrar had to admit that she was impressed with their determination. Especially that of the rogues. Perhaps they wanted to make a good impression on the Queen. If they worked that hard all of the time... maybe Petrar could find it in her heart not to despise them quite as much.
She smirked, satisfied that her words seemed to have fuelled Coda's frustration. But she was getting bored. Maybe she would take the red cub to visit the slaves, as promised. Start the kid knowing the difference between the weak and the strong nice and early. If the Queen didn't object, of course.

Galius wasn't so sure he should have been asking about food right at that moment- everyone seem very invested in finding cubs. Apparently it wasn't the right time for a snack.
Couldn't fight the hunger, though. He chuckled to himself, hoping he would be able to find a cub and then have a meal.
Or that the others would find the cubs, with the same result in the end.

Coda sat down for a moment and thought to her self. "Hmmm what to do. What to do." She look around once more. She had to stay calm and think like a cub. She put her nose into a bush an sniff. She took it back out and Tap the bush once more. "Come here! please?"

Nope. Definitely no cub in there. The lion made a face and looked around. So many others were looking for these cubs. Was it an event of sorts? Were they just playing? Was it serious? He wasn't sure, but continued to help anyhow. He waltzed over to a tree and began to look around it. "Hello? Little ones?"

"Hmmm..." He peered around the bark. He reached up and peeked inside the small hole that was inside of the tree. He stuck his white-marked nose in it, sniffing around... Hoping to sniff a cub out. A cub would definitely smell different from a tree... He hoped anyway.

Galius decided it was best to keep to himself- clearly the thoughts were all on getting the cubs to come out of hiding. He was just making a fool of himself by talking to the others.
Oh well.
He didn't need to feel like it was a pride with conversation and such. He didn't really like that kind of calm, bring place anyway. Where was his head?

She look at the others. They too seem to be having a hard time. Hmm there had to be something to this. She paw under the bush for a while to see if that did anything.

the leopards were looking appealing. He had to make sure he DIDN'T try and eat them, at least while there were cubs to find. He knew he was going to make a fool of himself again sooner or later, but it wouldn't be because of his hunger.
Not again, damnit.

Damn. No cub. He wrinkled his nose and pushed himself off of the tree's trunk, his paws coming down hard onto the grass below. Where was he to look now? He scanned around, slowly walking along. Another bush was off to his side, so he figured he should check it. He reached over and poked it curiously.

The lion flopped down on top of a soft-looking bush, frowning as he decided to take a bit of a break from all the searching. It was starting to feel like less of a game and more of an obligation, which he didn't find that amusing.
Hopefully the remaining cubs hadn't gotten themselves stuck somewhere. That really would have been bad.
Probably.

Pembe kept part of his attention on the rest of those searching for the cubs, but the majority of his concentration was on looking for cubs.
