"My dear, I have absolutely no clue," Fai said happily, leaning back in his chair as the waitress came and giving her their orders. A few musicians wandered through the tables, playing calming music. A ghost floated by, lighting the candles on their table while a skeleton came with wine glasses and their bottle of wine.

Fai took the bottle, pouring them each a drink. "To new beginnings," he offered, holding up the glass.

Hm, well that was to be expected. Fai probably knew just about as much as she did about this world. Though a bit more she suspected.

She took her glass of wine, sniffing it lightly. "I think we need a different toast. Every time we celebrate new beginnings it seems like we're starting all over again months later." Fala tapped her chin with a finger, the light from the candle reflecting softly off her painted nail. "To good times. Yes, I think that will do." Lowering her mask, she took a long sip of the wine.

"To good times," he agreed.
