Blizzard120 She stashed the binoculars then made her way down to the compound, taking flight when she got close to clear the fence then started to make her way for the door quickly as she could. She started to search the walls near the doors and on the doors themselves for anything she could use. After standing in front of the door and searching for several minutes Freth might realize that there was a warm breeze blowing down on her head. Now it was typically hot in Orre, especially out here, but an Ice type hybrid like Freth knows good and well where the heat is coming from. Above her head and the door was a very large vent with grate. Now unlike how movies portray them vents are typically small or medium sized depending on the building but this one was large enough for a person to almost squeeze themselves into. For that matter upon closer examination it had...hinges? What kind of vent grate has hinges? Screws sure but hinges?

For that matter upon closer examination it had...hinges? What kind of vent grate has hinges? Screws sure but hinges? She looked around then noticed the grate with hinges. That couldn't have been any vent. Not with that kind of opening. "...a maintenance hatch..." she softly said to herself. She wasn't sure where it led, though. Well...other than inside, anyways. That said, considering her abysmal luck so far, this could very well be another trap. Unfortunately, there was no getting through those doors, and if she had to bet anything, she was willing to bet that the building was lined with some sort of material, similar to what some buildings in Kalos used to block teleportation. The only other option she had was try to find her way back to the Under and wait on the train to come back which by the time that happens, she could be too late in whatever she's trying to stop in this building. "...ugh..." She hopped up and pulled the grate open, then started to make her way inside.

Blizzard120 She hopped up and pulled the grate open, then started to make her way inside. So far it didn't seem to be a trap, instead it would seem that the new master of the lab was simply too careless to seal up this maintenance shaft, typical of the Hexagon Brothers. The shaft was filled with sand for the first several feet, the outside winds blowing it in. Freth would probably feel uncomfortable at first as the weather shaft creaked and whined for the first few feet, the steel beginning to show signs of weakness. It was apparent that Yellosix didn't do much in the ways of repairs on this old dump. The shaft would come to a fork with one way leading into the darker depths of the lab, mechanical whirling could be heard in that direction. The other direction was lit by something in the distance but no sound could be heard. Which way would Freth choose?

The other direction was lit by something in the distance but no sound could be heard. Which way would Freth choose? Something told Freth as she crawled deeper and deeper into the shaft that this place was going to be temporary. The maintainence hatch showed signs of time taking a toll on it. The various metal creaking and warping the farther she made her way in. As she came into a fork in the path, she stared in confusion for a second. Really, as far as she was concerned, any one of these paths would have to eventually lead her to solid ground at the end of the tunnel as it were. That said, one had noise echoing down the shaft. The other path didn't seem to as much. The noise made her think the possibility of people that way. The noise she was possibly making in the shaft as she traversed probably could get muffled out the closer she got to the machinery, at least some, which may mean a way out. She'll be willing to take any small victory at this point. She then started to traverse towards the sounds she was hearing to see what was going on.

On the other side of the grate there was a faint bit of light created by various machines in the dark room. There didn't seem to be anyone in the room but Freth could certainly feel a strong chi signature, not a human but possibly a Pokemon, or even a hybrid. The signature was still and somewhere among these machines. Should Freth exit the maintenance shaft and make her way through the dark maze of machines she would find a caged Absol, fast asleep.

Freth made her way to the end of the shaft then ended up at the grate. She pushed it open and looked around. This place reeked of chi...somehow. She slid her way out of it and landed as lightly on her feet as possible. She started to tread lightly, keeping an eye behind her, keeping mind to the walls for any cameras, taking nothing for chance. What on earth does Yellowsix have here that is involving these machines? She goes to turn a corner, then quickly stops and snaps back around where she came, only for her to lean around the corner, seeing the Absol locked up. The chi signature...maybe from this thing? Unusually high for an Absol, she thought. At least, high for one out of the wild. Perhaps it wasn't? If it wasn't, then why is it caged up like this? Maybe a Shadow Pokemon? It would explain why they end up having to take the relic statue parts here somewhat. She could only speculate at this point. She looked around for a moment, trying to find something that could tell her what was going on in here.

As Freth wondered around one of the many machines would suddenly come to life, moaning something terrible as it performed its magic. The caged Absol would wake up in response to the machine, letting out a cry of pain. It was at that moment which Freth would realize partly was going on here, that characteristic foul chi suddenly all over the place. But this dreadful feeling would only last for seconds as the machine abruptly shut down and the Absol passed out, the terrible feeling of a Shadow Pokemon's chi gone with it all. "You'll both get paid! Just give me a minute, geesh." A voice called out from behind the door to this room. It was Yellosix, had to be, and he was about to enter through the room. Freth would only have seconds before the Hexagon Brother opened the door and walked in, making his way towards the caged Absol.

Freth nearly jumped, wondering if she triggered something by complete accident when the machines suddenly activated and perhaps wondered if she just alerted someone without meaning to. She then looked towards the cage, watching and listening to the Absol moan out. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it was enough. She then approached the enclosure, kneeling down for a second to study the Absol. What was going on here? She only sensed the aura of a shadow Pokemon just when the machines turned on. Was this machine converting Pokemon into Shadow? But...wait...that didn't seem right. If they were following Ein's more recent designs, it was biological warfare...not artificial as Cipher originally done it. Unless...that was the intention. Regardless, if that was true, this Absol would have been more alert to its surroundings and probably be trying to attack Freth through the glass. Well...unless its been put through this torture for a long time. This Absol didn't look that it was hating life right now.
Freth stood back up, put her hands together, then pulled them apart, forming a blue ring, her Water Pulse attack. If nothing else, she would probably take this Pokemon and get it back to the headquarters for study by Doc. All it would take was probably blowing open the door to get the Pokemon out. At least...she was. She perked up once she heard someone outside the door close by. She ceased the charge, then looked around, trying to think fast. She rushed off, making her way between a couple of machines to get out of sight.

"Tch, you better pay off." Yellosix said to the passed out Absol as he walked by, making his way over to a metal lock box sitting on top of one of the machines. He took a key out of his pocket and opened up the box, withdrawing its entire contents which seemed to consist of a large stack of Pokedollars. With the money in hand he walked back the way he came, stopping in front of the Absol once more to talk to it, knowing good and well it couldn't hear him. "I've put everything we got into you, so you better make him pay." And with that said Yellosix walked right out, never having detected Freth.

"Make...who pay?" What in the hell was this mystery Sub got her going to. if anything, the Absol wasn't going anywhere for the time being. She can come back to it. Now that she had a lock on Yellowsix, she stepped off towards the door and opened it up, looking out for a second. She was going to tail the Cipher grunt to see what this was all about.

As Freth made it into a position to spy on Yellosix the Hexagon Brother had just finished paying off the two miners who were now in the process of walking away. Not soon after they turned the corner a device began to ring in Yellosix's pocket, the man promptly taking out his P*DA and putting it up to his ear. "Browsix! Where have you been!? You were supposed to call me hours ago." Yellosix shouted into the device. "What? Does Blusix know? Uh huh...good. The less he knows the better. I know. Yeah, I know. Of Ein? Hell no! He has to pay, too many people let him get away with stuff just because they are afraid of him. So what? If he does he does, what do we got to lose? Listen, we'll get them back and Ein will get what's coming to him. Just make sure Blusix is kept out of the know, okay? If he finds out it's over. Yeah, I found the rest of the files, don't know why he left them here but hey it's our boon. Uh huh, okay, call me back. Later." And with that Yellosix's conversation was over and the man put the device away in his pocket, the Hexagon Brother then proceeding to walk away from where Freth stood.

Freth listened to the conversation. While she couldn't hear the PD*A itself, she could pretty much piece together the context. That being said, she couldn't believe it. They were against Ein!? But then the machine in the back that was essentially torturing that Absol...was it...really a shadow Pokemon? Is that thing going through the process of purification? Really crude if that Pokemon can't seem to stand at the moment. Maybe fight biological shadow Pokemon with artificial then? Then what of the pieces of the relic? That said, something else got her attention. Blusix...he IS still siding with Ein. But for what? Why? But then, that lead to a whole other situation that actually struck her hard. If all of this was true...then at the very least Greesix, Purpsix, Browsix, and Yellosix at the very least were actually on the good side...in their own right. Ein really must have screwed these guys over in particular pretty hard and they're wanting payback, especially if Blusix was still with that mad scientist. That still leaves Resix, though. Safe assumption would be he's just...around. Regardless the main four now, though, they were pretty much idiots for not coming out clean with her instead of deciding to fight her and make every last chain of events shadier than the last. Especially where Purpsix was desperate enough to try to choke Freth out with poison. There were still unanswered questions though...and she had to at the very least get her mind spoken to Yellosix before he goes on the defensive like the others have. As soon as he made his way close, she reaches out and snatches him and goes to pin him to the wall. "Now before you freak out, decide to have the fight of your life, say words you're more than likely going to regret, or any combination of the three, why are your brothers such idiots in not telling me about this little operation of yours and coming clean with it knowing good and bloody well that we're against Ein too?" She said in a rather calm voice...well, calm compared to Yellosix's other brothers anyways.

This is our fight, Ein's head belongs to us. I won't let anyone rob me of that thrill." Yellosix said, his mouth morphing into a twisted smile, like a grin and a grimace. "Besides, when you're around things tend to get broke, or punched rather. Eh, you sure you aren't related Resix?"

Freth pushed off of him and left him there against the wall. "Either way, I shudder at the thought. At any rate, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care who claims Ein's head, just as long Ein is taken out of the picture permanently, and if there's any way I or anyone else can speed up the process, that would be all the better. That's a sentiment shared by many, I assure you. Especially when you got one brother of your own that apparently is still eating out of Ein's palm, if I am to understand you right. That being said, it doesn't look good when your brothers want to either piss themselves or want to fight me when we're after the same thing, which leads me to question number one: what is it that you are doing that would involve pieces of the Relic shrine? Whatever it is, it seems to be torturing that Absol back there."

Yellosix began to explain, trying to scoot a way from Freth, wanting a little more distance between him and the violent hybrid. "The Absol was already shadowfied but we're attempting to remove some of its symptoms, mainly all the drawbacks while keeping the positive aspects. The ultimate Shadow Pokemon, so to speak."
