Evie didn't get to see the result of her handiwork as Ciri vanished, the ice ball connecting the far wall in an icy explosion.
'Oh sh-' her words were cut from her when the sly panda emerged on her staff. Her staff wanted to fly and take Ciri on a flight of her life but the girl was too fast fer her own good, next thing Evie knew she was on the ground, her side hurting like a b*****d out of hell.
She gritted her teeth, swallowing down the strings of colorful words at the back of her teeth. Ciri was Briar damned serious, she clutched her side. Her mind slightly addled by the pain, Xerxes was shouting at her to let him have a go but the winter witch knew better.
'Buckle up, ladies and gents!' She laughed despite the pain, she flicked her wrist and her staff launched off, with hope the panda would trip off or be on a wild ride.
Evie forced herself up, ambling away from Ciri.

She watched Ciri taking another stance, a snort of laughter rushed through her. Her side flared in pain, Briar I need to tone down the laughing. Impossible really, seeing how it was synonymous with the word witch.
Perhaps avoid getting hurt then, yes. That was a better solution. Her staff returned to her, and she used it to hold herself up. Who knew the panda had a nasty fist. Probably broke a rib, maybe two.
That was something she had grown accustomed to at least. Being a flanker meant she received the worst wounds. Her side protested in pain, she winced. Didn't mean she liked it though.
In an attempt to surprise Ciri she shouted, 'expelliarmus!' An orb of ice shot out from her extended palm. Evie wished she could pelt out a hundred icicles a minute but she wasn't specialized that way, instead her attacks were heavy hitters but ponderous and few in between. She giggled some more, as the orb followed its trajectory. Harry potter references ftw!
And against a lithe opponent like Ciri it was tbe worst. A bad match up.

Ciri stood there, her eyes focused on Evie. Her ankle hurt, but she couldn't let that stop her. Its alright this is nothing. Remember when you fell of the wall back home? This pain is nothing compared to that. Just remember what father taught you, a witcher does not feel. Ciri thought to herself. She could do this, but she still refused to use any of her other abilities on Evie.
As Evie shot an ice orb towards Ciri, she spun to the side, her right shoulder being slightly hit. It felt cold. The minute the winter witches orb made contact with her shoulder, Ciri vanished once more. Where was she to reappear this time? She knew Evie thought she would appear behind her, but instead Ciri appeared in front of Evie. Placing her weight on her right leg, Ciri swung her left knee up into Evie's stomach, knocking the breath out of the witch. Stumbling back, Ciri stood on her broken ankle and took a swing at the winter witches shoulder with her silver blade. Her eyes were crying for the teacher to stop this battle.

Shocked the ice globe trick worked, technically. She was unprepared when Ciri vanished again, her staff instantly positioned itself behind her blocking an attack from the rear. A miscalculation on the staff's part that had Evie reeling breathless as a knee dug into ber abs.
Her eyes clenched shut, her hands clamped on her stomach. A part of her wondered whats with Ciri targetting her torso , Briar damn it. She cracked an eye open, enough to realize panda had backed up and drawing her sword for another attack. She thought of calling her staff but it wouldnt make it, Ciri was gonna cut her down.
No other options left, her ice block is still on cool down, and her reluctance on using blink holding her back. Evie dashed forward, elbowing Ciri before the witcheress' sword could reach its destination.

 Nemesis looked at the two with disappointed expression with a hint of anger, He knew they held back, and he wasn't happy. "Is this class a joke to you?!" For the first time, Nemesis' voice got louder and angrier, he hated being disobeyed, especially by one of his student. "You two disobeyed the trial's rules when I ask you to go all out I expect you to go all out!" Nemesis looked at the unconscious witch, before looking back at Ciri. "Even though you two disobeyed me, you proved you can take care of yourselves, but we'll have to work on your attitude. Ciri help Evie up move to the side the next trial will begig " Nemesis then looked at Shinda still having his angry expression. "Next trial is Shinda and she'll be fighting the demonic spirit Ifrit, use your ability and try to dominate him, normal physical attack don't affect him." As soon as Nemesis finished talking a ghost like figure appeared next to him, as low croaky voice can be heard across the dojo. "I'm sorry for what I'm about to do, Master Nemesis Ordered me to hold nothing back. I hope you can survive the onslaught. Goodluck Miss Shinda."

Athena watched her brother basically destroy any chance of him being liked by the students, she saw his cruel trials one after the other. She wasn't surprised by any of them since she had to go through one herself a few years back, one thing was for sure though Athena wasn't going to reveal Nemesis was her brother, she was afraid people will hate her for it. The fist trial was the worst in her opinion and she showed great concern for Yuki, Nemesis went way too far and he might've just ruined that poor girls life. The second and third trial were great to watch and analyse, seeing the girls fight with everything they've got was a sight to behold, speed, fire, swordsmanship, and ice. "I wonder who I'll be fighting? Yarost? Maybe Aunt Bernie! I can't wait!" Just as she finished her thought it was Shinda's turn. Athena smiled, simply to show her that she believed in her, before seeing the demon appear. The demon's words instantly changed the smile into a look of concern. "Don't worry Cherry blossom you got this!!! Show that demon who's boss!"
