2. Empress Ekko (Noelle) Positive: This was definitely Scorpio, and it was a near perfect design for Noelle. This is a great example of really working with your model, because this wouldn't have worked as well on any other model. Negative: The black was unbalanced, and it was almost distracting for some of the judges. Really make sure to focus on keeping everything - and colors you use - balanced.
3. DAVlD DUCHOVNY (Keran) Positive: Keran looks good in these colors, and the balance of the silhouette is great on her. It's a pretty look over all. Negative: The water was a great idea, but it didn't translate very well. There was also just a lot going on again, especially one her head. She didn't need the gold band and the ruby tiara and the flowers.
4. x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ebony) Positive: Ebony is a beautiful girl in a field, earthy and in touch with some of the finer Virgo details, which was wonderful to see. Negative: We would have liked to see this fit the challenge more, it felt a little plain. Also the earring seemed to get bigger every time a judge looked at it, far too big a choice for the rest of the look and created an odd balance to her head.
6. khionna (Veronica) Positive: This was beautiful and well balanced, and the colors were absolutely appropriate. We also loved the legs and that added inspiration of archery! Negative: We hate the background. It matches perfectly with colors, and the oval is pleasant so we can see why it was used, but Veronica blends in to it far too much and we lose some of the wonderful details in her look.
7. Your Local Gay (Dita) Positive: Dita is a lovely water-y angel with a delicate little pout, we expected to see a halo over her head. Negative: The colors weren't the best choice or balanced how we'd have liked to see, and leaving the head so bare was a poor decision. This didn't say Libra really either, and left most of the judges wanting to see more.
8. Pixelplays (Kate) Positive: Layering the dress together took quite a bit of skill, and the shape of the dress is nice on Kate. Negative: Linking to the description was a bad call, especially with the...sentence you chose for the hyperlink. The antlers also don't layer well at all, which detracted from the over all look even more.
9. Princess of the Raindrops (Mia) Positive: These are good colors on Mia, and it definitely says Pisces. Negative: Mia came out without any pants on girl! Looks like an elegant Rugrat who decided to get nakey. The necklace and ring were also the wrong choice with their black accents.
10. Tink_Bel (Zahara) Positive: This was one of the more artistic interpretations this week, and we loved how it said Leo. Gorgeous colors on Zahara. Negative: Some things in this look were familiar to other looks we've seen, and there were some weird layerings in the lower half that left one judge seeing a third leg.
11. METTAT0N (Xoco) Positive: Xoco looks elegant and cool, and while this wasn't what anyone expected to see for Gemini, it wasn't the worst thing to actually see at all. Negative: Seeing every view of this look showed off a hoochie butt look from Xoco, and that doesn't fit the challenge or even the front of the look, and that cost you some points. Gold heart was also...a bad choice.
13. RENstrawberry (Madison) Positive: This looked a bit like Aquarius, and had an ethereal vibe that fit with the challenge. Negative: The background, veil, boots, were all odd choices that weren't good. And the legs are shiny, while nothing else is, which further threw things off and drew bad attention to the legs.
14. Kiwi Cannoli (Brooke) Positive: This was Aries without a doubt, and these colors are absolutely gorgeous on Brooke. The general idea theme of it was great. Negative: The horns weren't the best choice, and the arm mod was a little bulky. The background was beautiful and I can see the appeal, but it was wrong here. It's too dark and Brooke fades against it too much.
15. botticellus venus (Daphne) Positive: This was a beautiful Capricorn look, with gorgeous colors on Daphne, and it's one of the best backgrounds for this challenge. Negative: This is still a fashion competition, and shaping Daphne like a pear wasn't a very good choice at all. Keep fashion in mind with the shapes you create.

"Rain,Rain, Go Away" Designer:DAVID DUCHOVNY Model: Keran
"Rain ,rain, go away, come again another day~" Keran hummed to herself as the flecks of water that would soon become torrential hit her over-sized coat, Her day volunteering at the local kindergarden for crafts-time had made her want to wear something to reflect the playful, childish side she had so she decided to smack on the colour, and play with the texture! She just hoped she could get hope before her homemade teddybear headband became unglued by the rain!
This was the second hardest challenge so far for me, first being the zodiac. I knew I wanted to dress her in demoncandy because those are colours that are many and pop on her skin! but I found my self looking throught a LOT of yellow tops, blue accessories and pink bottoms when not the colours I wanted In the right places! And I read through everybodys feedback everytime it comes out so I was afraid, with my over-sized top idea, of making her look like a pear. Anyway back to the colour top and bottom situation. I got a three colour bottom that gave the illusion she was skipping and i fell in love with how it was chunky like the over-sized coat and childish! also I gave the illusion of a blue top by using the rabbitan collar. As for the head phones, I thought they were too cute to leave off and really pulled the ;look together by adding a little dot to the tip of the jacket! Lastly, I only added one item to the head that already had all the colours I needed as not to overcrowd it, and take the judges advice.
P.S. I really think it looks very playful how shes just skipping over that puddle!
Walk to School Designer: RENstrawberry Model: Kate Description:
Let me say I’m very happy I got a chance to work with Kate for this challenge! Kate naturally has a child-like innocence to her and I really wanted to channel that energy for this challenge. I still hold on to very fond memories of playing in the rain as a child and walking to my nearby school. I suppose Kate’s finished look is an inspiration of one of my own childhood stories!
Here’s my really short childhood story:
One day when I was walking to school in the rain, I lost the toy I was carrying around. It was a lot smaller than the one seen with our model Kate, so it was a lot easier to lose. I panicked for a little bit, and admittedly started to cry. But hey what was I supposed to do? I was a kid. I didn’t want to be late to school, so I left it behind and bitterly went on with my day. Luckily, as the day ended and I walked back home I found the yellow and blue toy once again!
I started Kate’s look by searching for Chiffon schemed clothing. I knew I wanted to use the pastel yellow and blue hues from the Chiffon color scheme to compliment Kate’s pale complexion, her blue eyes, but mostly her pink cheeks and red hair! That way the colors I included would be a pastel rendition of the primary colors. I began with her dress-like raincoat, paired with oversized sleeves and an umbrella. To tie in the use of the umbrella I added a rain puddle to echo my childhood story.
As a kid I would always wear long sucks but roll them down so they would bunch up at my ankles. (Only a kid could get away with such a fashion crime! ) That childhood memory inspired the use of Kate’s shoes, which appeared to pull off the same look! While constructing this outfit, I was very fond of the shoes because of the way the feet were posed inwards. As a kid, I walked with my toes pointed slightly inwards. I suppose the action is cute as a kid, but I think I managed to mostly grow out of it.
Next off I added the bow and frill decor around her neck and shoulders. The item undoubtedly took some years off of Kate’s appearance and continued to add the innocent child-like look I went for. Next up, I added her pink school bag to emphasize the pastel primary color usage. The pink bag also came in Chiffon, but I avoided using that color scheme in fear that the bag would look too “matchy-matchy” and blend in. To tie in the pink a little bit more, I added Kate’s headband. In elementary and pre-school, I remember girls would use headbands left and right! I wonder what made girls outgrow using them… I suppose headbands aren’t a big fashion trend for adults.
Lastly, I added the stuffed animal Kate has dropped in the rain! Oh no! While it’s a much older item, I had to use it because its colors are the exact same as the toy I lost on my walk to school! The same yellow fur and blue bowtie! However, the toy I lost was a dog… not a bear…

Model: Daphne Designer: POTR When is Halloween?
All dressed up like a candy bear, Daphne is ready to go and collect gummies and yummies! The only problem is Halloween isn't around for another few months! Her plan is to dress up like candy and maybe it will come to her.
I personally LIVE FOR H A L L O W E E N. It's the best holiday ever no point in arguing because I'm right :p So to start this challenge, I had a very hard time, Daphne is very mature looking, so I felt very challenged and I am hoping to show my potential as a well coordinated designer and using item knowledge to make even a mature avatar such as Daphne into a childish and fun person. I chose to go with Demonic, I was going to use taffy, but it didn't feel childish enough for the face. I basically built the whole outfit around the mask, as it helped to hinder the face, and with the blush and arched brows, I feel I melted the icy feel a little. The blush really helped to melt the ice for me, because now it looks like she is throwing a fit, angry that it isn't Halloween yet.(I feel that feeling on a spiritual, emotional, and physical level)
Description: Veronica looks up at you and with a super excited tone she says, "Look at my kitty! Isn't she just sooo cute!? I want to look just like her!" She then looks over at her bear, "Oh, look at my bear too! He has the same color hair as me! He's a boy though so I don't want to look like him." She looks so happy hugging her stuffed animals before heading to bed.
Here, Veronica is shown to be about 3 or 4. She absolutely loves her two favorite stuffed animals and thinks that the kitty is the absolute cutest thing on the planet. She shows her to everyone. She wants to be just like her so much that she wears cat ears everywhere.. even to bed.
From the moment I read this challenge I knew that I wanted to make her cute and super childish. I love that Veronica's appearance can be worked up to be sexy or played down to be childish and fun. I knew that I could pull off the look, I just needed to find the right pieces to pull it together. Once I found the arms I knew what I wanted to do. I knew that I couldn't pull the colors from both stuffed animals for a cohesive look so I had to decide which to run with and how to make it work.
I started with the arm pose. I love how cute and childish those arms look. After looking over the pose and debating what colors to use I decided to pull the cute, girly scheme from the cat. I love using Amaranth and Ivory in my personal looks at times and I felt they would be fitting for this outfit as well. It's a nice soft feminine scheme that is perfect for a small child.
Next I started looking for a leg pose that would work for what I wanted. After going through a few different legs I found Lazy Daze. I feel like these are perfect for showing that she is a small, tired, child. After finding the legs I started looking for a nightgown. I knew of a few different ones, but when I stumbled upon the Runaway item it just felt right.
I then needed something for the head. Since I wanted to play on Veronica's love for the stuffed cat I decided to look for cat ears. After finding the ear collection it still seemed a bit empty and off balance. I decided that I needed something pink on the head. After looking for a while I found the flower and thought it looked nice.
Lastly, the background felt a little empty. I then found the background cutter that worked great to show that she was thinking of her bed without taking up too much space.
I know that this look is a bit simple compared to what I usually enter, but it seems fitting. Since I never really do simple entries I wanted to show that I am capable of doing so while also following the theme rules. I love how all of the pieces form a solid look without being overly complicated. This entry feels complete on it's own without relying on a ton of items or a large, full background. I feel that this entry fits the requirements of the theme and is capable of standing on it's own. I am happy with this entry.

Where the Wild Things Are Designer: Botticellis Venus Model: Xoco
She was tired of trying to read the books that her grandma had sent her. The pictures were pretty and the story was good but they were so long! She was starting to get antsy, so little by little she scooted the books farther away from her across the bed. With a sudden motion, she launched herself into the air and with as much momentum as possible, she sprang up and down on the bed. A line from one of the books she had just read popped into her head and she yelled at the top of her lungs "LET THE WILD RUMPUS START!" With every jump, the books flew higher and higher into the air; one even flew behind the bed! After a few seconds, she heard her mom's voice calling from the other room to stop making such a racket. "Darn!", she thought, "Mom always spoils the fun!"
I was kind of confused as to what we were supposed to make. I originally made an avatar that was a bit older, around 11 or 12 I guess? It had a bunch of bright colors and was a call back to when I was a kid in the 90s. I was all ready to submit it and had even written my description when I went back over everything and realized that it just wouldn't work.
So, I started over and tried to find items that would fit for a young kid. I started off with some chubby legs and tried several different combinations of sweaters, jackets, skirts, and nothing was really working. I had tried out the knock knock shirt a bunch of times, but kept changing it since nothing really ever worked with it and I was worried about how big it is. I finally found a combination I liked using the shirt and it all kind of snowballed from there. I decided to tuck her hair up in the hat (Which I love! I feel like any kid would love to have such a crazy hat) because it was too stylized for such a young kid to have, especially when they are jumping on a bed. I also added the glasses to help take away how mature her face looks. I really like the finished product, though I do wish I had used bright colors. It was really fun working with Xoco since most everything works so well with her tone. It was a big change from Daphne!
Description: Zahara just looks so cute snuggling with that bunny, doesn't she? I created a soft and cuddly look for this challenge using the sherbert color scheme. I played around with a few color schemes before landing on this one, but I think the pastel rainbow look is very light and cheerful like a child. I used the Obnatus Amare leg mod to make my model look tiny with a little baby fat. I used fewer items than I'm usually comfortable with to create a very simple and relaxing looking design. I'll be honest, I didn't think I would be able to make Zahara look cute and innocent, she has a very intense and sexy look to her. But, in the end I think her short hair looks almost child like with the bows and bears. Her lips, which usually look sultry to me, look pouty. I think she looks like a small child you just want to pick up and squeeze!

First Day Of School
Model: Brooke Designer: METTAT0N Description: This was a difficult challenge for me because of how I feel about children...
The first thing I thought of coming into this was, using a major full-body mod would have felt too much like cheating. So I tried to use them lightly and leave the torso base as intact as I could.
I couldn't find the sort of bedroom background I wanted so I decided to forego it and my original slumber party pajamas theme, and try to focus on clothing that seemed to shrink the body. Using a long sweater appears to shorten these legs quite a bit, so I decided to go with that.
To accent the sweater, I used an arm pose with big sleeves, and it almost looks like she's crying. I got the idea of a nervous kid going to their first day of school from that, which is why I added a backpack.
I originally went into this really wanting to use a Lilly Locket or a Shoujo Memories, but neither of them seemed to have color schemes I could build from in a satisfying way. At least that I could find.
I went back and forth from a creamycandy version to a cottoncandy one, eventually landing on demure, which I rather enjoy because of it's inclusion of soft brown.
A Treat! Model: Madison Designer: Kiwi Cannoli Description:" Look Mommy, look at how tall it is! I'm going to eat it all, I promise!" I just wanna start out saying that I did change my entry. To put it plainly, I liked the old one at first, but then as the days went by it started to really bother me and I just had to change it.
The leg mod and the hat I knew I wanted to keep, I think they look really good on her. I decided to use the Amaranth and Grey colors, To me the grey makes the pink pop out a little bit more. One of the hardest things for me was finding a dress that didnt make her look like she was in her 20s and that was, well, cute. : sweat : I decided to go for the Plein Hare dress in the end.
For awhile I was really stuck between too different arm mods, each of them food themed. I went with this one in the end becuase the ice cream reminded me of the self serve ones that were in buffets when I was a kid and making it as tall as possible would be such a kid thing to do.

that's so cuuuuute!! model: Dita designer: Your Local Gay description: for this challenge i wanted to make a harajuku-esque outift, the decora/ super kawaii fashion style immediately popped into my head. i didn't want to go full decora or straight kawaii but rather a mix of the two. i was thoroughly inspired by the looks as it was has the perfect childish feel that i think this challenge was looking for. i fashioned a poofy dress out of the flushed aquascaping dress and the funny business skirt. i added the close companion jacket because i feel like it keeps dita from looking toooo childish, while also keeping the decora feel i wanted the outfit to have. and then i added a couple finishing touches
also sorry for the later than usually submission,,, its been an insane week!! thanks!
WarmandComfortable Designer: x_suicide_is_inevitable_x Model: Ebony Description: "Aww, it's raining! Mister Stripes, it's so cold outside. What should we do today?" Ebony glanced down at her tiger friend, waiting for his answer. "A blanket fort? Oh, that's a great idea!" She spun away from the window and grabbed some pillows off her bed, tossing them onto the floor as she did so. "You get the big blanket off the bed," she told him, holding the stuffed animal's arms out to the comforter and pretended to grab it with his paws. "Thank you!" She spread it out and started piling the pillows onto it, then stepped back and threw the thinner blanket over the fairy lights and flag bunting strung across the room. "All done! Now what?" She paused, again waiting for the tiger to respond. "Turn on the lights? Of course, I forgot!" She giggled and ran to the light switch, flipping it up and giving the room a warm yellow glow. "Perfect! Good job, Mister Stripes! You deserve a hug!" Ebony hugged the plush tiger tightly, then jumped in surprise and looked to where her mother was chuckling softly, leaning against the door frame with a fond smile on her face.
My first attempt to fulfill this challenge was a lot of work, but it was only complete with the background and speech bubble, and even then only just barely. I started to post it anyway the next day about two hours before midnight when I decided I'd try making it look better, if at all possible. I looked at it for only a few seconds before scrapping it. The only thing I kept from the previous outfit is the legmod, because it matches Ebony's facial expression so well.
Ebony's hair doesn't work well with many hats, but I found this one and thought it looked appropriately childish, and I ended up working from there. I searched for items in the same shade of pink and came across the dress, which has little bows on it in the same blue of the left sock. Ebony was looking more bundled up by the minute, and I was wondering how I could pull that off. Then, I saw the blanket fort item and it all started coming together, because what's better than piles of pillows and blankets to keep you warm when it's cold out? Sharing that warmth with a friend! ❤

2. Empress Ekko (Mia) Positive: NA :( Negative: NA :(
3. DAVlD DUCHOVNY (Keran) Positive: These colors were the perfect choices for Keran and this challenge! They screamed of the vibrance and zest for life that children have. Negative: None of the judges particularly cared for the rabbitan collar - lit layered a bit oddly - and the practically of headphones and a headband out in the rain instead of a hood or umbrella left us with some questions too.
4. x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ebony) Positive: Ebony is adorable, definitely says child, and the whole looks comes together to tell an obvious and easy story at first glance. Negative: The yellow background? Very not good. Not a good choice, not good with the look, none of the judges liked it. It dropped the score more for some than it did others.
6. khionna (Veronica) Positive: khionna, I can't stress enough how strong of a look this was. Veronica can look very mature but you brought out her youth almost effortlessly. This even got a 10 from one of our judges! Negative: The dark teddy bear bordered on being too dark for the look, even if it is balancing her dark hair a little bit. But this is a very small negative on a very strong look.
7. Your Local Gay (Dita) Positive: This color scheme was the perfect choice, and you brought out some youth in Dita. The leg mod was a great choice, making the legs look smaller also made Dita look younger. Negative: This doesn't look like a kid, it looks like an adult emulating children's fashion. Nothing wrong with that, but it wasn't the challenge. Don't be afraid to go big on challenges, and really push things. In this case I don't think you could have made Dita look too young.
9. Princess of the Raindrops (Daphne) Positive: These were childish colors, and anyone who has been out in the world around Halloween has surely witnessed a child reaching near mania of excitement as the holiday gets closer. Negative: ...this was not a favourite this week. There were a lot of pieces and ideas going on, but they weren't random enough to feel like a little kid randomly putting on things from their wardrobe. It was just messy. And arguably the most mature feature on Daphne's face are her eyes, and that is right where you drew the focus, making Daphne look older than the kid she's supposed to be.
10. Tink_Bel (Zahara) Positive: Zahara is popping in these colors, love them on her, and they definitely say youthful. Zahara is cute as she curls up with her favourite stuffed bunny. Negative: We expect more creativity from ya Tink! The sweater/bunny/leg combo isn't a fresh idea, and the background doesn't really bring a lot to the party. Also think if you'd covered her head more - some kind of hood or floppy hat - or covered her face (maybe a lollipop) Zahara would have looked a lot more youthful.
11. METTAT0N (Brooke) Positive: Brooke's eyes really pop in this outfit, and as soft as they are, it really helps sell the idea of being a kid! The judges were torn, but most of them loved the color scheme on her over all - and it's an adorable hat on her. Negative: Your description hurt your score. The first instinct of the look is that Brooke was in a kind of onesie, but hearing it was intentionally not one left all the judges disappointed. Especially since it creates some odd proportions. Mostly this was just a little underwhelming.
13. RENstrawberry (Kate) Positive: This was one of the top looks of the week, Kate really has a great face for this challenge. The outfit itself was good, but the leg pose really helped sell the whole thing. The description was also one of the better ones. Negative: If the umbrella had just been in one hand, or in really any other position instead of crossed in front of her taking up creative space this would have scored higher. Also we know that Kate's hair is bold, but it would have been nice to see some of the other colors be bold too.
14. Kiwi Cannoli (Madison) Positive: This was a great idea for this challenge, what kid doesn't like ice cream?, and it is a wonderfully childish silhouette! Negative: This color scheme washes poor Madison out, and had this been almost any other color scheme I think it would have improved scores. Other big critique was the glasses, the made her look older rather than younger. Maybe a different color or more rounded frame would have worked out better.
15. botticellus venus (Xoco) Positive: This was the runner up for the week, it was such a strong and childish look! The colors were great, and these glasses worked well to make Xoco look younger. Also it was a great idea to hide her mature curls with a hat. And everyone should take note, cause this is a near perfect use of a background. Negative: Didn't really need to add the bear accessories to the head when the hat is already there. Also Xoco has a very mature and pouty expression, the glasses help tone it down, but over all her face feels disconnected from the rest of the look and the story.
The Final Boss Model: Brooke Designer: METTAT0N Description:
In JRPGs, neither female main characters in battle nor impractical sexy armor are uncommon. Brooke here represents the Queen of a rival kingdom, ready to strike down the protagonist for threatening her fair land.
I hadn't originally set out to do a sexy design, but what I did want to include from the beginning was the Mythrill Armor item, one that I have always remembered for it's gold and silver color scheme. When I realized that Very Protective Fantasy Armor used the same silver color, I decided I was going to try to build around them both.
Throughout this process I was worried I'd shot myself in the foot. Specifically, as I looked for more items. I very quickly came to realize that this was a very dark silver, near gray, that didn't match many of the brightish-whitish silvers on site. But thankfully, the Princess Charming appeared to be a fairly close match. I'd originally planned to use the Mythrill chest pose, but using the belt pose to accent Charming felt like it made more sense with the other pieces.
While I am guilty of overusing the Catharsis scheme, I found it was the easiest way to access gold colored items. As much as I wanted to include a more fitting, armored boot, none of them appeared to be available in the dark silver I had chosen, so I had to opt for these dark gray boots decorated with golden shackles.
I'm a bit torn on the cape myself, but after much deliberating I decided to leave it. Her body without it is rather narrow, which comes across as somewhat un-intimidating, and I feel that the cape compensates for that and gives the design more of the "imposing" feeling I was thinking of. Imagining it flying around anime-style as she fights is also pretty cool.

Queen of the Lands Designer: DAVlD DUCHOVNY Model: Keran
Rule not with an iron fist, but with a silver tongue
I had a hard time finding a silver that wasnt actually grey and after using yellows, golds, and warm tones it a LOT of previous challenges I needed to makes this thing silver as I did gold if not more. So i looked around and found the skirt that I'm using from a set/item with VERY sparkly silver. I decided that would be my base. I would start with and all silver base and go for mainly gold accents. Under the chest amour in a silver top to make the base completely silver.
To go with the theme of queendom, I chose a silver stoumache eye as to show her looking over the land. I LOVED HOW THAT ENDED UP LOOKING! it was kinda creepy and I like it that way. also I love how the crown I chose look almost cartoonishly domineering yet elongates her body elegantly.

The Queen of Sheba Designer: Botticellis Venus A.K.A egggoat Model: Xoco
After a little bit of thought and experimentation, I knew that I wanted to do something queenly. Xoco has a very regal face and she looks a little bit aloof and that fit so well with the idea of royalty to me. I had a hard time deciding on the shades of gold and silver I wanted. It was rough finding things that were metallic and also looked good and weren't too dated. I went down a mental rabbit hole of thinking about how clothes can have metal in them or be made of metal and I realized that chainmail is exactly that, and I worked on making her a shirt that was reminiscent of that. I also incorporated the skirt that looks like it is made of gold platemail. Then I wanted to go in the opposite direction and thought about spinning straw into gold like in fairy tales and how that would look as a fabric which is how I landed on the skirts. I added the veil and it really finished the look in my opinion but I kept changing my mind and finally settled on using it since it adds a softness to her face while also keeping a barrier between her and the world which lends to the idea of royalty. I liked the idea of her being a warrior queen, but one that has finally made peace and her rule is so strong that she just have to give someone a look and they will settle down. She wears a little chainmail and platemail mainly as symbolism of her past. She has added these softer fabrics to show the prosperity of her land and the wealth that they have accumulated in these times of peace. .
