Description: Okay this took a while! Wasn't happy with the flowers and didn't want Ava and her love to match too much so this ended up going through a lot of revisions! I really liked the idea of complementing colors so I gave Ava a blue sweater to contrast against her companion's pink. Gives her a boyish look while still looking pretty cute. I also added long sleeves to lend some energy to the look. They're sightseeing, but also in a hurry to look at everything.
It took too long to find flowers that wouldn't block her girlfriend but it was definitely worth it in the end. The dense plants convey a sense of adventure, turning the greenhouse into a compact jungle. Made some last minute alterations to better show off the outfit. I know spider lilies are symbols of tragedy, but I liked how they blended the colors of the two lovers and kept them in.

Berry Cherry Outdoor Date
♥ Designer: Mini Black Velvet ♥ Model: Laurel ♥
♡ Description ♡
It's time to take a break from staying indoors and get some fresh love in the air.
Laurel with her a-peeling date is just ready to take a walk out in the park while the sun is out. Laurel cherry-ishes her dates & probably goes bananas over planning them, so nothing will go wrong. She is well-equipped with her bag stuffed with supplies & dons a sunhat to protect her lovely complexion from getting sunburn from the UV rays.
I chose this bright color scheme as I wanted to give her a lively and young, yet casual look, but also make a sunset setting to contrast my previous night dark themed entries. Because Laurel can look fantastic any time of daytime.
Some fruity accessories were added for the silliness & potential conversation starters since this date can't be a boring one and should be a fruitful one instead.

✦ Designer: Detrimentum ✦ Model: Helena ✦ Outift Title: Star-crossed Lovers ✦ Description: For my entry, I focused on the idea of the contrast.
Helena and her companion, two stars locked in an eternal yearning—here, light and dark converge in a mesmerizing dance. Gowns of white and black, adorned with shimmering golden accents, echo the celestial expanse of the night sky while billowing layers of ethereal fabric evoke the cosmic ballet of stars in motion.
Complementing this celestial ensemble are accessories that gleam like distant constellations, adding a touch of cosmic mystique. With every detail meticulously chosen, this outfit embodies the essence of an eternal cosmic yearning, where opposites attract and destinies entwine amidst the vastness of the universe...
I've included the companionless version, as her partner covers quite a bit.

"Tearful Romantic"
Lulu
Designer - ICLite
Desc When thinking of the perfect Valentine's date what could be better than a romantic proposal? Lulu here is matching with her girlfriend (soon-to-be fiancee) in red. after all, what's the point of moving in if you can't share a closet? I imagine this scene being set in Lulu's favourite restaurant on what was thought to be a Valentine's dinner, instead, her lovely girlfriend surprised her with a ring bringing tears of joy to ruin Lulu's makeup. Obviously, for this look, I went heavy into the reds. a go-to choice for any "romantic" feeling scene, but also one of my favourites to put Lulu in. I've been wanting to use this ring and companion since forever, and this is the perfect chance! my own Valentines this year will be spent baking, however, I'm surely gonna keep this idea in my back pocket.
I apologize for submitting at the seemingly last moment, I misread the date and as a result, am sad I've had to rush my description.
‣designer: cynicalsix ‣model: maria ‣description: as a throwback of when they got together, maria and her partner take a look back at their simpler life back in school. the two of them were real wallflowers back then, and still mostly are, not wanting much attention or popularity, just wanting to create side by side. paging through old memories, retracing how they've grown, the two of them are glad to still have each other.
they often say write what you know, and in this case i decided to model what i know. my entry was heavily based on me and my real life girlfriend, as cheesy as it sounds. the two of us met back in middle school, started dating in high school, and are still together to this day. we used to sit on the concrete or grass in between classes or at lunch just talking, drawing, or playing mobile games side by side. we never really got to see each other, with school being our primary sanctuary.
though most of my prior looks have leaned into maria's femininity, i wanted to try to do something a little different and lean more "masculine". i am a bit remiss that there's no way to customize companions, since using this one was very important to me the designer but i wanted to bring more yellow into her. to compensate i did my best to incorporate her color scheme into maria's with some accents.
the background is supposed to be more muted in comparison to maria and her companion in order for them to stick out. i picked this both for general contrast but also to show how the location isn't what matters to them, its just the togetherness. the familiarity is nice, but that's not what they're there for.
Top Designer: clowniing — Rhiannon • One of the judges gave you a perfect score this week, because this entry was that strong. Everyone agreed the look was truly beautiful. • The description ran a little longer, and there was some discussion on if the partner counted as a human. Be sure that you don't get so creative that you don't fill the restraints of the challenge.
Ultrabord — Esther • You also received a perfect score from one of the judges. This is another striking look that the judges kept coming back to. • The description was also where you lost points, we want to know more about the 'why', not just the 'what'. There also needed to be something to break up all the white.
Detrimentum — Helena • Simply stunning. This is easily your strongest entry yet, and you have set the bar high for yourself moving forward. • The description, again, was where you lost points. Why did you think of this design? Give us some ideas of what happened from the beginning to now. What do you connect with in this look? That is what we want to see in the description.
cynicalsix — Maria • We love that you based this off your own love life, and it was smart to know you can't customize the companion and so bring their color scheme to Maria to build the look. • Description - while good - ran long. The yellow was a little out of place, and while you described Maria's style as masculine, we didn't feel it was all that masculine. It was neutral.
BloodAngel95 — Bryce • Kudos for listening to your critiques and growing stronger as a designer. Incorporating red into the look really helped your design. • The red could have been balanced farther from the head - the hair accessory you chose wasn't needed - and the judges have also seen this background before. It made it feel a little repetitive, even though it was a fresh design.
Princess Warfare — Summer • Using your earned Voucher from last week helped you out this week. This is your best entry so far in the competition. This entry was well worth the wait. • Every judge agreed that, given how similar Summer and your partner looks, read more as sisters rather than lovers.
smol bab — Amren • This is a very cute, and casual look, that the Judges found believable. The description really sold the storyline. You did a good job selling your design. • The downside to this very cutesy-looking date night is that it comes across as a bit pedestrian. There were a lot of 'cute' looks, and this one was a bit too simple.
Haji Demon — Maritza • This is the best Maritza has ever looked, and it's thanks to the beautiful colour scheme that was used on her. It truly brings out Maritza's gorgeous features. • The ray of light definitely reads more like it's a sunlit stroll in the market more than a fluorescent light. As well, the Judges were torn on whether the date was a realistic addition, or an afterthought.
ShiroOkazaki — Aubrie • The partner choice for Aubrie was on point, and they blend together perfectly, which was detailed very nicely in the description. • It's a bit mundane in its construction, and it would've been a big help to the overall score if more time had been spent in the description detailing the design process.
Dickjoke — Talia • You were the first to do a queer love representation, and the judges give you props for it. This type of fit really suit Talia. • Seeing two entries using the same companion, and the other entry used the companion better, your entry got overshadowed. Some judges felt that your description was a tad too long.
HELLPRIEST — Seren • Your take on the demon and angel trope looks nice. Seren looks adorable and angelic. • Some judges felt that the back looked too bulky and too much. And some felt that your description also felt a tad too long.
mythological irony — Sumati • The level of effort put into this creation is admirable. The idea is well thought out through the second half of the description, and it Sumati wears the silhouette well. • Perhaps this design is just a bit too complicated to pull off smoothly, as there are a few aspects that aren't very cohesive. The colour choice, and the face shadow weren't seen as positives.
Neapolitangirl — Ava • Ava's fit is cute, and contrasts nicely with her partner. And the scenery is beautiful. • Not enough liberties were taken with the description despite the challenge asking for an explanation of the portrayed relationship. Some judges felt as though your entry lacked romance.
ICLite — Lulu • Lulu in red is a serve. The styling of the outfit is smart. And the proposal idea is a fun take on the challenge. • Some judges weren't into the makeup choices made, and some felt that your execution of your idea didn't translate well.
Eliminated: Mini Black Velvet — Laurel • This a cute look for Laurel. The vibes is very fun and adorable. • Every judge agreed that this was your weakest entry yet. Some wanted better color choices made, and wanted more insights to the outfit in the description.
Status - Finished Entry Fourth Challenge - Bohemian Rhapsody Model - Rhiannon
"Caught in the Rain" by clowniing
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
Plip plop goes the rain...
After a buzzing concert, Rhiannon finds herself caught in the rain and seeks shelter underneath the roof of an abandoned little shed. There, she waits, the sounds of music slowly fading from her mind as they're replaced by the rhythmic pitter-patter of the rain and the refreshing scent of wet plants and wood.
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
Gosh, this challenge was honestly quite difficult for me! Bohemian fashion isn't something I've ever really thought about, so I did research this time and learned a bit about the style! I had the most difficulties with finding the items I had envisioned, but I'm very happy with the ones I chose! :3
I paired a very simple white crop top and washed out jeans, with a wide brimmed hat, a flowing white shawl, and a sarong that hangs loosely around Rhiannon's waist. I wanted to lean into the natural fabrics, so I didn't go with any flowery patterns or bright colors. I chose to focus on the accessory aspect of bohemian fashion, as I think that's a very interesting and fun part of the trend!! So Rhiannon sports several necklaces with beads and feathers (likely made by herself or her friends), a headband that channels that vintage hippie-feeling, as well as a pair of big cute glasses! Rhiannon's surroundings are pale and muted, making her blend in, but in a cozy way. It's a very pleasantly melancholic feeling when you stare out into the rain and the world goes quiet for just a few minutes...
Title: Her Calmer Side Designer: ShiroOkazaki Model: Aubrie
Description: Bohemian means many things to many people. My first instinct was to go for a crunchy, granola, natural style look with earthy browns and greens. I tried a few ideas, but the story teller in me said that Aubrie is not the type to go the hand-spun, homemade, garden grown route.
So where did that leave me? Boho chic seemed like a more fitting avenue. Flowy and flowery, but more of a "manicured mess". I tried to still use green originally, but I just could not find a shade that I liked on my model. Then I found this guitar item and I loved that concept so much. The blues and grays seemed to work for Aubrie while still having a natural, rainy day kind of feel. She may try to keep up appearances, but in the safety of her home she can steal a peaceful moment for herself.
The shoes gave me so much trouble on this one. I wanted something open and airy that felt balanced with the top half. Eventually I found a lovely pose without any shoes at all and that felt like it suited this story I was building. For any other theme, I might feel that shoes are absolutely necessary, but letting the feet go free is may well be the most thematic option for a bohemian outfit.
For my entry, I wanted to focus on creating an avatar that would embody the natural elements of a bohemian aesthetic.
Instead of going for more floral patterns, I opted for a simpler, less patterned outfit featuring a blend of earthy tones, designed to complement rather than overshadow Helena's innate beauty. My vision was to evoke the image of a contemplative artist, immersed in her thoughts and the natural world around her.
Starting from the top, she wears a white blouse with white transparent sleeves, which add a delicate and ethereal quality to her appearance. Adorning her neck there's a long necklace, featuring a moon-shaped charm. I've always felt that a boho look cannot be complete without some sort of jewellery.
She's wearing a brown maxi skirt that flows gracefully around her legs. Over this skirt, she wears a brown overdress, the top of which is obscured by the blouse, creating an intriguing layering effect. I was planning on using something that would look like a hip shawl, but when I tried this overdress, I fell in love with it, as it looked like the top of her skirt had an additional layer of lace. al
To make her outfit stand out more, I adorned Helena's hair with wine-coloured flowers, their rich hue adding a pop of colour to an otherwise very neutral-looking outfit. To push further the natural theming in her hand she holds a single white flower. Overall, I wanted the plants to symbolize the beauty of nature.
To the background I've added a filter with little yellow lights floating above her to create a magical atmosphere, while the orange-ish tint outside the window evoked the warmth of a sunset, adding to the dreamy and enchanting ambience of the scene.

Evening Stroll
Designer: Haji Demon Model: Maritza
Description:
I usually try to come up with a setting or story, or try for a creative outlook, but this time I got nothing more than a pretty woman taking a walk. So I'll be focusing on technical aspects Mostly cause I am fashion illiterate so I had no confidence in taking risks. I didnt know what most of those clothing items are, I didnt know what keywords would yield good results for them on gaia. I searched a bit on google and tried for a cohesive look based on images and some key items that were listed for it.
Most of the avi was about me going through all of gaia and seeing what I could layer well to match colors and make it seem like its a pattern. I liked the jewelry on arm/bust mod, but just had to search a little to find stuff that would layer on it as I didnt want that sleeveless look for boho. I used a lot of bright colors, but intentionally made them a bit dull by layering so that it'll have that dusk time look The eyeshadow worked unexpectedly well and I liked that. But yeah, I just hope that I didnt stray too far from whats Boho is supposed to be
Title. Feel It All Around Designer. Princess Warfare Model. Summer
Description
"You feel it all around yourself. You know it's yours and no one else. You feel the thought of love again, it's all right. In spite of all the things you did, we'll work it out."
Boho fashion inspires a sense of freedom and wonder in the beauty that surrounds us. It's so easy to lose sight of what nature gives to the world around it, as nature and flowers and birds seek no applause. They simply exist, sometimes as a muse for an artist, or an answer to someone who is seeking something within. I wanted to showcase Summer taking a moment to feel the wind, to thank the trees for the shade, and to simply be present.
I wanted to create a narrative, and this one sort of snuck up on me rather organically. With all of my designs, I have to dive in 110% and throw things at the proverbial wall to see what sticks. Summer's van was the catalyst to her weekend venture into nature, to escape her busy life in the city. She's OBVIOUSLY glamping here, because Summer I tried finding a lighting effect or overlay that would complement the scenery, but I decided to keep it simple and light in the spirit of the challenge criteria. I tried not to overload the background with too much "noise" but I still wanted to make it very lush and vibrant. I really enjoyed experimenting with outfits and backgrounds, though I'll be honest, I didn't know much about Boho fashion besides maxi skirts, lots of fun jewelry, and a big ol sun hat! xd Now I'm almost an expert lol.
One more thing I'm proud of: I used a crop top cutter over a really fun floral print shirt, and it came out perfectly!
Bohemian style reminds us to stop, slow down, and ground ourselves in all that is kind, all that is light. ♥
I knew immediately I wanted to go with a nice flowy maxi skirt as it's the first thing that comes to my mind personally when I think of Boho. However, I wanted to avoid using possibly overused items, so I steered clear of basic tags as much as possible. Luckily I found this gorgeous skirt, which worked perfectly for what I wanted. Her sandals layered perfectly with her skirt too so you can't see the pants they're attached to.
For her blouse, I almost opted for something I was feeling really 'meh' about, simply because I was struggling. But I searched harder and found something looser that fit the style better, only in the form of a dress. Luckily with some layering--thanks to the shorts, the top of which turned into a simple belt, which helps balance out her hair--I was able to use it! To top it off, I added a shawl (to go with the layered look of the Bohemian style) and a necklace.
I really wanted a headband that goes around the head and found this after much digging and passing up things that sat at the top of the head or were too chunky in design. I then gave her some subtler makeup than my other looks as the bold makeup didn't vibe with the style.
Pose-wise I almost submitted this with a very static pose simply because of the shawl I'd found. I did a quick rework to give her some more animated movement to fit in with the idea of a free spirit while still keeping a shawl.
Description: When I read this weeks prompt my mind went completely blank! Nothing was coming to my mind but thank goodness for google search! So many dressy and floral outfits! I was tempted to go the flowy flower look, but I knew that would be popular choice. I went with something simple but stylish.
Bryce is in the local market to buy more Vintage and/or hand crafted items! On thing I could really connect with the boho style is love for hand crafts. I make and have plenty hand crafted accessories especially.
A high rise pair of blue jean shorts and a loose white crop top. Paired with a brown netted shawl, all for style. I thought it was nice pattern piece to add with the simplicity of the outfit. The knee high tassel boots was another piece I thought was fun. I originally wanted cowboy boots to pair with a beige cowboy hat I found and liked, but didn't find any I liked! Because of that I ended up changing the hat, to a brown/black straw hat that worked better. I went with blue, green, gold to give more color to the style. The earring and bracelet accessories I picked are Native American beaded accessories. I wanted a colorful beaded necklace as well but none would flow with the top so I went with gold accessories since the bracelet had a bit of gold as well. If your going to be out in the sun, a cool pair of sunglasses are a must. I added two bags. One purse bag to store the money, keys, phone, etc. The other bag to hold newly purchased items from the market place of course!
I kept searching for a good farmer market background, but the best I could do was give the depth of variety that comes with a local outdoor market. A small business at the back, flower vender next, produce vender in between, and at very front a potter vender.

Designer: Neapolitangirl
Model: Ava Outfit Title: The Garden Witch Equipped List:
Description: Hi! I decided I wanted to do something a little "darker" for Ava this time around. The Bohemian movement is something that my favorite fashion designer, Anna Sui, takes a lot of inspiration from, so I decided I wanted to add her darker color schemes into my final product. I feel like the dark purples and pinks help Ava stand out against the purposely-faded background.
There's a lot of florals in this outfit! I thought they would strengthen the connection to Bohemia as we aren't using the traditional colorscheme associated with it (either white and brown or faded greens and white). Balancing them was the hardest part. The original draft had a bunch on the skirt and corset but it was way too busy so I found a different skirt that only had them at the hem. Feels more balanced this way, and lets me go all out with the corset.
There aren't a lot of accessories this time. As mentioned above there's already a lot of details on the body so I didn't want to make the design too messy. The shawl gives Ava a more cozy vibe, while the glasses connect the viewer to a specific time period. I've always seen Hippies as an essential part of the wild lifestyle, so I decided to add the coke-bottle glasses as a deliberate reference to them.
I'd like to think that this Ava runs a plant nursery of some sorts. She raises exotic plants and herbs and makes medicine from them. Some people call her a witch because of her skills, but whether or not she's magical remains completely ambiguous. She's showing off the current batch of plants she's working on as the day fades. Overall I'm really happy that I finished this, it's been a really hectic week!
╚══ ≪ °❈° ≫ ══╝ ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥Title: Go Your Own Way ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥Description: As Amren sets off on a journey of self discovery she also finds herself experimenting with her style. After roadtripping for what seems like days she finds herself in a cute little town full of new music, cultures, and aesthetics which seems to suit her new findings well. This is just what she needed to finally settle down and discover her newfound love of the unknown and her free-spirited ways. As she wanders the streets she thinks about where her next move will be to and what new things she'll find, you know she can't stay in one place for too long.
Light makeup, chunky jewelry, earth tones, patterns, layering, free spirit, I think I got most of it. I thought about this theme for a good bit, really had me scratching my head, I can't say I've really thought about this aesthetic much but one thing I did remember is that Stevie Nicks is the queen of it. As soon as I read about what kinds of clothing make up this aesthetic I knew immediately who I was going to base it off of. The title as well is based off of a Fleetwood Mac song of course. I quickly understood that this was a earth tones layering kind of aesthetic which is honestly pretty nice. You'll see that the main item I built off of is this brown shawl which I though was a nice earthy color, matching with some brown heeled boots which I also saw in a few reference photos. Honestly think I went through every skirt in the market before deciding on this nice long white one which I matched with a flowy tank top. Looking at bohemian color schemes I decided I wanted to add some of those nice brighter colors along with it so I went with blue and green, toned the green down and added a side skirt to match with that as well. In a bit of the reading I did about the aesthetic I also saw that chunky jewelry is a big part of it, I added some necklaces and the shawl I chose even came with rings which was a nice bonus so I built off of that blue color and added some headbands, you'll see that they are two of the same layered headbands because I simply could not choose which one I liked better and honestly it looked better together in my opinion. I've added a offblack scarf to the waist for more layering and to match with her hair color so it was not off balance color wise. Overall I think this was one of my favorite challenges so far since it matches closely with avatars I already like to do on my own.
